New to this forum, Saying Hello

Hello all, I'm Samantha and new to this forum.

For now I'm a closeted CD, still trying to figure if going out dressed

is something I want to do. I think it might be fun as long as I don't get

pointed and laughed at. I would like to take a longer walk in heels than the length

of my house. My feet may hurt but it might be worth it. ;)

I started dressing in small stages around age 11-12. Pantyhose were my gateway

drug to CDing. I'm a leg person for sure !! I never was fully dressed until age 27

head to toe. Had one pair of heels & one crappy wig for about 20 years.

Last year something changed for me I just had enough of getting by with the limited girl

stash I had. I really wanted to all in and see what I could make of myself.

Nothing permanent mind you, If I can't take it off at the end of the day it's not for me.

This forum seems like another well run help site, I'm not looking for hookups or CD Transgender

sex sites. Glad there are decent places on the internet to help each other.

That's all for now, thanks for reading

 Samantha

Hi Samantha,

Welcome, it's always good to see another CD on the site. Our stories are very similar and we are at the same point. I haven't been out of the house dressed, but it's coming soon I hope. Meanwhile I go for the full effect if I've got time - Makeup, breastforms, outer and under garments, shoes, wig, etc. Seems like all I want to do is live this way. I have an appointment for a make over and fashion consult Sunday with a professional (I'm so excited I can't stand it) and I'm hoping that will be the last hurdle to being able to put myself together enough to feel confident going out.

Hope you enjoy it here, I've gotten so much out of connecting with others like me.

Hugs,

Courtney

Hi Samantha, Welcome to laura's. You are not alone. Finding a site where i wasn't an object of desire and could talk about my issues with dressing and gender has been so helpful i n growing past the shame and fear i had lived with all my life.

Enjoy.

Hugs,

Charlize

This topic reminds me of the lyrics to the Beatles song, "A Little Help From My Friends."   "What do you see when you turn out the lights?"   "I can't tell you but I know it's mine."   Carolyn Marie

@Ivy have you read the actual document?   Has anyone else out there read it?
    • Abigail Genevieve
I am reading the Project 2025 document https://www.project2025.org/policy/   This will take some time.  I read the forward and I want to read it again later.   I read some criticism of it outside here and I will be looking for it in the light of what has been posted here and there.  Some of the criticism is bosh.   @MaeBe have you read the actual document?

      *older, not holder, oops :P
    • Abigail Genevieve
      No problem!

Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).

      I think I lost a friend :(

I will have arrived when I have a b*tch certificate of my own.  I think someone called me one once.

That’s fantastic Lorelei. I’m so happy for you.   Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
