Hello everyone! I wanted to tell any WoW players here who are looking for a home that Vehemence (a trans & trans supporters Guild) is Recruiting! EVERYONE is welcome. I am trying to go all-out on that server, I am doing good! I have a level 70 Death Knight, and a 71 Hunter there and leveling fast! just type

"/who Vehemence" when you make your character and BAM! it will show all members online in the guild.

Note though; Please do not flood the chat with things that make people uncomfortable, I made that mistake once. if they ask you where you heard of them, just say Arrowskies or Louderskies sent you, and remember to add that you are FTM, or MTF, so they know what kind of person you are.

Which server is that guild on anyway? I have a Paladin I want to transfer someplace in a couple of weeks.

Awesome, thanks mate. I'm not able to play WoW until I get my new laptop but when I do log on I'll look that guild up. I mostly play on Silvermoon but I'd be willing to make a character over on Burning legion to get a good guild. I haven't had much luck finding one up until now.

Very few people in my guild know I'm trans, and I'm happy with that. Everyone knows I'm a girl, but only the people who have me on facebook know I'm trans.

Plus I have like 6 toons. It would be expensive to transfer.

I had 6-7 toons on Darrowmere. Horrible realm. It's rated 240 or 241 out of 241 realms. I deleted all of my toons under level 40, transferred my dk to Proudmoore and still have to transfer my Pally out of that place. I'm currently taking a break for a couple of weeks.

I don't play WoW too much anymore (not much of a social aspect and feel grinding is a bit tedious anymore as it doesn't feel as social as it used to...maybe I've just been away for too long I have no clue).

I got the 10-day free trial to Cata again and have been fooling around on some of the characters I had back when.

I also have another account on my name to where I can play up to level 20, just to satiate the WoW feeling if I need to but to level 20 isn't much and won't let you make gob/worg characters obviously.

I guess i'd be willing to hang or something (used to play on Balnazzar then Windrunner I believe) and they just seem empty. It could also be why I just stopped haha.

My girlfriend and I have a guild (level 8) on Proudmoore server. We're a small, social guild. We've got a little crew who have been having a lot of fun running dungeons and heroics together. We're looking for more people who want to possibly start raiding in a low stress environment.

Right now I have an 85 druid & a 85 pally on Proudmoore server. My first love is healing , but have been really getting into tanking the past few months. I have serveral other toons that I plan on transferring over when finances allow me to.

Anyone interested in joining up, running some 5 mans, or just wanting some cool people to hang with is welcome to message me in-game my toons on this server are as follows:

Illgobare (85 druid, item level 359)

Esaycheyetee (85 pally, item level 356)

You can also do a /who to find anyone in our guild, Alientactix

Gah! I have 5 level 85s on Steamwheedle Cartel already and I'm in a good guild (Crimson Clouds). It would definitely be a bank breaker to move everything for me.

I figure that I'll start playing again later next week (I'm moving later this week and not sure about the internet access yet). If I can get on I'll look you up. My dk on proudmoore is 85, spec'ed for tank and off spec for unholy. The guild I'm in now only has 4 people in it with a ton of alts. We're not get much done.

Congratulations and Happy Anniversary!!!! A beautiful milestone.    I hope to see you tonight...I just have to stay awake long enough!!

It's funny with photos isn't it, how we think we look in them vs. how we actually do look in them! I'm hopeless at smiling and I have to try really hard not to frown or look like a zombie. I'm never sure how I come across to others.   I had a moment late last night when my eldest daughter facetimed my wife for some now forgotten reason, and when I was handed the tablet and talking to her, I was fixated on my image in the corner. My hair was wild at the time, I was a bit tipsy and all I saw was a woman! I have no idea what she saw in that context. I'll probably never know.

I hope to see you on the Zoom meeting tonight, April.  I might be late, since I am doing lights and sound for a play that opened last night.  I was home before ten last night, so I think I'll be able to make it.   Today is an anniversary for me.  Seven years ago today, I stood up at the weekly community kaffeeklatsch as <deadname> and announced that henceforth I would be Kathy.  It went as well as I could have imagined: there were some surprised looks, but no hostility and lots of support.  A whole layer of stress disappeared that day and has never come back.  (There have been other stresses, but that one is gone.)  I have been me full-time ever since that moment.

This is a scarily accurate description of what I feel!   I hope I don't sound too schmaltzy by saying this, but I remember when I signed up to this forum last year, during the sign-up process the question is asked, "Why do you want to join TransPulse?" to which I wrote, "Looking for a home where I can freely write about my issues and interact with similar people."    I think I just found one. ❤️

Good morning, everyone!! I was up early again - already on my third cup of coffee having walked/fed the dog and read the local paper.   We have a birthday party for a friend to go to this afternoon but no real plans otherwise.   I hope to be able to attend tonight's TGP Zoom session. It's been weeks since I've been able to participate with the illness/loss of our dog, two horrible colds in succession and our trip to chase the solar eclipse.   Have a wonderful day and look for the goodness in it.

I think we tend to be overly critical of our looks, whether we're trying to express ourselves as masculine, feminine or anywhere along the gender spectrum. For me, I use photos as a way to track my progress, to help me find my style and look and to help me find ways to improve myself in posture, looks, make-up, style......   I didn't really think about our FB avatar being public but then realized that when people search they do see it.   Since I'm not out to anyone but my wife, therapist, priest and people here, my FB page remains "that guy." I have created a Bitmoji that is relatively androgynous moving slowly towards the feminine. Long gray hair, earrings, softer features...I'm transitioning it along with myself. :-)

I so very much enjoy your posts. This one, though, hit home with me for many reasons. I was commissioned in the Army in '77, as well. Like you, I was not overly masculine in the way that many of our contemporaries were. I (still do) cried at weddings, pictures of puppies and babies, when I talked about bring proud of what my units accomplished and was never the Type A leader. In the end, it worked for me and I had a successful career.   This is, of course, your story not mine so I won't detail my struggle. It just took me much longer to understand what the underlying cause of my feelings was and even more to admit it. To act on it.    Thank you for sharing your story, Sally.
