Linda Marie, There are so many soundtracks to our lives!!  Even the mundane activities!

This morning my meditation teach just had us all laugh together for two minutes. I needed that. And if you need it too, listening to this: "JUST LAUGHING" - a Mindfulness Meditation

This one is for our Texan blues rockers.

If you watch the video you will see Johnny Winter's tour bus pass

the next up coming Texan blues guitarist.

Sadly both have passed away, but left behind magic.

Both artists influenced me on my style.

I'm going back to Texas again.

La Grange, do any know the song is about a -lovely person- house

called the Chicken Ranch just outside of La Grange, TX.

When I lived in Austin, TX I wasn't far from LA Grange.

My cat with a number of different names wanting crunchies. Today, he is being called Pipes for the amazing bagpipe meow that he has.
Recently, I found that I like listening to audio dramas from QCode and a few other independent dramas. Here is my current list:

Borrasca

Blackout

Last Known Position

Derelict

Old Gods of Appalachia

These podcasts have been great for me when I am driving home from work or repainting the rooms in the house. Sometimes they are a little to tense.

Will someone please tell me how to post a video?

Just find a music video on youtube, copy the link, create a new post in the feed and paste the video.

I've been addicted to the wonderful world of post-punk and industrial, lately. Especially classics like The Cure, Clan of Xymox, The Sisters of Mercy, and Depeche Mode as well as more overlooked talents like And One.

I'm impressed! I first learned about And One some years ago when my brother told me about them (Because he had a friend who was into them and he thought it sounded like my kind of thing. He was right). But you're the first person I come across since then who's also knows about And One.

The Cure is just iconic, of course. And speaking of Sisters of Mercy, I always loved their song "More". Soooo good, with that main riff and the piano behind it and everything!!

Good stuff! I appreciate your written intro.

This topic reminds me of the lyrics to the Beatles song, "A Little Help From My Friends."   "What do you see when you turn out the lights?"   "I can't tell you but I know it's mine."   Carolyn Marie

@Ivy have you read the actual document?   Has anyone else out there read it?
    • Abigail Genevieve
I am reading the Project 2025 document https://www.project2025.org/policy/   This will take some time.  I read the forward and I want to read it again later.   I read some criticism of it outside here and I will be looking for it in the light of what has been posted here and there.  Some of the criticism is bosh.   @MaeBe have you read the actual document?

      *older, not holder, oops :P
    • Abigail Genevieve
      No problem!

Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).

      I think I lost a friend :(

I will have arrived when I have a b*tch certificate of my own.  I think someone called me one once.

That’s fantastic Lorelei. I’m so happy for you.   Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
