@Tellington

So.... I have heard back from "Marie". She told me that I have a beautiful soul and I just melted. She wants to continue a friendship and that is as much as I could possibly hope for. Funny that I am still crying, but they are happy tears now. I know that I will finally sleep well tonight after so many nights of not sleeping. She will probably never know how much she has changed my life, but that is ok, I just want her to be a part of it.

That's wonderful. I am admittedly somewhat envious, but if I happened into such a situation, it would probably scare the heck out of me. I have too much of a history of just latching on and then screwing it up.

Anyway, you deserve it, and I am truly happy for you.

My wife is the same way. She doesn't really want to know about Kymmie at all. I think that She knows I go on line and talk to my girl friends.

Maybe we should feel sorry for them, because they won't allow themselves to experience the happy versions of ourselves.

@KymmieLNot only do I still say bummer, I occasionally add the prefix "Whoa, dude!" to it.

Hi

@KathyLauren I didn’t think about that answer.  But you are right.  There are times and situations where we must care for ourselves in order to be able to care for others.

@CD Rachel I’m glad you heard back from “Marie”.  I know how upset you were, and how happy you are.

have a great day everyone

Good morning everyone,:coffee:

It's going to be a hot day in the shop. Hair up in a ponytail then up under a welding beanie, so I can wear my face-shield for grinding and then the welding helmet. Bib overalls, long sleeve denim shirt, leather apron, and heavy gloves. I'll stay hydrated, and aware of my physical condition, as I sweat away the pounds. On the days I work hard, I don't workout. Fans will be blowing from all directions.

Best wishes, positive motivation, and safety for all,

Good morning all.  0820hrs and already 60 on the fenceometer. Glad it's going to be a nice day. I need to get some stuff finished on the wagon for our trip tomorrow. We are heading to Lincoln for the weekend. As the 31st is my oldest grandsons birthday. Taking him and my granddaughter to Cars and Coffee Sat at Speedway Motors.

I still don't get my wife. yesterday, we go and look at a house. She is OK with me wearing a ladies Harley t with a padded bra. obviously, showing that I have breasts. Go figure. I guess even women don't understand women.

We put in an offer for this home. Should hear something later today.

Well off to the salt mines in a bit, but first coffee. As always brought to you today by Folgers.

Hugs,

I have family with those fancy set-the-time-grinds-brews, and is ready when you drag your butt out of bed.

But for me, Folgers in my coffee-press works just fine.

Hi, meeting with another lawyer tomorrow.  We’ll see how that goes.  Our daughter is also supposed to be coming here to a campground for the weekend.  We’ll see if she makes any contact with us.

Kymmie, I don’t know what to say.  I’ve been through similar things as well.  I never know what she is thinking.  It’s ok, then it’s not ok.  I hope your sons birthday goes well.  Our sons birthday is the 29th.

Jandi, we are using a very basic coffee maker.  Put water in, put a pod in and press start.  One cup at a time.  And if we are away from the dock I have a percolator.  Old school!  I have used Folgers and Maxwell House. But not instant coffee!

Willow, I will always keep an old fashion stovetop coffee percolator. I have two at home, and one in the camper. I may be without gas or electric, but I’ll never be without a functioning coffee maker.

Me, too! I always have one on hand. And, I gotta say, there's something extra special about percolated coffee made over a campfire...

In a whole 'nother area, I got a new fragrance today. I bought it as a kind of joke, but it smells good--007 for women. Sadly, the guitar riff and Walther PPK are not included...

I forgot to mention. Second day on my new job. Yesterday was all paperwork, today was all over the plant. Introduced to everyone as Hannah, and she this, her that. So awesome. Then I found out that my name badge can't have Hannah on it until I legally change my name. Not what I was initially told.😟 It actually didn't hit me all that hard at first, until I was introduced to a couple of folks in the same job who had their name badges hanging on their shirt pockets. Got kinda triggered.😬

Well had a good feeling today. Our apt is about 50 yrds from the parking lot. It is a PIA. SO today I am walking out to do some work on the wagon. Get her ready for the road trip tomorrow.

