So I am currently on vacation in Virginia, and this is what I wear to the beach... Just to give you an idea of what is doable for mtf with the downstairs mix up.

I had girl swim trunks heres a link

I also got a cute top from Zumiez, The shorts and top are not supposed to go together, I am just showing you what I bought, for me they make me look like im just starting to grow boobies

Shorts to go with the top,

They are cute. I really like the flowery white girls shorts. Now I know what I might want to get.

And I've started epilating my legs for the spring / summer season so I can actually feel okay wearing shorts too!

Thank you,

Love them,

Kate

Areil,

I, too, like the flowery shorts. I am in a delemma for summer, let me tell you why.

I am 49 years young and have been on HRT for 7 months now. My developement is slow, due to age, but noticable, i.e. I can't go bare chested, as men do at the pool, beach etc. Only one person at my apartment complex knows I am trans--- so I guess I'll have to skip the pool this year.

But girl, you rock on, you have good tastes in girls clothing.

Karen K,

Why keep yourself from the pool? There is an easy fix just wear a t-shirt in the pool this is done all the time by both men and woman. Few if any would even question this. even in my younger years I did this all the time. Was a great help when I first started hrt. Do not keep yourself from doing things you enjoy cause of some fear. Put that t-shirt on and get yourself all wet.

Karen, hon, there is a bathing suit for everyone, you are going to go to th pool this year, you may not be rockin' the bikini due to only 7 months but there are other options such as

still room to stuff,

, just look at stores like Macy's and such you'll be surprised :)

I have considered a few times, in wishful moments, going to the pool in a normal little bikini and not worrying about the bottom's being too revealing or my size a's appearing to small. Has anyone else here ever considered doing that or done it? Are there bikini bottoms that could keep me tucked well enough, long enough? Or is that indeed wishful thinking?

Well, Currently I am not on hormones. I am hoping to by next summer.

In the meantime, as my hair, face and body appearance is getting more femme, I started getting attention in my old trunks. So now I wear these in black:

And a short sleeved rash guard

I can tuck and add my forms *Poof* Surfer girl. Or formless with a tuck very androgynous at least. Plus the rash guard is 50 spf which helps me make up for the years I spent in the sun as a lifeguard.

I desperately want this one! It's a 3 piece, so there's a bikini bottom and then a pair of bloomer-style shorties, so nobody would have to notice a thing! And it's freaking adorable, tell me it isn't!

I actually do have a bikini bottom that I use specifically for tucking because it works so well. It's doubled up fabric and it barely stretches, even after wearing it all day, and it's very comfortable. I think if I were wearing only that, though, it would still be somewhat noticeable if anyone stared for a few seconds.

I'm totally into that style, but I don't think I want to show off as much of my man-torso as the top does. The shorts are cute, though.
