Harvest Moon: Beloved by Nintendo fans, often picked up by casual gamers, drooled over by teenage girls.

It's a pretty awesome series. I really hope the 3DS game is a remake of 64; that's the best game in the series in my opinion.

I've only played two of the games (three if you count the sequel to A Wonderful Life, but they're more or less the same thing), which are both of the ones on GameCube, but I have to say I do love the series. There's a certain simplicity to it that I find charming. I haven't played any of the newer games, but I hope to eventually.

My favorite would have to be A Wonderful Life, but again I've only played two games (the other one being Magical Melody. I liked it, but not as much as AWL).

My wife and I played the heck out of Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon for DS. Apparently they're calling that a spin off, but it's the same idea. I adored the game, but I was upset that I had to be a boy for the first half of the game.

Rune Factory is a spinoff.

It's Harvest Moon.. In fantasy RPG form!

..Though I can't see the similarity. It's just a fantasy RPG with farming and dating sim elements.

Meh, I liked it. I Turned on Harvest Moon 64 for a bit and I thought it seemed similar enough considering the time-span between them.

I used to play the heck out of Harvest Moon 64 as a kid, that game kept me entranced for hours. : D

I actually just picked up Harvest Moon DS and started playing it again last night, first time since like '06! I find HM games calming, personally - there's not really any pressure to do anything specific, which is atypical of a video game. I'm glad the series has garnered enough of an audience to continue making titles. Who knew so many people would find a game about *farming* to be so awesomely fun.

Funny. I was on a HM forum ranting about how mediocre DS and Cute are compared to the rest of the series.

It's so...So..

Bland.

Harvest Moon DS/Cute is actually my favorite game in the series! It has the best version of the gameplay system, in my opinion, and overall, it just seems to do all the little things right, which is very important in a game like this. I played the game for well over 150 hours, and then played Cute for about 100 more! I love the relaxing pace of the Harvest Moon series; a welcome departure from high-octane thrillfests that seem to crowd the industry today.

Well yesterday didn't work like I wanted to. I met a guy and started talking and he was wanting to be in a relationship. I asked my kids on how they thought of me dating a man and they said gross and said no. I guess it's time to look for women. I think that is going to be harder. Oh well I guess.

This topic reminds me of the lyrics to the Beatles song, "A Little Help From My Friends."   "What do you see when you turn out the lights?"   "I can't tell you but I know it's mine."   Carolyn Marie

@Ivy have you read the actual document?   Has anyone else out there read it?
    • Abigail Genevieve
I am reading the Project 2025 document https://www.project2025.org/policy/   This will take some time.  I read the forward and I want to read it again later.   I read some criticism of it outside here and I will be looking for it in the light of what has been posted here and there.  Some of the criticism is bosh.   @MaeBe have you read the actual document?

      No problem!

Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).
