Good luck Jackie.  And wife :(

Kiera the Amazozanity has probably been helping my shape!  No 'bots where I'm at either.

Plus I'm lucky!!  Was running up to five miles/day over the covid summer.  Barefoot, til I got yelled at by a neighbor who thinks he's my boss...

Have good support shoes now (thru aMaz0n of course)

Good morning

Chafing in the summer heat? Sounds like there will be tights and nylons in my future. Feel free to try to look up my skirt you're in for a surprise. I also don't feel a need for pockets. They don't hold that much anyways.  I've been carrying a bag for the last couple of years.

I'll pray for you that this is as far as it goes.

Aye Matey! I was down to 165lbs back when I was wresting with passengers and loosing their baggage! lol Add gallons of "kool-aide" plus jet blast in 100+ heat and it does wonders for sweating out those otherwise dry, clogged up skin pores.

That was around the time I finally quit "spiro" watched others collapse, was literally (almost) passing out myself!

@Jackie C. Hoping you and your wife both test negative. How scary... I'm keeping you both in my thoughts!

Pockets are overrated - bags are where it's at. Also, I feel like if I'm passing well enough to tempt someone to look up my skirt, then I'm doing something right and I'll take it as a compliment.

My appointment is in two hours. Hoping for the best! Have a wonderful day everyone. ❤️

Crap. I had written a long response but was trying to correct a spelling and touched my picture.  Lost  it all.  Abbreviated responses:

@Jackie C. i hope you are both negative.  Contact tracing we could all have to quarantine right here.

Sorry i dont know what breast tingles are.  I have constant bruise like discomfort under my aureoles.

I dont have wide swings on shots.  Likely because i also take progesterone daily.

Now ill try to figure out what ive missed.

Good morning everyone,

The coffee is still HOT, black and strong.

We have two cat additions to our family this week. The cat in the isolation cage is Amy, her name at the time of adoption was Mazikeen, and we're not bringing a SheDevil into our home. She's caged because she has a respiratory infection and is on medication. The cat not caged is Sheldon and he currently has run of the house. They are both 6 months old and Humane Society adoptions. We had two cats for 17 years who were litter mates and they died within a few months of each other. The first was Hamlet, and he had cancer, the second was Puck, and we believe he died of a broken heart. Puck was never very vocal and once Hamlet was gone Puck would walk through the house moaning for Hamlet. It was hard to see them go. So now we're three years past and have these two to add some extra joy and entertainment to the house. To quote my Suzie: "Amy and Sheldon have been a BIG BANG for us in 2021.

Hugs,

Mindy???

Hi again

went back through the prior posts and i dont think i failed to comment on very much.

I normally view and comment using my iPad.  Well it died on me in Virginia. And i dont mean battery.  So ive been using an old MacBook Air that has died an$ been resurrected twice or my phone. The computer battery is weak and doesn’t last and its hard for me to get my fingers in the correct place on the small phon screen.  New iPad arrives some time tomorrow.  It is slightly larger than my last one and 4 years newer.  I think the dead one was dropped too many times.

Life goes on.  I use my ipad more than my phone or computer.  And i use it on my boat for navigation and weather.  It connects all my systems together. Or will when i get a nmea 0183 to USB converter.  For computer geeks thats the old 422 serial interface.

Well Willow has house work to do.  She is out of the closet today for the first time since mid December.

Speaking of closets, i have to rebuild ours the day we were packing for Virginia it decided to collapse.

Wish me luck!

I was also exposed at work recently via a member of our delivery staff. Only a small portion of the people exposed were told, but HR is denying it to the rest of staff. I am so angry, but I will spare everyone here my ranting. Anyway, I hope your tests come back negative and you feel better soon.

The pockets are mainly just for my phone at work. I have a regular handbag I use to carry all my stuff when I'm out and about.

More hot chocolate coffee and stress this morning. My one partner is sick with what we hope it is a cold or sinus infection. He just feels regular sick and doesn't have any unusual symptoms. He does work in the same building as the person HR denies has COVID (despite the email I received quite clearly stating that person does have it). If he gets any worse I will make sure he goes and gets tested, but he's already been tested at least 3 separate times. He's just prone to getting sick especially when under stress.

Good morning all...so much to comment on here today.  Unfortunately, my mother passed away last night and I'm really sad...so I'm just going to say good luck to everyone today with all your adventures...and welcome to the new members.  I'm glad to have these online friends to turn to.  I'm pretty alone in my life, and it helps a lot.

Be yourself...live for today.

Pockets can be handy, but definitely overrated.  I like a nice big shoulder bag.

