This may be a strange question, but what type of swimwear do most of us use. I like the one peace,  swim dress  my self. Love the way they fit and the look of them.

I'm not the type to wear swimwear but I understand that either one or two piece suits with a skirt is discrete enough to be comfortable in.

I have thoughts of wearing a bikini with swim skirt, but unless I lose a little weight the one piece with skirt is the only real practical option. I had one last year but never had the opportunity to wear it (I don't go swimming so it would be on a visit to the seaside).

Realistically, the best thing I think is not to attract too much attention. At my age, unless I look slim it would be silly to attract attention, whereas being slightly overweight is Ok with a one piece (typically worn by someone my age :D ).

I am looking forward to an outing this year

I wear a one piece that has a skirted bottom, mainly for modesty to better hide 'that thing'. I was just thinking about how I've had this suit for years and maybe I should look into another one. It's kind of old lady-ish.

Mine is a one piece, I think I posted a pic of me in it in the Marcie Chronicles.

One piece swim dress as well.  The problem with it is that in a pool, the skirt floats up to my boobs, showing the panty under the skirt which hugs my back end all too well.

Lol, yep! Once in the water, it's kind of useless. Luckily I tuck extra with a thong, so I'm about 75% confident things will stay in place. And I'm always paranoid about the suit giving me a wedgie!

All this talk of swimwear prompted me to try one option on.

Last year I made my own bikini bottoms which I designed as a cross between skimpy male trunks and female bikini bottoms, the idea being that bikini bottoms don't cover male parts well and male trunks do not aid tucking. I also made a matching seperate swim skirt. Neither would pass very close inspection but all my own work!  Anyone who has tried, will understand stretchy material is not easy to work with.

The next idea was to make a matching bikini top, but I have never got much beyond the start.

Anyway I tried the bottoms and skirt on today along with a contrasting tankini top I have. It works well. Now to lose a little weight :D x

I am reading the Project 2025 document https://www.project2025.org/policy/   This will take some time.  I read the forward and I want to read it again later.   I read some criticism of it outside here and I will be looking for it in the light of what has been posted here and there.  Some of the criticism is bosh.   @MaeBe have you read the actual document?

      No problem!

Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).

Good morning everyone,   It’s Thursday well as least I took my Thursday Medications as sorted out in my weekly dispensary caddy. Today’s coffee is Folgers Breakfast Blend served HOT, black and strong. My wife and I are going to explore the Western and Southern coasts of Saginaw Bay and hang out in Bay City, MI. today.    @Willowonce @Abigail Genevievepointed out the word usage in your post. I read it and laughed, enjoying the snarky tone of the comment. Since it was spelled correctly I thought maybe you meant for it to read just as you typed it. Then the kinder gentler me thought it would be better if I changed it. I’m not saying I corrected it, I just changed the severity of the sentence.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
