Good morning All. Coffees on.

Morning. I'm still out of coffee, day 2, so I'm drinking tea.

Between my dogs arguing all night with their bark, bark, growl, my wife's 24in garage fan and the fact she can't sleep without the TV on. I haven't slept in 3 days. So tired I want to cry. At least I didn't oversleep today.

It sounds like you could really use a mental health day. I don't like sleeping apart either, but if it's the couch (or spare room or whatever) or listening to the TV drone all night... You have to take care of yourself too sweetie.

Hugs!

Yesterday was interesting. SO I walk into the house after work.  Low and behold she is up stairs. Then I see the basket of clean laundry in the middle of the living room floor. With only my stuff folded. She had put hers away already. I ask her 'OH, couldn't take mine up too.'  I only get well I folded it.  SO, when she goes to take a bath I just take my laundry up and put it away. leaving the laundry basket in the middle of the floor.

IMO You two need to talk more directly, both of you are being passive aggressive and that cycle never works out.  To my outside view, it appears neither of you want this to work but are too afraid to admit that to each other so just continue to try and piss each other off hoping it will break apart that way.  If you think it's time to move on, move on and be upfront about it.

Sorry if that's too blunt but I'm worried that this toxicity will just damage you emotionally for a long time if you don't break out of the cycle.

I'm so sorry you are going through this.

Earplugs?  My wife swears by them. I used to snore heavily so she started using them for that. I don't think I snore as badly now that I'm at a healthier weight but she won't risk not sleeping. lol

Wow, that sucks. My wife can't sleep till usually 3 am, and always has the tv on. I wear eye mask, but can't sleep with ear plugs. Sometimes I go to the garage to sleep or in the recliner down by the front door. If it was warmer out I would say, sleep in the car. Hope it gets better for you

If either one of us can't sleep, we do a jigsaw puzzle on the computer. BrainsBreaker is $20 now. You can use any picture and make a puzzle out of it. You can download a demo version.

I can't imagine running out of coffee. Usually 2 or 3 cups in the morning then switch to green tea.

Bri, never worry about being to blunt with me. Sometimes I just need that.

I swear she is Jeckle and Hyde. After she came down she was all peaches and cream. So who knows.

Any Hoo, 20 and overcast this am. looks like snow clouds. Nice warm shower and I ready to veg all day. Coffee is warming up.

I am waiting on the job to leave. Maybe I should look into just transferring within the company then look for other once I am out there.

It's to the point that I'm looking into buying a sex doll, not for, you know, sex (which I'm also giving a break) but for cuddling a feminine form.

I have one of those Body Pillows to sleep with.

Baked some more bread this morning in the dutch oven.   I need to find a way to get a little less crust tho.  I don't have a lot of teeth.  LOL

Also found out that one of my cousins has ALS.   My brother and one of my sisters both died from this, and it is a terrible way to go.  At one point I was afraid I was getting it, but it turned out to be a low sodium thing.  (which is why I can't do spiro)    Apparently it runs in my mothers side.

I was thinking I was past the usual age for it to start, but now that I think about it, this cousin is only one year younger than me.  Oh well.

I'm so sorry to hear about your cousin and siblings @Jandi.  I saw my grandfather go that way, and for a long time I got worried anytime something seemed heavier than it used to be.

Hi everyone, happy Friday. I hope you've having a better one than me. Was up most of the night last night with awful stomach cramps that are still hanging on into this afternoon. It was nearly impossible to get comfortable enough to sleep more than like twenty minutes at a time. Being super kind to myself today and took a sick day, and plan to rest up all weekend long. Fortunately I don't think it's COVID-19, I have no respiratory symptoms or fever. Just bad judgement about where to order salads from, apparently.

@Jandi I'm very sorry to hear about your cousin's diagnosis and about your siblings. This is an incredible emotional weight to bear, and my thoughts are with you and your family.

Love,

~Audrey.

Hey, All. Good Afternoon. Still dreary out. I think it may have gotten to 30 degrees.

