Is it ok if I use electric razors? I got like 20 cuts from reg razors now I'm totally like TERRIFIED of them... If I use electric razors will my hair grow out faster or thicker? and is it good enough so that my legs would be nice and smooth? XD

Sure...an electric razor would be just fine and there are some nice women's electric razors available.

The thing is, though.....probably the very first time ...you'll have to shave the hair off because most electrics can't shave long hairs.

But a haircut type trimmer would work great for the first time...then an electric razor from then on out!

HUGGS!

Never ever worry that hair will grow faster or thicker, regardless of the method you use. Thickness of hair and the speed it grows are both controlled by genetics and hormones. Certain medical conditions can affect hair growth, as can hormonal medications, but shaving never will, and that's a fact ^_^.

After I shave it's like a lil spiky so its like ew T.T Is there a way to make it REALLY smooth? T.T

Yep. Wax. Plus it lasts ages longer than shaving or depilatories. Or you could try an epilator, that's pretty much like waxing. In either case, you're ripping the hair out at the root, so same results :)

I wax my bikini line, but I think I'm going to start waxing all over. The only reason I haven't yet, is I'm too impatient to let it grow back long enough for the wax to be effective. It hurts, but it's worth it.

Some women's shavers have trimmers built in them to knock down the long hairs. But if you really want to do them in get yourself an Epilator which plucks the hair out at the roots, it hurts a little at first but once you've used them a couple of times. But the more you use it the lighter and thinner your hair becomes. you'll find your skin allot smother too for allot longer than shaving.

Take Care

Yaaaa but like my parents dont know that I'm even shaving -_-"" and I dunno how 2 wax so like yaa >.>""

Instructions are on the box ;)

Pick a day when they won't be around, use the premade wax strips so there's no mess, and get it all buried under the trash before they come home :D

I am not endorsing any products here but I have heard wonderful things about a line of razors (men's and women's) from Panasonic that are immersible - designed for use in the shower.

They are supposed to do a good job, feel very comfortable and leave your skin smooth.

That's what I have heard but I am unsure of the price.

As to waxing and epilators - that is up to you and your pain tolerance!

Love ya,

Sally

I don't have the time to faff about with waxing, and it hurts too much and I always end up looking red and sore and like a plucked chicken. It's not worth the pain, time and expense for a week.. and did I mention the pain? Then there is the fact of having bad bristles for 3 or 4 days waiting for it to get long enough to wax again.. nah.. so I just use a decent womens razor and blitz it all every other day. Takes me about 10 minutes to do everything.. all over..

Cuts are purely inexperience... My ex used to get me to shave her legs on the reasoning after years shaving my face twice a day every day I had the skillz :) I can manage in the dark and I don't even have to look any more. I know where everything is... you can have that skill too.. with practise.

3 hour sessions? If you don't like pain DeeJay, I'll sacrifice myself and stand in your place. I don't mind, I swear!

Guest i is Sam :-)

my hair is so dark that like shaving my arms was terrible cos i just looked like i was covered in little black dots. my legs look ok shaved and i really enjoy shaving my legs. but I bought an epilator and gave it a go.

some places it's not too bad, some places it really frigging hurts, and my tolerence seems to change from day to day, and time of day. i managed all of my arms and almost all of my legs in the end it took about 5 days in total doing it in short sessions, but i couldn't manage the bit on the back of my right thigh i dunno why more there than anywhere else, but geeze it was too much i was getting so apprehensive with the natsy snarling thing trying to move it toward my leg then stopping. in the end i gave up and went over that bit with my electric razor, i'll try again, in a few days, if i do it when it's shorter it'll probably catch fewer hairs at once thus will hurt less. Oh and i couldn't go over my knees with it, cos it was like just smacking your bone with the wheel. but i could wax those.

you barely feel it at all tho if you use it every day for maintenence.

Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).

Good morning everyone,   It’s Thursday well as least I took my Thursday Medications as sorted out in my weekly dispensary caddy. Today’s coffee is Folgers Breakfast Blend served HOT, black and strong. My wife and I are going to explore the Western and Southern coasts of Saginaw Bay and hang out in Bay City, MI. today.    @Willowonce @Abigail Genevievepointed out the word usage in your post. I read it and laughed, enjoying the snarky tone of the comment. Since it was spelled correctly I thought maybe you meant for it to read just as you typed it. Then the kinder gentler me thought it would be better if I changed it. I’m not saying I corrected it, I just changed the severity of the sentence.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
