Should I be concerned

Okay so first of all my hair is longer now than it's been since I was 5. So that may be the reason I am noticing this a lot more now. But about two or three weeks ago I started using this John Freida calming cream because my hair is extremely curly. And I've noticed that when I'm rubbing this stuff into my hair when I'm done and look at my hands there's about 8-10 hairs on my hands. When I comb my hair (which I do at least 10 times a day because of how stubborn my hair is) each time I lose probably about 5 hairs. And when I do shampoo I lose about 4 or 5 hairs. I think I may just be paranoid though because I've heard the average person loses about 100 hairs each day. If you were in my shoes would you stop using this calming creme or am I just worrying too much?

Aw, sweety, I use nothing but Suave shampoo and conditioner a couple of times a week. I've had long hair now for more of my life that I had short hair. I joke all the time about me shedding more than all 5 of my cats combined. And it has been that way for me for years now and I still have a head full of hair. It aint nothin' worth botherin' yourself about. :)

I had long hair for any years, and from recollection, had similar issues.

If you are concern3d, stop using the product and see if your perception from washing and brushing is the same. If so... no worries then :)

I think the reason that I get those hairs in my hand when I apply the calming creme is because my hair is very thick so the hairs that do naturally come out of my head may get stuck in the rest of the hairs so when I put the cream in and gently work it through my hands get those hairs stuck on it that were already lose.

As I recall I had similar amounts of shedding hair before this cream. When I put in shampoo and I think I shed even more when I combed it then. Probably because the cream makes it easier to comb. So yeah I think I'm just being too worried.

Shedding is normal, people shed on average 50-100 hairs per day, there is also breakage and such as well to account for..As long as your not getting huge clumps you're basically good.

I don't just 5 or 6 hairs here and there it's really only when I'm putting the cream in my hair. Combing it nowadays may shed one or two when I comb it now. Never seen clumps coming out. Was just concerned because I've never noticed it like this before although I have been shaving my head the last 5 or 6 years for some weird reason.

Well yesterday didn't work like I wanted to. I met a guy and started talking and he was wanting to be in a relationship. I asked my kids on how they thought of me dating a man and they said gross and said no. I guess it's time to look for women. I think that is going to be harder. Oh well I guess.

This topic reminds me of the lyrics to the Beatles song, "A Little Help From My Friends."   "What do you see when you turn out the lights?"   "I can't tell you but I know it's mine."   Carolyn Marie

@Ivy have you read the actual document?   Has anyone else out there read it?
    • Abigail Genevieve
I am reading the Project 2025 document https://www.project2025.org/policy/   This will take some time.  I read the forward and I want to read it again later.   I read some criticism of it outside here and I will be looking for it in the light of what has been posted here and there.  Some of the criticism is bosh.   @MaeBe have you read the actual document?

Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).
