Any Advice On How To Make Smooth Legs?

I've personally had the best results with waxing, still a few bumps, but not nearly as many. Almost none on chest area. Plus it's the smoothest removal (short of permanent removal, I'd assume, but yeah, best to wait til HRT to do that, I'd think).

I tried to wax my leg's over the weekend(using a home kit) and I am not sure if I was doing it wrong or not but it did really hurt and it actually left some bruising behind. So maybe in the the future I might want to leave it to a professional until I master it myself, but I do admit that I do absolutely love the results though.

It hurts more at first. As you go with it, though, the hair follicles weaken and it gets easier and less painful. That's what I'm told anyway, I'm by no means an expert. Yet. *smiles*

Hello all, well I’ve been shaving my legs for over 35 years now and I’ve tried just about every product and hair removal method there is except laser. Shaving works the best for me. Here are some things I have learned:

1. Razor choice. Hands down it’s Venus Embrace (5 blades). It’s very expensive but well worth it.

2. Oil of Olay body wash for shaving.

3. DON’T press to hard!

4. Warm water. Not hot.

5. Shave in the evening.

6. Let hairs soften in the water before shaving.

7. Don’t press to hard. (Worth saying again!)

While shaving, use the pouf with the body wash in one hand and the razor in the other. Lather up the legs well and then make one SOFT stoke up your leg with the pouf and immediately follow with the razor. This stands the hair up before shaving. Do this for the entire leg shaving against the hair growth.

After shaving use a good quality non fragranced lotion before completely drying off.

This is VERY important. Don’t let your legs dry out before the lotion.

This all works the best for me. I hope it helps you all. Please let me know what you think.

Steph