Just got finished with a fantastic session with my therapist. She gave me some tough love and like some of my friends on here. I am in a hopeless relationship. I have almost bent over backwards to be with her and understand her problems. Yet she refuses to even try and understand me. That is not good in any relationship especially one of over 35yrs. If I don't girl up and make a stand and move on. I am going to be stuck hiding who I am until I die. I need to be who I am and shouldn't let anyone get in my way.

I will be on later, Hugs

I'm still in the process of getting stuff sorted out after moving. One of the things I found was a bunch of chainmail roses I created years ago. It's a little hard to even look at some of this stuff. Feels like a lot of broken dreams. In an effort to renew my love for my forgotten craft I decided bind some of them into a bouquet.

Hi everyone just about to leave for work. They are calling for snow today. The worst part is after the snow it’s supposed to be below zero. Not really looking forward to next week lol.

I was sleeping RIGHT up until the point my cat went off. He was singing some manner of cat opera in the bathroom for he is the King of Cats and demands his ape-servant to feed him. I was really hoping to sleep in today, but maybe I can get back to bed once his Majesty is sated. Ugh.

Other than leaving for work, got the same issues here.

The snow is forecast for tonight and is expected to be heavy. The worst will come by Monday or Tuesday when the temperature has dropped below zero and the trampled snow is now lethal icy slush that is so unsafe to walk on, and I’m supposed to go for a scan to the local hospital. If it is unsafe, again, I can but hope it is cancelled yet again.

My cat went off at 5:00.  He thinks it is fun to pull my hair.  @#$%!!  I got back to sleep, but didn't wake up until late.

@Jackie C., you'd have liked our last cat.  He had a voice like Pavarotti, and would sing opera at 2:0 am.

Espresso this morning.

We have a major snowfall coming Sunday night and Monday morning.  I hope they have the roads clear by Tuesday morning, because I have to drive into the city for a doctor's appointment.  I want her to start on whatever paperwork is needed for revision surgery.

That's a beautiful bouquet, @ElizabethStar. I love found art! Makes me wish I had a creative spark to do projects like that.

Fortunately I'm feeling quite a bit better today after the stomach bug I came down with Thursday night. I caught up on a good amount of sleep and I finally feel more like myself this morning. Hoping to catch up with a couple friends this weekend, but otherwise no big plans. Partner and I want to make omelets this weekend sometime but I want to my body to settle a bit more. Looks like a number of you are expecting more winter weather... same here. They say we're in for another storm here in NYC tomorrow that could bring six inches of snow. A lot of the snow that fell the other day has melted since it's been above freezing (but not for much longer).

p.s. I love the descriptions of "cats going off." ❤️

Love,

~Audrey.

I guess I am lucky. Our cat is afraid of the outside.

Well my Monday today. But I did get the regional manager of OR. email so I can email him to see if there is any Manager spots open up there.

Even though I am tired of being on my feet for 8-10 hours a day. I will transfer with in the company if it gets me where I want to go.

Hugs

The number is relative to method of deliver, the time of the dose, and when the blood is drawn. However, I do want to keep away from DVT and other potential issues. I assume I may be getting backed down from my current dose, but my doc told me to stick with the higher dose, so? I also wonder if this has anything to do the my breast growth and mental changes that have been happening over the past few years, like I have some estrogen sensitivity so a little goes a long way or something? I don't have enough data to postulate, but who knows!   With weekly, subcutaneous, shots you expect to see big swings of serum level estradiol from shot to peak to trough. My doctor is interested in mid-week testing (for E and T levels only), which would be post-peak blood serum levels but they will be higher than trough. Most, if not all, resources I've seen online is to measure at trough (which I might do just to do it next time) along with a SHBG, LH, and other metrics.   This is from transfemscience.org for Estradiol valerate in oil, which is very spiky compared to some other estradiol combinations. It's also for intramuscular, which will have a slower uptake and is usually dosed in higher volume due to the slower absorption rate from muscles. They don't have subcutaneous numbers, which I would expect to see similar spikes but higher levels at similar doses due to the relatively higher absorption rate direct from fat.   Are you doing pills, shots, or patches? And when you do get your levels checked are you getting that done when your levels are lowest or some other time?