I notice that my pony tail is bouncing as I walked. Just like a girls does. I made me feel great.

I am having a difficult time with this hiding. So I think I am going to start pushing my boundaries. This week I came out to a friend at work. He is supportive and told me he is available if I need to talk. I then spoke to my brother and he and his wife now know. They both told me that they still love me and though they do not understand that this is about my happiness and they want me to be happy. I plan on talking to my sister soon. Then the hard part will be talking to my son, he worries me the most but this must be done. Then i will start to look at work. I would like to be full time by the end of this summer.

Done hiding!

You're not missing anything. Years ago I had a Walther PPK 9mm short - the same as 007 had. Terrible ballistics. Even the guy at the gun shop wouldn't buy it off me! 😅

Good morning everyone

TGIF!  And I mean that with all I’ve got.  It’s been an up and down week for me, that’s for sure.

The backpacking I’ve done has been along the Appalachian trail.  No camp fires allowed!  So mine has only been used over a single burner hikers camp stove.  Still nothing like a hot cup after a night on top of a mountain.  (And before you say anything about the Appalachians being hills, remember that they are the oldest know range in the world and we’re once believed to be as high as the Himalayan.

it’s supposed to be rainy and stormy today, but nice for the weekend.  I’d like to take the sailboat out Saturday, we will have to see about that.  There is a fishing tournament going on as well as the holiday weekend boaters and I don’t want to deal with a bunch of power boaters.  They brought in a blue marlin that weighed nearly 400 pounds yesterday.

Otherwise nothing much going on.

That's the most important part. They don't have to understand right now, it's a learning curve. Love is the most important part. My son knows about my transition and is extremely uncomfortable with it. He does not want any confusing signals about my gender in front of his three teenage children.

I like seeing what hikers start off with and what they drop off as they find out the Ounces add up to Pounds, and Pounds equal Pain. As for the age of the Appalachian Mountains it hard for people who don't have an appreciation for Geology and Plate Tectonics to grasp the millions of years that have shaped our world known as Earth.

Good morning, today's coffee:coffee: was brewed in an electric Bunn coffee maker, so it's a good sign that the kick off to Summer is under way. TGIF

Every week I've been excited to take my shot, so it's never been an issue. Yesterday, however, I woke up and started my usual "slow roll" and then suddenly realized I had breakfast plans that I had to rush out the door for. After, it was straight into work calls, and then I got the notification from the doctor about things being too high and all the while my mind had completely slipped that I needed take my shot.   Given that I am not asking for medical advice, but sharing my journey, I will note my results: Estradiol at 447 pg/mL and Testosterone was 23 ng/dL, up and down from 26 pg/mL and 526 ng/dL respectively before treatment. Almost flipped the bit! The doc would like my Estradiol closer to 300 pg/mL, so we'll see what Monday's tests state.   Oh, and I teased the dinner with old soccer teammates and never updated the thread! It went well. There were a couple funny moments. One guy, who I was worried about their response, greeted me with "Hey, you've lost some weight!" 😎 And a friend who lives near me picked me up on the way to dinner exclaimed, after we learned one of the invitees might show up with a date, "Wait! We could have brought women?!" To which I instantly responded, "You kind of did, bringing me!" Everyone got a good laugh out of that. 😁

To me there isn't that much difference other the measurement, which side the zipper is on and men's pants have bigger pockets.

I hope this is not stupid question..I have yet to start n not sure if doc will approve..but once you start growing buds n such, can you still wear forms to get to the size you were?   I'm a dad, so when I start blossoms they will be smaller for a long time n probably need surgical augmented..that's fine. I don't want to go ddd to aa to ddd..   any ideas?   thank you

I like them too.  We had them growing up.  But my father's family were Swedes.

