Well that 1st cup has come and gone already, went shopping last night and promptly forgot to get eggs and bread ?

I guess I was just focusing on what I could carry out of the store in one bag, just a good excuse to go again today I suppose. So a cuppa coffee and the last two slices of toast will just have to do !

Today.

Now this illustrates why editing should be allowed. Bus hit a bump and sent my post before I was finished typing. I don't own a computer so must do this on phone one letter at a time. Now I forgot what I was going to say because I had to renavigate to this spot!

*** EMERGENCY ***
There are no coffee beans in my home! We forgot to get them when we last went grocery shopping. I had to resort to using some cold coffee concentrate which isn't bad, but it's hardly the same as my freshly pulled espresso shots that I normally make.

And to top it off I forgot to set my alarm and slept right through my Toastmasters meeting this morning in which I had an assigned role. Oh well, the day's got to get better, right? RIGHT? ?

Oh goodness Julie, that is an emergency, how could you let that happen? I went shopping last night and forgot some simple basics, namely eggs, bread and butter, so this morning’s breakfast was a little on the simple side ?

Good afternoon. I just picked up the keys to the apartment and can start moving in. It almost feels like when I was young and leaving home. Except I have way more stuff! LOL

Congrats Julie.  I know it's bittersweet but look at it as a new beginning.  You'll note be free to be yourself.

I can certainly relate to having more stuff.  I don't look forward to clearing out when it's time to move.

I'm not sure I could do that to my son.  His head would explode!

Good morning ?

Going to pick up my mother-in-law then take her to the hairdresser. Then I take her for her waxing appointment then likely lunch and shopping. Definitely stopping on the way to her place to get my x-large Tim Hortons coffee!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning!:coffee:

I'm now relaxing for a while after shaving my arms (for the first time since coming out). I'm really beginning to hate being a girl wrapped up in a boy's body. :hairpull: Hope the body hair lightens up soon.

The very first thing I did was get that coffee maker going this morning, I need to go into the office and take care of some stuff for a trade show headed to Munich first thing next week, no rest for the wicked I suppose !  I’m getting that first cup in right now, I’m about 2/3 into the beautiful brown contents at this moment. My cookie monster pajama pants are way too comfy but I’ve got to go take a shower and get my rear end over to the office as soon as possible ?

Wow, I must be the first one up this cold windy Sunday. However the coffee is nice and warming on the insides. Outsides are a different story. Have a good day all.

I'm working on my cup right now. I was too busy shaving and trying to figure out what to wear. It's overcast here but no wind.

Hope all goes well for everyone here.

Hugs,

Good morning, all.  Rain, rain, rain, or perhaps more accurately, drizzle, drizzle, drizzle.  Somehow my early morning coffee isn't providing the same lift on such a gloomy morning.  I want to feel the warmth of the sun's rays on my face, not the depressing drip, drip, drip of this seemingly unending weather pattern.  It must be sunny somewhere.  Oh, to have the freedom and the financial wherewithal to simply escape to some place warm and wonderful.  Wishful thinking that...

Have a great day.

Good morning. It's gonna be Monday all day, I'm afraid. We are expecting rain for the next 2-3 days. Up to 5 inches by the time the rain is over. I have had my morning cup of joe and will be heading out to work soon.

Welcome Violet.  It's been awhile since i found this space with so many who understand the struggle to simply be ourselves in a society that often disapproves,  It isn't an easy path but being together we can share all the bumps and the joys. You are not alone.   Hugs,   Charlize

I'm sorry it didn't work out for the new job. Nothing to keep you from being on the search. I had a coworker who used to walk out of the locker room saying; "I was looking for a job with I found this one and I'll keep searching for the next one. Never let them think you're comfortable and settled."   The coffee has just finished brewing, and we have a HVAC technician coming in about 30 minutes to do an annual system check.   It's time to get out of my Pj's.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

@Sally Stone, I have enjoyed reading this thread immensely. There certainly are some things in it that I can relate to, particularly when you wrote that "I wasn’t a man trapped in a woman’s body." This simple statement confirmed two things for me; I am not an imposter here, and I could end up much further along the path than what I imagine now.   I very much look forward to your future posts here.   I hope that by posing this question I'm not committing you to spoil future posts, but can I ask, why you have settled on Bigender as a label? I keep changing my label and have no idea what it might be tomorrow or next week or next month!

This whole Cass Review thing is breaking my heart. I keep imagining how it must be to be a trans kid in the UK atm. I am halfway through reading the review so that I can effectively refute it if and when people cite it here in Australia.

One thing I took on board from a former boss who was an absolute gentleman and fluent conversationalist but a hopeless leader because he was the classic yes man to his superiors, was to take the emotion out of the equation when arguing. Don't use hyperbole. Don't exaggerate. Stick to what you know and defeat your adversary with logic. Of course, your adversary will double down and make an even bigger fool of themselves, and not even realize that they have lost the argument, nor will they realize that people are laughing at them and not with them. It also helps if you can separate them from their minions.   A conservative elderly uncle, who left school at the age of 12, swears black and blue that taking Ivermectin (sheep dip) prevents Covid because he knew someone who knew someone else who took it and despite that person being momentarily in close contact with people who had Covid, didn't come down with it. "Well, you're the one with the science degree!" I said.   A lot of people argue out of ignorance. They base their points on populism and rumor. I rarely argue, but when I do, it is in an attempt to push back. Another favorite saying that I use is "Rumors are started by haters, spread by fools and believed by idiots." I then ask, "Which two are you?" 😉

Good morning, all!!! Cloudy today with some light rain coming. Not a day to work outside.   I will vacuum the house and the head out to our local hardware store after I get cleaned up. Time to buy a new bird feeder for the back porch.   I'm sorry the job didn't work @KymmieL! Hang in there.   It sounds like a busy time for you at work @Willow. Finding reliable people is so hard these days.   Time for another cup of coffee before I start cleaning!!   Enjoy this beautiful day we've been given.
