So, after almost a year on T, I can finally grow some decent facial hair. There's something about my genetics, all the men in the family look better with face-fur, so after spending some time with an unkempt beard to see how much it would grow out, I decided to try 'scaping. Turns out, I love the goatee look. Now, I haven't officially come out to my Aikido dojo as a group yet, so I've been shaving my face before I go to classes to keep from having to deal with certain logistical issues (changing rooms). Today, I took a huge step since we're all wearing masks and practicing outside anyhow, and wore my goatee to class today! I got a congratulations from the people who know I'm transitioning, but absolutely no negative feedback from anyone else. I'm ok with no one saying a word about it, its better than being attacked for it!   This was also the first time I've 'scaped in front of my unsupportive and transphobic family. They've gotten used to seeing the unkempt beard since I'm often too lazy to shave, but this was the first time I've had a definite male face. Since I've told them I'm transitioning, they haven't said anything negative about the new look, although I know it rocks their world quite a bit. I'm just glad they didn't freak out and make me shave it off completely! I love this look.

I just placed an order for a pair of loafers, it is a gift from me to me with love. I had an eye for these shoes and today they were marked down. so I got them.

I live in Houston as well, and am currently researching top surgeons. We do have several specialists here in town that I personally would consider going to. Your son is soooooo lucky to have you, my parents are totally unsupportive and I have to figure out how to get everything done on my own, with no financial help. Finances and logistical considerations being what they are, in a pandemic, I don't think you're being unreasonable to check into local surgeons first. I mean, we do have a world-class medical center right here, there's no reason to leave the city unless there are some very special mitigating circumstances. Just my cheap 2 pennies' worth.

That’s great news I’m glad they are supportive!

Yes - played the traditional Taking Care of Business by Bachman Turner Overweight.  Seagull is my favorite BC song - forgot about that one - thanks for reminding - I need to revisit. Once Paul Rodgers left BD I lost interest although I did buy Holy Water and liked what I heard. Smoke on the Water - yes - I did in my first band and I remember playing a church festival, breaking a string on my electric and doing the song on a 12 string acoustic. We were really horrible....

Hope everyone is having a good day. I sent an email coming out to my parents last evening. They got back to me at noon today. They were shocked but are 100% supportive. I’m so pleasantly surprised, I thought it would take them some time to come around. Finally stopped the happy tears flood about 30 minutes ago.  Next is my little sis. 2 1/2 out of 3 so far. Hugs! Hopefully I can nudge my wife over to fully onboard soon.

Funny how how i hated the mirror for a long time.  Then it became a love hate thing.  Today i'm simply trying to love whoever i see with as little judgement as possible.  Sure brushing my wig or a little makeup can ice the cake a bit but it still tastes as sweet and maybe it's less fattening without icing. Times has almost made the mirror my friend.  I no longer feel i will scare people or myself.   Hugs,   Charlize

I have worked for Lancome for several year-and cosmetics with skin care are my expertise.   To start of, as other members here advised you, go with an inexpensive product and I am choosing for you the brand Revlon.   Always apply your foundation to a clean skin, that is important, making certain NO FACE HAIR AND FREE OF FACE FUZZ   In the morning, wash your face (make it a habit) Apply a generous amount of a moisturizer and let it set for some minutes. Then with a Kleenex, tap gently your face skin to have all left residue come  off to the Kleenex. Apply a BB Cream making certain that you have chosen the correct shade for you. Apply under the eyes a Concelear ( choose the one shade lighter from your BB cream) Set your lovely face with Powder (choose the the shade that is right for you. When applying the powder, invest to  powder brush Apply  two cots of Mascara in black, then Apply a a lip gloss of your liking.   Important to define your eyebrows. I cannot help you in that field as I have not the structure in front of me of your face. But do have a lovely shape, an arc.   At nights, do a double cleasing Take the Day Off with Cleansing Toilettes Clenase you face with cotton balls Micellar Water Apply a generous amount of Nivea Soft all over your fave   I am attaching a free face guide Guide

Wayyyy back when I used to play, I loved picking Shooting Star.  An easy song, but I really got off on the contrast of acoustic sound and when the "fuzz pedal" kicked in.  Seagull was another fav tune from Bad Co.  After the black album, I drifted away from them until Holy Water. Joe Cocker was like Frank Zappa to me... I really really just did not get it! lol @Shay, ever play any BTO?  Not Fragile was one of the first songs I ever learned (right after I learned Smoke on the Water ).  Ahhh, good memories.

I'm a 19 year old Female at Birth but for a very long time I've always been happier wearing male clothing and  I much prefer to shop for clothing in the mens aisle rather than the womens. I love having my hair cut short and for the first time today I went to a Male Barbers shop and got it cut how I really wanted it rather than having to opt for a Pixie cut at my local hairdressers to appease my Mum.   I hate having breasts and it's my desire to have them removed so I can have a flat chest but yet I'm not bothered about my lower half and I don't have any desire to have any facial hair.  As I'm presenting as a male to the outside world I would much rather be referred to as he/him rather than she/her and obviously this would mean possibly changing my name from a female one to a male one at some point.     Having just come out to my Mum and Dad with their support I've just ordered my first chest binder and I'm so looking forward to being able to go out feeling flatter and not having to wear a bra.   I'm not sure exactly where I fit in on the transgender spectrum but I feel like I'm a female who just wants to dress and feel masculine, so am not sure I'm classed as totally F2M.   Does anybody else share these feelings?