Oh my!  I guess it just goes to show how different tastes can be. Since we don't live near the ocean, Seafood is a rare luxury. We absolutely love pickled herring! Especially my husband and my GF, I guess it's a Ferman/Russian cultural thing.  But most of the kids like it too, and a jar wouldn't last in the pantry for long 😆
    • awkward-yet-sweet
I think the key to that is just not minding eating the same thing repeatedly. Since we produce a lot of our own food here, we end up eating what is in season at the moment. So, when the yellow squash is ripening, we end up fixing squash 20 different ways. When the strawberries are ready, we eat lots of strawberries. It's kind of a different mindset to eat in season when it has become such a part of American culture but the grocery store has everything we want all the time. Like grapes in December.  My family does even things out a little bit by having a greenhouse so we have some fresh things in the winter, but it's not a 100% fix.
    • KathyLauren
My brothers and I had to eat what was on the plate.  All of it, and nothing else.  Pickiness was not tolerated.  Some of our least favourite were liver and onions, sauerkraut, and especially rollmops (pickled herring).  We finally protested enough to persuade our mother not to serve rollmops, though she kept a jar in the pantry for years afterwards, as a threat if we didn't behave.

I'll go first.  My favorite team is the Yankees.  Loved them since I was a kid.  I was born in NYC so, yeah.  I know everyone loves to hate them, and that's OK.  I just love baseball in general.  It's a game of traditions, strategy, power, grace and skill.   Play Ball!!  ⚾   Carolyn Marie

I guess you do have a good point. It's just hard to try and not have the same meals over and over again.
    • Willow
Hi   I’ll weigh in on being picky about food.  Yes, and I was brought up that way.  We didn’t have to eat everything our parents ate.  They had a number of things they ate that they figured we wouldn’t eat, an acquired taste things or one or the other didn’t like them too.   even as an adult there are many things I won’t eat.  In my defense, there are different things my wife won’t eat.   the weird thing is that after being in E, my tastes have changed.  Sweet, sour, salty or bland, if I eat or drink too much of any one thing and I have to counter act it.   Willow
    • Ashley0616
I have shared my doses and levels a lot and no one has said anything. Yeah I put alarms on my phone to make sure I don't miss a dose. I tend to forget a lot of stuff on what needs to be done. I have been also using the calendar on my phone a lot. I missed an appointment because I didn't put it in my calendar.
    • Ashley0616
Feeling better than I did yesterday
    • MaeBe
It's official. My doctor wants me retested after the last results (too high). The test, that she scheduled, was likely too close to the dose. She did tell me to keep the increased dose instead of reverting to my old one, probably because my "too high" wasn't that high. I don't know what the forum's stance is on results, knowing full well the rules against sharing dosage, so I'll keep those under wraps until I know if it's OK to share those. Less to say, it was over the range she feels comfortable with by about 50%, but taken a day earlier than the midpoint value she was expecting. Grains of salt everywhere!   Of course I messed everything up too, missing my dose for the first time, yesterday. I had to re-reschedule the lab I setup yesterday to Monday from Saturday after taking my shot this morning to avoid the same issue with the testing. I woke up and thought, "Thursday, what do I have to do for work today? OH -crap-, IT'S THURSDAY! I missed my shot yesterday!"   Anyhoo. Question for the ladies: does anyone else get a mild zen-like high after their shots/doses? My brain feels lighter and I'm happier and I feel a lot more girlie this morning. 💃
    • MaeBe
I'm into my fourth month of HRT and just titrated up in dosage after my last checkup. This is my life. 🤭   I have yet to grow out of my B cup bras, but I have noticed more fullness, having started with gynecomastia. I am seeing less gapping in bras with my right breast, which has always been smaller than my left. My areolae are slightly pronounced/projected now, that are larger but not vastly greater in circumference, and I have noticed little to no nipple changes beyond their painful sensitivity.
