I just can't eat food anymore

It makes mefeel sick the vast majority of the time. I don't know why. I have been eating yougert there after, and it hels some. In the end juat don't feel like eating. So I go for a while not eating. And sometimes I binge, only to make me feel sick. It is more so for greasy foods, but also when I eat red meat. Chicken is usually fine. And so I have been focusing on sweeter stuff that does not make me fwel like crap. I only eat small ammounts in acceptable quantities though.

I feel like I have done this t myself by slowly eliminating eating lots of stuff. I just hate eating, and either don'5 do it or do it too much. Over the past month or two it has neted to a loss of 10 pounds, and it seems fairly normal, not like the twenty pounds I lost in a week when I became depressed.

I do not throw up, but feel physically sick allot of the time.

And now I fear the opposite of the freshman 15. I am worried that will become more aneorexic because of my disagreeing stomach.

Going mostly vegitarian might help. I don't like meat too much. (Though oddly I enjoy philly cheesesteaks from jims in philly) However I don't know how to convince myself to eat enough. I am frugal, so I have tried to exploit that trait, sucessfully to some end.

I do enjoy food though, just not the stomach pains.

I am now getting vertigo when I stand way too much, and my counselor said it was because of lack of protien, which makes sense. Though I lied to her about my eating habits.

Beans have protien, but what else?

But yeah, my pressure to eat food goes way down now that I am about to move out. Both at my new home and college.

I fear this will lead me down a bad path. And I don't know if I will be able to stop it.

I know I won't, unless something radical happens.

Hi Natalie, :)

It is not uncommon for eating properly to get out of control. Most of us have problems like that.

I would recommend researching nutrition and how the body works. Learn about the different proteins, carbohydrates, and fats and how your body uses them. Going more vegetarian is always a good idea. I've been reading about this and working on going more vegetarian myself. You might try eating smaller meals more often during the day and see if that works better. You should add a portion of protein and of a carbohydrate, plus a small amount of fat in every meal. Try eating small meals 4 or 5 times a day if possible.

BTW beans (a legume) are a very good source of protein.

Good Luck

I heard that the whole vegetarian diet thing is way better for you than a "normal" diet. Maybe try some tofu or something - I hate it personally but you never know.

Maybe try "eat your way through the pain". Similar to how the thought of vomiting is way worse than the actual process. Could work? At least you'd be getting food in you that way.

My "problem" is that I can't bear the thought of eating the same thing twice in a row. I'd rather not eat at all than have the same thing for lunch and breakfast. Maybe you should add some variety to your meals? Thinking about what you said about vertigo, I get that too... *gulp*. Actually, rereading the whole post, you seem remarkably similar to me - I'm living off yogurt and ice cream.

I think that was me thinking out loud more than helpful advice. Oh well, sorry.

Hugs,

Holly

I can't diagnose your problems because I am not a Dr, but as an anorexic it sounds a lot like you are heade in the wrong direction.you need to seek help from an Eating Disorder specialist. They will be the best informed with how to help you. It doesn't sound to me that you are happy about your narrowing field of food options and that you want to get back to where you were able to eate whatever comfortably. Becoming a vegitarian for these reasons will not solve your underlining problems and will only delay treatment.

Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).

Good morning everyone,   It’s Thursday well as least I took my Thursday Medications as sorted out in my weekly dispensary caddy. Today’s coffee is Folgers Breakfast Blend served HOT, black and strong. My wife and I are going to explore the Western and Southern coasts of Saginaw Bay and hang out in Bay City, MI. today.    @Willowonce @Abigail Genevievepointed out the word usage in your post. I read it and laughed, enjoying the snarky tone of the comment. Since it was spelled correctly I thought maybe you meant for it to read just as you typed it. Then the kinder gentler me thought it would be better if I changed it. I’m not saying I corrected it, I just changed the severity of the sentence.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