Both of my parents were from the “North Shore” of Boston.  My mother Lynn and my father Swampscot.  They had an early 1900s Scots-Irish New England diet.  My sister and I were born in the 40s in Ohio well away from New England seafood and in an area where food was more German and Polish.  My first experience with liver and onions was during basic training.  They ate salt cod but never forced us to eat it same with oysters.  My dad ate oysters but my mother wouldn’t.  Anyone who ever ate an oyster can figure that one out.  I grew up eating lamb.  My wife won’t touch it. I love brazed ox tail, again no way. And the list goes on.
    • KathyLauren
My mother was German, so yes, I think it was a cultural thing.  If I'd known you when we were cleaning out my mother's place, I could have sent you her "threat jar".

Been taking it real easy.Another good neighbor of mine and his 15 year old son came over and cut down a couple dead trees on my property.Knew not to do it taking it easy.I had them put the wood near my fire pit in the back yard.Did it and happy where they put it.They knew I had stents put in and needed to take it easy
    • Ashley0616
Wow that is a high number for Estradiol good grief! Testosterone levels are better than mine. I don't remember my Estradiol level but testosterone was 80. To me that is really high but it was in the two hundreds the check in before last one.

I don't understand why this would make a difference being a "dad" I mean, as far as how they would grow.

I don't see why not. I have worn forms since I came out.
    • MaeBe
I have never worn breastforms, but I assume as long as they don't aggravate your nipples you could.

Every week I've been excited to take my shot, so it's never been an issue. Yesterday, however, I woke up and started my usual "slow roll" and then suddenly realized I had breakfast plans that I had to rush out the door for. After, it was straight into work calls, and then I got the notification from the doctor about things being too high and all the while my mind had completely slipped that I needed take my shot.   Given that I am not asking for medical advice, but sharing my journey, I will note my results: Estradiol at 447 pg/mL and Testosterone was 23 ng/dL, up and down from 26 pg/mL and 526 ng/dL respectively before treatment. Almost flipped the bit! The doc would like my Estradiol closer to 300 pg/mL, so we'll see what Monday's tests state.   Oh, and I teased the dinner with old soccer teammates and never updated the thread! It went well. There were a couple funny moments. One guy, who I was worried about their response, greeted me with "Hey, you've lost some weight!" 😎 And a friend who lives near me picked me up on the way to dinner exclaimed, after we learned one of the invitees might show up with a date, "Wait! We could have brought women?!" To which I instantly responded, "You kind of did, bringing me!" Everyone got a good laugh out of that. 😁

To me there isn't that much difference other the measurement, which side the zipper is on and men's pants have bigger pockets.

I hope this is not stupid question..I have yet to start n not sure if doc will approve..but once you start growing buds n such, can you still wear forms to get to the size you were?   I'm a dad, so when I start blossoms they will be smaller for a long time n probably need surgical augmented..that's fine. I don't want to go ddd to aa to ddd..   any ideas?   thank you

I like them too.  We had them growing up.  But my father's family were Swedes.

Oh my!  I guess it just goes to show how different tastes can be. Since we don't live near the ocean, Seafood is a rare luxury. We absolutely love pickled herring! Especially my husband and my GF, I guess it's a Ferman/Russian cultural thing.  But most of the kids like it too, and a jar wouldn't last in the pantry for long 😆
    • awkward-yet-sweet
I think the key to that is just not minding eating the same thing repeatedly. Since we produce a lot of our own food here, we end up eating what is in season at the moment. So, when the yellow squash is ripening, we end up fixing squash 20 different ways. When the strawberries are ready, we eat lots of strawberries. It's kind of a different mindset to eat in season when it has become such a part of American culture but the grocery store has everything we want all the time. Like grapes in December.  My family does even things out a little bit by having a greenhouse so we have some fresh things in the winter, but it's not a 100% fix.
