I rarely find a song as moving as this one has been for me. I hope anyone that listens to it feels the same.

To wake up and find this song here while still lying in bed was perfect.

Gino Vannelli, Humble Pie, Mott, hormones, shopping, electrolysis...I'm liking my new friends.

I'm glad you like Gino, Ann. I'll warn you now, my music is all over the place. Maybe you'll enjoy this one.

New friends and new adventures. That sounds like a wonderful time.

I have "breakfast with the Beatles" streaming now, and this particular favorite came on this morning, it's Paul's sliding notes that just resonate so well with me....

Our band does it and it is one of my favorite bass lines to do - that and Hey Bulldog and With a Little Help From My Friends and Something....

@Heather Nicole I agree Chuck Mangione is wonderful.

My selection for today is ..... it just makes my feel soothed and at peace ... it may be weird but I queue it up every Easter morning as it transports me back to a very peaceful time in my life and I love reliving that moment.....

There's a lot of great music being posted here I never would have known about. I'm especially enjoying the smooth mellowness of "It's a beautiful day today" and "are you bored yet?". The "Mansionair" one is nice too and I especially like the visuals it has. Always love a good, creative music video. (The Chemical Brothers have some of the best music videos I've ever seen in that regard, imo. And almost any music video directed by Spike Jonze.)

Old and In the Way.  I may or may not be making some rye whiskey today so it's a bluegrass day.

There was a band in the late 60s call Its a Beautiful Day.

I saw them in 1970 just where I don't remember lol.

Having lived in Michigan just south of Detroit I was visiting old friends and we went  and caught an outdoor show with this band SRC that opened for the MC5 It was a blast.

I still have an SRC album - Traveler's Tale. I also have the first two The Frost albums - loved Mystery Man and I saw the band with Dick Wagner (became guitarist and writer with later Alice Cooper projects). They headlined a festival in Toledo Ohio when In a Gadda Da Vida was a big song and the festival started at noon with a bunch of local bands and EVERY SINGLE ONE played the long version of In a Gadda Da Vida. Thank God when The Frost finally came on and blew the doors out with excellent music.

This is a bit random for listening not so much a song but a person playing drums .. Dorothea Taylor, i dont know much about here apart from that she's a drummer and has been for 50+ years.
