Tickets for the Seattle event are $40 to $500. That's a show stopper for me.

It would probably be interesting if not for the price. Now please don't get me wrong I have no objections to someone trying to make a few dollars but come on now. Our community is overwhelmed by financial issues. In the therapy groups I attend I am actually one of the more fortunate ones financially since I have a steady job with good health insurance. I am also not out at work for fear of losing my job. There are people in my group that cannot afford there HRT meds at times. It breaks my heart to hear how these friends are struggling. The more I think about this, the more it bothers me. Think I will leave it at that.

It seems to me this crew of which she's a part of makes a living out of being tabloid worthy.

No thanks, TV, speaking engagements, I call it saturation. It's so far removed from the real life of a transwoman in america, what could possibly come of value from listening to this, let alone pay for it ?

Rather than a series of paid public speeches for her show, her time would be better spent talking with Republican legislators in states where they are fostering anti-trans laws or fighting laws to protect trans folk or give rights to trans students. She doesn't need to be "preaching to the choir," she needs to be changing hearts and minds. I doubt you'll be seeing her do any of that.
