People who are intersexed have so many challenges and so much to figure out about themselves. I wish you luck in furthering your journey of self-discovery!

Liz Marie, How true those words and thoughts. We do have a ton of challenges, but never a dull moment. And, no matter our age,our jouney of self-discovery is always evolving.

Wow. So nice to meet you. I'm on a smaller spectrum, Make do with what I can, so to speak.

They should! I don't see why not, it is pretty common.

I would just reply that, if your "creator" didn't do such a lousy job I would have been "knit" as the right gender in the first place. The creator has a pretty bad track record, given all the health problems that may be present due to birth issues, and cannot be trusted. Also the idea of someone being physically knit together is just gross.

Dear wonderful trans people,  I am currently away from home with a lot of people I do not know and will never see again. So I would like to practice my coming out skills (before going back to work and coming out there - so I would like to collect good experiences if possible). I only came out last year to friends and family, am pre everything but already use a male name and pronouns (I am AFAB), officially here as well (but only the staff knows). So what would be good ways to come out to someone I happen to sit across the lunch table? Any good phrases that you could recommend? What were your best "casual" coming outs? How do I keep it from sounding sad or negative?  Thanks a lot for sharing your experiences / ideas 🙂

I just called a speech therapist and they want a referral from my doctor so I’m hoping my endocrinologist will send them a referral.

I don't have a significant other so I did all this on my own. I've had a lot of pleasant experiences with it, but it was nice to have the support of work, family, and friends. Shopping for the clothes I wanted for the first time was exhilarating. Recieving the court order for my name was a very emotional time too.

Yeah there is no way I could do it on my own, it's really hard to change.

The main issue is with the "baseline" of the voice that helps with the gendering. As you probably learned already, just going into the higher pitch will not change the perception (or first impression) of where your voice started. It would appear that a lot of us had to learn to use deeper voice in the attempt to fit in better, but ultimately it was still overlaying on the same base. And so the main point of re-learning  now is how to modify the baseline. I am about to start on the whole voice training, but from all the videos one thing becomes clear - you need a human feedback (or be EXTREMELY critical to your own recordings and understand what to change) to tailor the exercises to improve.

I have watched Rose and Blair.  I am subscribed to Blair, although I seldom watch her now.  What I have seen lately seems more like a tabloid.  She seems to want to stir up controversy to get hits.  But still, she is kinda cute, if young.  I do follow Natalie though.  I began my transition around the same time, so there was that.  And her content is pretty good if lengthly.  And yes, she is gorgeous as well.

Gosh, My biggest pleasant surprise. So many to choose from. Which category?  I mean like there are so many to cover here...get what I mean? So about that time my amazon order actually fit. Yep that was nice. Emmm, my first stimulus check...yep, bought 2 new dresses.... That night, late at night, that sound.....my stomach.... so I tip toe to the kitchen and....yes....both milk in the fridge and special k in the pantry.... This one will sound really weird ....  My wife and I covid shots. Expecting 2-4 hours and in an out in 30 minutes!!!!!!!! So far this year....covid shot #1
