I love Disney Movies, both the new ones and the old ones. My favorite of all time is Lady and the Tramp from 1955.

I am a lovesick romantic at heart.

Hey Gabochi

Also love Atlantis (the lost empire), and Little toaster here, other faves are Toy Story (first one), and Sleeping Beauty.

We have stacks of Disney movies on VHS, my kids and I still enjoy.

Of Disney movies: my favourite is probably the Lion King :) Of all things Disney, Music Land :D (an animated short from 1935, I think. It's brilliant: SO good!)

I do LOVE Disney movies but most of them make me cwy and I find it hard to watch them. My GF was amazed when I told her I have seen The Lion King and Jungle Book only once!

When I was at school we had to watch Dumbo and I sat there the entire time staring at the wall or ceiling trying not to burst in to tears!!!!

Hmmmmmm but my top five favvy areeee: 1. Beauty and the Beast 2. Aladdin 3. Toy Story 2 4. Sleeping Beauty (Aurora is soooo pwetty, jealous of her dress!!!!) 5. Hercules :)

Oh and I'm not sure if it was made "in house" by Disney but Teen Angel was an awesome show and deserves more recognition than it got :D <3 love that show!!!!

Ever heard of the short "the old mill"? I like that one a lot :)

My favorites are The Lion King (all three), Aladdin, the first Atlantis (sorry, but the second was horrible), Mulan, and Hercules.

I'm a total Disney nerd, too. I've been to Disney World so many times that I can't count, and never get tired of it (and I'm almost 19 XD).

I like all of them that I have seen. Lion King is probably my favorite. I like Aladin too and I can probably sing all the songs during the movie. If it is a Disney movie then I am watching it.

I dunno...after the bomb I watched tonight, I'm just not sure anymore.

Tron: The Legacy was horrible....there was so much potential for a sequel and they gave us that tripe...

*sigh*

My favorite animated Disney movies are "Robin Hood", "The Sword in the Stone", and "Alice in Wonderland". I don't expect that will ever change.

:o you've all just reminded me of a load of other great ones! Fantasia original and 2000 were so good... Tangled was pretty good. Up was so sad!! But such a good film. I've seen Robin Hood many times too.

Just watched The Old Mill Gabochi :) it's good, but I still think Music Land is better. Perhaps it's coz I likes music :)

Favourite film is probably... perhaps fantasia 2000 actually. But Music Land still trumps that. ooohh :D

Me! And it's outstanding!

I was there sitting next to Dee Jay - Tangled was great. The first movie I ever saw ever, was Alice in Wonderland. It is my second favorite after Fantasia.

I agree...except I don't believe I've ever seen Fantasia all the way through. I haven't seen Music Land either. Loved Tangled and Up. Robin Hood is a classic :)

As a long time Disney fan mine go back to Bambi, Snow White, Cinderella, Fantasia (loved the Sorcerer's Apprentice) But I enjoy the newer ones to - I loved the Little Mermaid (I want her non tangling, never matted down while wet red hair) Dumbo only got a brief mention but if you look at it and remember just how old it is and that everything in all of the early films were done completely by hand - no computer animation - that was all done one frame at a time by artists - 30 Frames for 1 second, 1,800 frames per minute and with an average length of 90 minutes that makes 162,000 hand painted cells set up and photographed, one frame at a time - makes you sort of appreciate the old masters doesn't it?

Love ya,

Sally

The Lion King is the greatest cartoon movie ever made, and in my top ten overall. Also, Up, Mulan, Sleeping Beauty (I cant believe I havent seen it yet), and the live action Jungle Book, I believe with Jason Scott Lee. And just for fun, anyone want to take a shot at a trivia question? Its from a Disney movie:

Who is the only one of the AFI voted 50 Greatest Villains who never appeared on screen?

It's kinda weird how these people are so worked up over making these laws.  They would have no effect on cis people either way.  Yet they are the ones with the obsession.  They ought to just stay out of trans people's business.

Bean burritos are still popular in my family.   Black eyed peas are the one legume I'm not fond of.  I need to add lots of onions. And of course always cook your pintoes with fat-meat.  And for y'all yankees, navy beans with a big ol' ham bone are hard to beat.

Seek out community, not just online but in person if possible. Making trans friends is a pretty quick and easy way to gauge if you have much in common with them.

It certainly could be classed as dark humor.  Unfortunately the sentiments alone must hurt young trans folks.  Decency and reality doesn't seem to be in the GOP's vocabulary.   Hugs,   Charlize

Good morning all,    It’s a frosty morning here the lawn looks silvery, and the uncovered spring flowers have icy edges on their leaves. The only flower bed I covered was my tulips. As nice as it is here during the day, our clear wind free nights allow the temperatures to drop into the mid twenties. Here in our growing zone it’s recommended that you not plant delicate plants until Mother’s Day. Central Indiana can have snow as late as the third week of May. The birds are active at the feeders, I’ve had my cup of yoghurt and morning meds. So I’ll sit here, drink coffee and watch the as the sunrise chases the frost from the yard.    @awkward-yet-sweet I could eat black eyed peas as a side for every meal. Boil them plain or with fatback. Served as a leftover, just add in a little Rotel Original Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies.  Make the best of your day,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Morning, y'all. Evening here; we had the regulation three mugs full today. Now it's time to drink something else.     No big plans here either, eldest daughter and granddaughter will be arriving on Saturday, and we will have our granddaughter to ourselves for a week after that. We still have plans though. Tuesday we'll go to the swim center, Wednesday we'll take a road trip to visit my mom, Thursday we'll get some mulch delivered to top up the gardens.   I still make other small plans on a daily basis though. The things I do plan nowadays, which is a bit new for me, is that after pinching a nerve and ending up in a bit of pain and getting some treatment from the physio, I am more motivated than ever to exercise more regularly. Tuesday for example, I went for a short (15 minute) early morning walk, went to the pool for some hydrotherapy, and mowed the lawns. Yesterday I did my exercise reps and spent some time on the exercise bike. Today, I went for a 45-minute walk, tomorrow I will do my reps again and go for a long bike ride. As long as I do at least one thing every day, right? The pleasing thing is that I'm losing weight! I blew out to above 95kg early in the year and I'm just under 91kg now. Yay me!

What one piece of advice would you give to beginning transitioners or considering transition?

Positive side of the mixed bag.

Boredom is an emotional state that comes when a person has nothing to do, and is not interested in anything. To stop boredom, most people do something to occupy or amuse themselves. The first known use of the word boredom is in the novel Bleak House by Charles Dickens, written in 1852, but the saying to be a bore had been used to mean "to be tiresome or dull" since 1768. When referring to the mind, boredom is a bad state in which the person feels a deep lack of interest in what is going on around them, and where it is hard to focus.