I seriously doubt I have to worry about anyone trying to look up my skirt, although it would be amusing.

@Ann W please accept my condolences. Losing a parent especially a mom is so hard. I wrap you in my virtual hugs.

First, @Ann W I'm so deeply sorry to her about your mother. My sympathies are with you. ?

I'm back from my appointment, and still free of spiro! We're going to do another lab check in March, but for now things are in a good place between estrogen and testosterone. One less thing to be anxious about for now.

Also... @Mmindy Kitties! So adorbs! ❤️

Love,

~Audrey.

@Mmindy, cute puddies!!

@Ann W, I am sorry to hear that your mother passed.  Hugs!

Today was errand day in town.  The temperature was above zero (C), warm enough to eat in the car, so we stopped for burgers at A&W, our favourite.  Their coffee is so-o-o good!

I picked up another memory-foam-and-gel seat cushion today, since they were on sale.  I am always carrying the one I already had around with me, since I can't sit on a hard chair without one, so it made sense to get another.

Speaking of the reason I need a cushion, I have my first pelvic floor physiotherapy session tomorrow.  I am not optimistic that physio will work, but I hope it does.  If not, then I'll have to get in line for revision surgery.

Good morning everyone. Ann, I'm so sorry to hear that happened. I'm glad you still have the spirit to leave a motivational message. Losing a loved one is not easy, please take all the time you need.

Welcome Violet.  It's been awhile since i found this space with so many who understand the struggle to simply be ourselves in a society that often disapproves,  It isn't an easy path but being together we can share all the bumps and the joys. You are not alone.   Hugs,   Charlize

I'm sorry it didn't work out for the new job. Nothing to keep you from being on the search. I had a coworker who used to walk out of the locker room saying; "I was looking for a job with I found this one and I'll keep searching for the next one. Never let them think you're comfortable and settled."   The coffee has just finished brewing, and we have a HVAC technician coming in about 30 minutes to do an annual system check.   It's time to get out of my Pj's.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

@Sally Stone, I have enjoyed reading this thread immensely. There certainly are some things in it that I can relate to, particularly when you wrote that "I wasn’t a man trapped in a woman’s body." This simple statement confirmed two things for me; I am not an imposter here, and I could end up much further along the path than what I imagine now.   I very much look forward to your future posts here.   I hope that by posing this question I'm not committing you to spoil future posts, but can I ask, why you have settled on Bigender as a label? I keep changing my label and have no idea what it might be tomorrow or next week or next month!

This whole Cass Review thing is breaking my heart. I keep imagining how it must be to be a trans kid in the UK atm. I am halfway through reading the review so that I can effectively refute it if and when people cite it here in Australia.

One thing I took on board from a former boss who was an absolute gentleman and fluent conversationalist but a hopeless leader because he was the classic yes man to his superiors, was to take the emotion out of the equation when arguing. Don't use hyperbole. Don't exaggerate. Stick to what you know and defeat your adversary with logic. Of course, your adversary will double down and make an even bigger fool of themselves, and not even realize that they have lost the argument, nor will they realize that people are laughing at them and not with them. It also helps if you can separate them from their minions.   A conservative elderly uncle, who left school at the age of 12, swears black and blue that taking Ivermectin (sheep dip) prevents Covid because he knew someone who knew someone else who took it and despite that person being momentarily in close contact with people who had Covid, didn't come down with it. "Well, you're the one with the science degree!" I said.   A lot of people argue out of ignorance. They base their points on populism and rumor. I rarely argue, but when I do, it is in an attempt to push back. Another favorite saying that I use is "Rumors are started by haters, spread by fools and believed by idiots." I then ask, "Which two are you?" 😉

Good morning, all!!! Cloudy today with some light rain coming. Not a day to work outside.   I will vacuum the house and the head out to our local hardware store after I get cleaned up. Time to buy a new bird feeder for the back porch.   I'm sorry the job didn't work @KymmieL! Hang in there.   It sounds like a busy time for you at work @Willow. Finding reliable people is so hard these days.   Time for another cup of coffee before I start cleaning!!   Enjoy this beautiful day we've been given.

Nostalgia is an emotion. It is the feeling of enjoying events from the past. People with nostalgia will often look at or use old things that they were familiar with years ago. This is because people feel more connected to those past times that they enjoyed, usually because it reminds them of how long it has been since they last connected to such past times. Examples where people may have the feeling of nostalgia includes watching old TV shows, using old technology that was very enjoyable, and playing with toys that you played with as a child. These memories are usually misleading, and can make someone wish that they could be young again, even if their childhood was mediocre. Human brains often leave out boring or bad memories, which can cause incorrect feelings about their childhood.
