Hi,

I am still thinking about my body weight know and as a girl. To look "normal" I need to lose 10kg. As I calculate that this is possible by losing muscle weight and increasing body fat. But that is fiction and what is real? So I want to ask all the MTF here with finished transition about there experience and results.

Thanks in advanced for your information.

Greetings

The best way to lose weight is to gain muscle. Do toning exercises so you don't bulk up, but instead increase the muscle density.

Muscle burns energy like crazy, so your metabolism will increase and you'll be able to eat anything without worry! bwahahahaaaa! On top of that, the fat will fall off and you'll be left thin and sexxy!

Being 19yo pre-HRT, I can't relate to how the hormones affect anything, but I used to weigh 280 pounds and now am 100 pounds lighter, so I know a little bit about diet and exercise...

I can't recommend you stop moving to lose weight, that's not good for anyone or anything!

Hello Daru,

it is clear for me that I will not get the perfect female body weight for my body size. What I have done was to set my actual weight and calculate this body into a female body with same BMI. Or on other hand I calculate by using the different parts of the body ( fat and muscles) take this amount and recalculate it to the percentage of a female body. Both give me the result of losing 10kg. My idea was not to change lifestyle by doing hard diet. I know that appetit is changing with HRT and I heared that a lot of MTF person increase body wait because everything taste so good now. So disciplin is important.

Once I will start with hard ( I do not know yet) I will do toning exercises as I do now.

Greetings

IMO the only people who need to do hardcore dieting are those who don't REALLY need to lose weight, or those who have eating problems. For the rest of the moderately overweight "(un?)normal" people, eating MORE is better! Not only do you lose weight, but you feel full all the time!

For the rest of us, not eating much/anything will just make us fatter.

Our bodies go, "Uhoh! It doesn't seem like I'm getting much energy lately! I better hold onto anything I do get just in case times get worse for me!"

We want our bodies to go, "Sweet, we're getting a consistent supply of nutrients, I'm feeling great and I can waste lots of energy on little things to make myself feel even better!"

Maybe I'll write a paper and introduce a new Fad diet to the world. The only difference is that mine will let you eat cake, lol... and you wont be forced to eat burgers without the bun.

I am reading the Project 2025 document https://www.project2025.org/policy/   This will take some time.  I read the forward and I want to read it again later.   I read some criticism of it outside here and I will be looking for it in the light of what has been posted here and there.  Some of the criticism is bosh.   @MaeBe have you read the actual document?

      No problem!

Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).

Good morning everyone,   It’s Thursday well as least I took my Thursday Medications as sorted out in my weekly dispensary caddy. Today’s coffee is Folgers Breakfast Blend served HOT, black and strong. My wife and I are going to explore the Western and Southern coasts of Saginaw Bay and hang out in Bay City, MI. today.    @Willowonce @Abigail Genevievepointed out the word usage in your post. I read it and laughed, enjoying the snarky tone of the comment. Since it was spelled correctly I thought maybe you meant for it to read just as you typed it. Then the kinder gentler me thought it would be better if I changed it. I’m not saying I corrected it, I just changed the severity of the sentence.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
