Talk About Passable!

I'm transitioning at work and I don't start living full time until January, but my hair has grown out to shoulder length.

Anyway, I'm a housekeeper in a hospital and 2 of the male patients have crushes on me. One said he almost asked me to marry him and the other offered to give me his heart.

When I go out to eat....not even "enfemme" so to speak...men stare at me and check me out.

I'm not wearing any shirts cut for women or sporting purse or even makeup.

Anyone else have this before they went full time?

It's a good feeling and tells me that I'm physically ready and I'm more passable than I think. Still, can't wait to go at in January.

Heck yeah, marriage proposals?, live organs donated?, you pass Your therapist might not be clockin you yet but sounds like "full time" is any time at this point and thats really what you want Congratulations.

From your picture, I'd say congratulations you're already there! When I had my hair longer, I had taken my mother to lunch and the waitress approached from the back and asked, "What would you ladies like?" I was still wearing a mustache at the time (trying my best to look male) so when she got to the front she looked startled. I went to my first therapy session with the mustache and looking like I always did and the first thing she asked me was, "How have you managed to pass as masculine?" I have been 'ma'ammed' at restaraunts a lot.

I guess we are just lucky now. When I was determined to be a boy like everyone thought I was looking like I do was a curse - now having embraced me as myself a female, my baby face and lack of secondary male indicators is a blessing.

Totaly passable, Congrats.

I have been full time for about 1.5 years, maybe a little more. But I have been ma-amed alot. I think that I get sired a lot more now after starting HRT and going full time witch is a bummer big time, I have to correct them.

I was with my mother one day walking out of a 7 11 one day I was driving my mother around, before going full time, There was a cashier standing out side taking a smoke break. as we were gitting in my car the gal turned and looked at us and said "You ladies have a good day."

Got in the car my mother looked at me and said "Only your friends would call you a ladie," My only replie was "I do not know that Girl, I dont come in here maybe once a year maybe, and I get that in a lot of places."

To say the least she was not happy at all.

I also have a fear of going in to the womens restroom, (self confidince) but early this morning I was in Palisades about 20 miles east of Grand Junction. I have been working alot this past week with my work and also helping a friend lay concrete at here Grannys house. Did not have time for a shower. I walked in to the truck stop and I asked for a shower. With out saying a word she handed me the key and said that the shower is in the ladies restroom. Did not even realize that they only had 2 showers, 1 in the mens room and 1 in the ladies.

I get "Can I get you ladies something to drink?" when my wife and I go out to eat. It's really, REALLY cool. Feels good.
