The little things

I do like the sight of lipstick on the cup. I also enjoyed being able to "brand" a friend who was giving me trouble about being me. I made sure my lipstick was fresh and not blotted before planting one on his cheek.

At different times i enjoy different things. I love the scent of Patchouli as it lingers on a scarf. I still enjoy a special evening out and dressing to the nines but often i also find little things are the most poignant. They remind me of the simple joy of being me in the world.

Hugs,

Charlize

Have a smooth, almost hairless body, below thehead. Started with chest, tummy and groin, just finished my legs and underarms. Feels so incredible.

One of mine is feeling the cooling breeze on my legs when out in a skirt in the hot summer

That electric feeling you get when pulling on pantyhose. Tracy_i already mentioned a cool breeze when your wearing a skirt. Remembering to smooth your skirt when sitting down without having to think about it just like a genetic girl would. The smell of a fresh coat of nailpolish or lipstick. The feeling of my favourite sweater against my skin especially the way the faux fur lined hood tickles my ears (one of the things that originally drew me to women's clothes was the textures. I have been wearing men's clothes all my life and I have not found once article of clothing that felt pleasurable against my skin. They weren't always uncomfortable, but they were never better than neutral. Women's clothing on the other hand.... Sorry for the digression). The way some skirts twirl whenever you turn around in them. The click of high heels on a hard surface.

Robinmaybe..My feelings as well but then all of the girls have pointed out the things that I love. I love looking at freshly painted toe nails and wiggling them.

Robinmaybe..... You hit on a lot of the things that make our lives a pleasure. All of the girls have pointed out the little things we love. One of mine is freshly painted toe nails. I love wiggling them.

I love lipstick on the coffee cup too! I also love sleeping in a slip, the feeling of panties and pantyhose under jeans, and putting on earrings!

hugs!

Yeah, I agree!

Finally finished slowly moving through the various body parts like that, and it is amazing. My favorite part about that, though I hate doing it and all the time it takes, is getting to see and know my body better. That bit of time before a shower, when I take the moment to really be one with my own skin and body and concentrate on what I am doing -- that is priceless.

When being a guy every day, I would rush through my morning routine, because I didn't want to deal with my body at all. Now, I can see every line, imperfection, and all that is good around my form. Everything is right there, and I am getting to know it all kinda like for the first time. It's a bit weird I guess, but I have enjoyed that aspect of the hair removal chore.

Hey Maggie, welcome on board! Why don't start an introduction post? We'd love to hear about you.

Totally agree Lisa! Find myself pulling my bra strap up when I underdress at work without even thinking about it when I am talking to people. Oh, what they must think!

Oh, and makeup in the sink!

Well yesterday didn't work like I wanted to. I met a guy and started talking and he was wanting to be in a relationship. I asked my kids on how they thought of me dating a man and they said gross and said no. I guess it's time to look for women. I think that is going to be harder. Oh well I guess.

I don't have anything in my dress pocket

This topic reminds me of the lyrics to the Beatles song, "A Little Help From My Friends."   "What do you see when you turn out the lights?"   "I can't tell you but I know it's mine."   Carolyn Marie

@Ivy have you read the actual document?   Has anyone else out there read it?
    • Abigail Genevieve
I am reading the Project 2025 document https://www.project2025.org/policy/   This will take some time.  I read the forward and I want to read it again later.   I read some criticism of it outside here and I will be looking for it in the light of what has been posted here and there.  Some of the criticism is bosh.   @MaeBe have you read the actual document?

      No problem!

Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).
