Magic THe Gathering

Anyone play Magic? It's one of my favorite games and currently my only social interaction away from my family (I moved at the begining of summer). What kind of decks do you use. My current best is a mono-black exalted deck centered around Nefarox.

I used to play it a lot. We'd get togather at a coffee shop and take over a big table playing for hours. Lots of fun.

I had a "He dies, she dies, everybody dies" deck. I don't recall the exact names of the cards but there were Black preists that could turn artifacts into Black Mana, several other black mana batteries and such that I put togather all to fuel a Pestilance card. I once Pestilanced a whole table 30 some odd points of damage... I died. But so did everyone else... Bwahahahahaha!!!!

I played it for a bit once. It's been mentioned here before. I forget where but if I remember correctly Lizzie, Dee Jay, and I think Sally picked it up for a bit and then dropped it.

I was never any good and I dropped it after a while.

I really liked the lorwyn and eventide block just because of the fairy tale-ish theme. I was actually so ignorant of celtic folklore that I didn't even know what a kelpie was around 2008 and I picked up a kelpie card from eventide so I just had to know what it was referring to. I couldn't resist looking it up.

I often find that the numorous references used in games like those interest me as much as if not more than the game itself.

used to play this sooo much ages ago lol. Loved my black/green decks. Mishra's factory into a 2/2 assembly worker, dropping rancor on it for 2/0 more and trample, then at end of turn the worker reverts back to a land, rancor falls off, hits graveyard, returns to hand to do it again next round was a fav play haha..

Sol ring, masticore, contagion were also some fav cards. Retired the cards ages ago and now just play Rift MMO
