OK thought I'd post about this, cuz it was quite funny really

To repeat myself... I had my first laser hair removal appointment today

They'd lost my paperwork, which wasn't a good start, but then we finally got going. And it hurts! Test patch made me flinch, but this, with so many bursts in quick succession... I was gripping the chair tightly and squealing slightly. We had to stop halfway because the nurse was laughing. I was like, "What?"

"It's just the noises you make..."

"Surely other people make noises too?"

"Yes, but not like that!"

Sort of like a quiet "eeeeeeeeeeeeee" She told me afterwards I was probably one of her funniest patients :S

But I could barely stop smiling the entire time. I was a bit iffy beforehand - is this too soon? Will I regret this? But when she started zapping, I was thinking, yes! Finally, it's going to be gone!

I started laughing at one point, so she had to stop again. "What?"

"I don't know, it hurts so much but I'm so happy "

Just seemed so comical, me sitting and squealing and grinning widely at the same time. (I'm not masochistic!)

Can't wait for it to start falling out and the redness has gone already!
