"finish My Pain"

If my tears fall you've taken too much

You've taken my heart and my touch

Now this time you've walked all the way

No turning around, nothing to say

But I won't let you have my tears

Now that you took my heart

And as the mess clears

I must do my part

My part will be to finish my pain

Leaving the world my blood stain

Something more permenent than salt

And blood can be my fault

You can blame me this time

As blood is easier than tears

And the heart that was mine

Will be forever yours

Depression is a powerful thing. Especially when heavily exacerbated with a break up. I'll probably do even more irrational things than usual, but it's in my nature I guess.

I have been though many a breakup. Each time, I think, that I will never find someone that I could ever fall in love with again. I am proven wrong everytime. Without even expecting it, you find new love :)

Well I was going to do something stupid, reckless, self-destructive and permenent last night but ended up passing out on my living room floor in my apartment that I've turned upside down. Today I'm going to try something positive that involves no substances. I'm going to clean my disaster zone of an apartment.

I read your poem and I understood it all too well...

I'm happy that you're here today to clean your apartment.....

You did understand it. I can tell.

Well, I got almost halfway but I had done quite the job messing it all up. I tend to be self-destructive anyhow but what was not-so-good anyhow was exacerbated by the break up. I often feel that living is more effort than it's worth.

I often feel that living is more effort than it's worth.

But you know that living is truely worth all of the effort. To feel joy, love, carress, as well as pain is what living is all about.

Not living is nothing. Without life, there is no joy, there is no love.

Breakups are very hard, but you do move on (believe me, I know). The day will come when you are in love again :)

I do wish to be inlove again but that is still scaryI don't want my heart to be hurt ever again. I get the feeling she broke up with me because I'm not very easy to deal with. She still thinks I'm "really attractive" and that made me feel more dehumanized like she was dating me for my body. But I really felt she was the one who was going to keep me.

This topic reminds me of the lyrics to the Beatles song, "A Little Help From My Friends."   "What do you see when you turn out the lights?"   "I can't tell you but I know it's mine."   Carolyn Marie

@Ivy have you read the actual document?   Has anyone else out there read it?
    • Abigail Genevieve
I am reading the Project 2025 document https://www.project2025.org/policy/   This will take some time.  I read the forward and I want to read it again later.   I read some criticism of it outside here and I will be looking for it in the light of what has been posted here and there.  Some of the criticism is bosh.   @MaeBe have you read the actual document?

      *older, not holder, oops :P
    • Abigail Genevieve
      No problem!

Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).

      I think I lost a friend :(

I will have arrived when I have a b*tch certificate of my own.  I think someone called me one once.

That’s fantastic Lorelei. I’m so happy for you.   Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
