"still A Flower"

I see my nightmares

They are in the mirrors

In phone calls gone tragic

In the tearful call after the click

A warmer voice echoes

In my head, oh troubled head

Telling me that I'll be alright

Comfort spoken, not just words said

But my sister's words

Those slit my throat

My dreams left hurt

As well as my hope

And the second call

Cushioned the fall

She was my lighter in the dark

I hit send and set the spark

Lost in the ringing

With tears to catch

A sad song is singing

I just sit and watch

The tint in my vision

It cleared up some

The salt in a blurred decision

Blends into my fan's hum

She said my sister is wrong

For morphing me into my sad song

As I am still a flower

Who is too bold and bright to cowar

I know this isn't my usual style.

I'm one of those people who can do many kinds of artistic endeavors (including poetry) quite well. I'm also the last person anyone would turn to for scheduling or just remembering anything at all. I know I am lost in my own instability and chaos. But I am happy living in my world where it feels like life is built on liquid concepts and nothing is concrete, nothing is solid, nor is there a particular reason why I should box myself into one style. I know I've gotten on a tangent that for some reason needed to be said but now I must go onto my original point...

... Thank you. I do what I can.
