Ugggggh - Dr. PEE

Hey - I am 'some' of those things Emily said, "open-minded, pro-diversity and left-leaning" - but I get confused - I voted for The Shrub because I didn't like the Democrat's stand on gun control - and then deeply regreted what he did to our country. I voted for Obama and now HOPE we have a great recovery because of his leadership - but there is no guarantee. But I guess that makes me a 'stand up straight' as I don't seem to lean much most days.

Open minded? Maybe - but always opinionated - my open mindedness seems to be just getting tired of arguing and walking away - yikes!

Pro-diversity? I wasn't that great at it until I realized the world really isn't 'normal' like I was taught. Previously I sorta felt everyone should have a shot at the 'pursuit of happiness,' but I didn't want it crammed down my throat. That's really my big change - knowing how hurtful it is when society doesn't consider you normal or equal to them (the same people who are molesting children and beating spouses - then condemning everyone else??? - auuuugh). I AM pro-diversity now because I am pro-HUMAN BEING!

But I still cringe when I hear a certain name - Guess who???

{{{{{{{{heave}}}}}}}} anyone got a paper towel???

[Lizzy sometimes gets a little strange]

i don't like him... and i am not shy about that!

(standing her ground, not allowing him or any other uninformed or uncaring individual to ever make someone here feel anything less than loved)

Well, that's not very nice at all. Remember the Golden Rule.

All I can say April is...Mwah ha ha ha haaaaaa...Dr. Phil when inter-active TV comes out (they say in about 5-6 years)look for a new vocation...that goes for Jerry too :P . When the technology really starts going (this is like with quad-9 chips...we're at quad-1 now)it will even be able to be in 3D so another mwah ha ha ha haaaaaa...so much to look forward to, so little time. In the meantime the nerf tennis testicles work good, although I have wacked some stuff on the coffee table...might need to get a racquetball racquet. It makes me smile in my sleep dreaming of it, Kelly Ann

::points at Kelly Ann:: She started it! XD

No, perhaps harnessing Wii's technological wonders for such a thing isn't the best or nicest idea. After all, Nintendo *is* a family company. ;)

I don't hate this man, sometimes he can be pretty funny and occasionally he is even right.

The danger is that he has so many viewers who think that he is right all of the time.

If he says, "You can fly, only the weak minded can't."

Half of his audience would leap out of windows and only the ones on lower floors would survive.

Oprah is just as dangerous, her followers believe everything she says without questioning.

It is this sort of control over others that must not be abused.

In their situations they need to think not of ratings but of the results of what they say.

Responsibility is a word that has lost it's meaning for most people.

Love ya,

Indeed, responsibility seems to be the word without a definition. Irresponsibility is the definition of the 21st century! Oh, that makes me feel so much better :P

It certainly could be classed as dark humor.  Unfortunately the sentiments alone must hurt young trans folks.  Decency and reality doesn't seem to be in the GOP's vocabulary.   Hugs,   Charlize

Good morning all,    It’s a frosty morning here the lawn looks silvery, and the uncovered spring flowers have icy edges on their leaves. The only flower bed I covered was my tulips. As nice as it is here during the day, our clear wind free nights allow the temperatures to drop into the mid twenties. Here in our growing zone it’s recommended that you not plant delicate plants until Mother’s Day. Central Indiana can have snow as late as the third week of May. The birds are active at the feeders, I’ve had my cup of yoghurt and morning meds. So I’ll sit here, drink coffee and watch the as the sunrise chases the frost from the yard.    @awkward-yet-sweet I could eat black eyed peas as a side for every meal. Boil them plain or with fatback. Served as a leftover, just add in a little Rotel Original Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies.  Make the best of your day,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Had a weird dream last night.

Morning, y'all. Evening here; we had the regulation three mugs full today. Now it's time to drink something else.     No big plans here either, eldest daughter and granddaughter will be arriving on Saturday, and we will have our granddaughter to ourselves for a week after that. We still have plans though. Tuesday we'll go to the swim center, Wednesday we'll take a road trip to visit my mom, Thursday we'll get some mulch delivered to top up the gardens.   I still make other small plans on a daily basis though. The things I do plan nowadays, which is a bit new for me, is that after pinching a nerve and ending up in a bit of pain and getting some treatment from the physio, I am more motivated than ever to exercise more regularly. Tuesday for example, I went for a short (15 minute) early morning walk, went to the pool for some hydrotherapy, and mowed the lawns. Yesterday I did my exercise reps and spent some time on the exercise bike. Today, I went for a 45-minute walk, tomorrow I will do my reps again and go for a long bike ride. As long as I do at least one thing every day, right? The pleasing thing is that I'm losing weight! I blew out to above 95kg early in the year and I'm just under 91kg now. Yay me!

What one piece of advice would you give to beginning transitioners or considering transition?

Positive side of the mixed bag.

Boredom is an emotional state that comes when a person has nothing to do, and is not interested in anything. To stop boredom, most people do something to occupy or amuse themselves. The first known use of the word boredom is in the novel Bleak House by Charles Dickens, written in 1852, but the saying to be a bore had been used to mean "to be tiresome or dull" since 1768. When referring to the mind, boredom is a bad state in which the person feels a deep lack of interest in what is going on around them, and where it is hard to focus.
