Could It Be Klinefelter's?

Hello A/all.

I was diagnosed when I was 16yrs young with Klienfelter's Syndrome. Funny how 'we' found out. I had a physical in high school where the doctor noticed that I was under developed down below. (trying to keep it clean). was then referred to my family doctor who then referred me to a specialist. This was back in the mid 80's. Long story short I was put on testosterone therapy. It was a pain in the butt (no pun intended). I was also asked if I wanted to have my mammory glands removed. I remember telling the Doctor that I wanted to wait see what the future had to say. At the time I had no idea there where transgenders in the world. I didn't start having puberty until I was around 18 or 19. Many years later I met someone who opened my eyes to who I might truly be. I stopped taking testosterone and started estrogen. No blockers needed. My body doesn't produce enough "t". I started transitioning in 2016. 

I was living a lie for too long, and it has made my life very complicated. So now I am a mostly female individual. 

 

On a different note...For those who say there are only 2 sexes/genders, here is the true science. Explain XXY. Not a fad, nor chosen, but a reality.

Welcome @JennieDraegonthis is one place where we DO BELIEVE you and YES there are a whole bunch of combination of the "nominal" sex hormones, surprise, but it it not the Y chromosome by it self that sets off male genital development, it is a smaller entity known as the SRy gene that should get the credit or blame.  You have many siblings in the XXY family who are Trans and have had your history.  Welcome to a place we try to keep for you and others.  Intersex is very real, and Klinefelters is not discussed enough where it should be.

My parents support me. When I told my Mom about what I believed myself to be, she did some research for me. I was in a place where I didn't have access to that information. My Mom is also the one who gave me my name. She told me that had I been born a girl (which I kinda was) they were going to call me Jennifer Leigh. I told her it was perfect. Now all I have to do is get it legally changed.
