My First Electro

Guest Vicky

Recommended Posts

I am so happy, because I have booked my first electrolysis appointment for Nov13.

But I am not sure to shave before the treatment, or should I leave it grow for a few days?

My electrolysis is on Saturday mornings....

My electrologist doesn't want me to shave from Thursday morning until after the appointment...They have to be able to see them and on each one when the process happens, she lifts it out with tweezers, so, there has to be something there to get a hold on!

Good luck, Honey!

Oh good, Dee Jay got there with the information - you have to have enough hair for them to see it and to get hold of it - also all hairs are not growing at the same time and they need to zap the follicles while they are active and the growth from the previous 2 days will show them the active ones.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Love ya,

Sally

Thank you Donna Jean, so I need to stop shaving two or three days before the appointment.

Yes, Sweetie.....True...

But, that's the part that I hate the most...Oh, I can take the needle and laying there for long hours at a time, but letting it grow out for 2-3 days just kills me!

I have to tell you that I sure don't feel very girly on Saturday morning after a couple of days of beard growth!

I want it off! And I want it off NOW!

Oh well, patientence is a virtue....just don't push it too far.....lol

Good Luck, Baby!

I am the same way Donna Jean, I just can't stand it on my face. I heard that electro is a bit painful. But I don't care if painful or not, I want to remove it all so bad!

I am still trembling after my first electro, it was today. And it hurts, yayy! I felt scared just like as at the dentist. She showed me the needle, and oh, it is going deep into the skin, so i just grabbed that ground one hand and held it so strong all the way long... She did a very good job though, so i will keep on going, and I am so happy to make this small little first baby steps.

Today I had my second electro, and it hurted at every single time the needle was under my skin. This time the treatment was half an hour long... I just closed my eyes and thought about how nice my face will be as a woman...

Good for you, Sweetheart....

It's truly amazing what us women will do to ourselves in the name of beauty, isn't it?

I never thought that I would let someone stick an electrified needle into my face 55,000 times and pay for the privilege!

Geez....

Keep it up, though, Sweetheart....this is not an open ended thing that we do....it does come to an end eventually!

Love & OUCHIE HUGGS!

This topic reminds me of the lyrics to the Beatles song, "A Little Help From My Friends."   "What do you see when you turn out the lights?"   "I can't tell you but I know it's mine."   Carolyn Marie

@Ivy have you read the actual document?   Has anyone else out there read it?
    • Abigail Genevieve
I am reading the Project 2025 document https://www.project2025.org/policy/   This will take some time.  I read the forward and I want to read it again later.   I read some criticism of it outside here and I will be looking for it in the light of what has been posted here and there.  Some of the criticism is bosh.   @MaeBe have you read the actual document?

      *older, not holder, oops :P

      No problem!

Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).

I will have arrived when I have a b*tch certificate of my own.  I think someone called me one once.

That’s fantastic Lorelei. I’m so happy for you.   Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
