Then how do you measure bra fit? Admittedly finding my bra size is like finding unicorn eggs in my cat's litter box, but I keep an eye on it.

Ewwwww why watch your cats litter box.  I always thought people from Livonia were weird. You were closer to Northville. LOL.

The goal for me is to actually go out with my wife while I am dressed as Kymmie. Maybe in a few OK a couple thousand years.

I actually grew up in Northville. ?

I'm allergic to kitty litter dust though, so that's the one household chore I DON'T do.

I have Gynecomastia (enlarged male breasts). So I have a head start on transition. My left breast is larger than the right one. I thing I am getting close to a B cup on the left side and the right side smaller. I used a 36 B (shoulders are about 40)yesterday and had to adjust (stuff) both sides with a small amount if tissue on the left and more on the right. It looked quite normal. Hopefully some day they will both be the same side.

Hi

long day.  So, bra size I don’t carry much fat so I don’t measure my band size as many times as my over the breast measurements.  Now i’ve heard some say bend over at the waist to measure your breasts.  That does add some. My band size is big enough that I can’t get a cup size small enough, so I add enhancers.  To fill out.

well I got shot in my throat 4 times this afternoon, two lidocaine first and two Botox  in spite of the lidocaine it was very uncomfortable as the doctor pushed through my cartilage.  Supposed to kick in tomorrow.  Voice limited to a breathy whisper and swallowing could be difficult for a couple weeks.

As far as I have read in these latest post I have only 2 comments.

1. I wear dresses and skirts while out because I like to wear dresses and skirts. I care less what others are wearing. I'm not out there for them.

2. This one is for Jandi, My wife loves the way you look, you are a person she would love to have over.

0. Hey, just my personal comment here, we are who we are, we come from different walks of life, to each their own, walk tall

and be who you want to be.

-0. Nothing going on here at home, just my new job, delivering meals to the disabled.

I hope I don't offend anyone here on my comments, it is after all just a walk through life.

Times are passing by. I feel it best to say good by and move on.

We, the older generation lived in a different world, we opened many doors, sadly time has come to leave

and search for new doors to open and stairways to climb. I wish all here the best.

<laugh> I had to think about that for a second but no. We were at six and Northville more or less. Right across from the middle school. We were close enough to get the occasional walk-away back when it was still minimum security.

I DID work across the street from the place you're thinking of for quite a few years though. The office building next to Northville Charlie's. Which isn't Northville Charlies anymore but... Still a fancy place to eat though.

The place you're thinking of doesn't exist anymore either. They closed it down back in the 90s and finally got around to tearing it down about ten years ago. Now there's a UofM satellite medical office (where I get my blood work done) and my dentist.

Good (yawn) morning

lol! I woke up earlier than intended.  Throat injection sites are sore.

Today is a house work day.  Mow, power wash the last bit of the driveway, install new garbage disposal repaint a cabinet door, wash windows outdoors.  Nothing much.

I got compliments yesterday.  A nurse liked my necklace, nurse, and doctor both said for a first timer I did very well with my shots.  Another nurse apologized to me about the last time I was there.  Turns out her ex was trans, lied to her, stole, and drank a lot.  Apparently I brought back bad memories.  I don’t recall anything maybe she was a bit all business but so what.  Anyway, no issues, they remembered me from the last time and called be by my name, with correct pronouns.

got ladies and mame’d at a restaurant.  It was a good day.

well there was a casualty, I gave up on my long wig, split ends, tangles it lasted longer than they are supposed to last.  And it was an inexpensive one from Paula Young.  I got my money’s worth.

dreamt about getting complements too.

Morning everyone.  Linda beautiful music as always.  I always look forward to your next video.  Willow, I hope the soreness clears up soon.  I loved getting ma'am and even sweetie sometimes.  Both my phone interviews seemed to go really well.  One was first initial, the other was 3rd with local district manager.  I'll find out their decision next week.

Sorry to hear this happened. It doesn't appear it was  a big deal but it seems all it took was one person to temporarily paint our community in a negative way.

I see more yard work in my future today. the PO owns a landscaping business but didn't have the capacity to take care of his own place. I'm going to be at this for years before it looks acceptable. There's all sorts of debris (broken bottles, furniture remains, concrete and asphalt pieces) buried in piles I have clean up. Not to mention all the dead trees. There's even an old trailer frame rusting out at the far end. And, there's still some house repairs that need to be done.

On the plus side, I don't need to goto a gym to get my exercise. I used to work on stuff in whatever I was wearing for the day. Ruined a lot of clothes. I got really tired of sweating through my bras and getting nice-er jeans dirty so I have put together an outfit for this stuff. I know I'm probably a bit of a sight to see. Out in the yard in a sports top and 3/4 leggings but it's serving multiple purposes.

Obviously, the clothing is a lot more comfortable. If my neighbors catch a glimpse of me it should help answer any questions they have about my gender. It's also body-positive for me. In a previous life I was ashamed of myself, the way I looked. I see it now. I was always covered up. Now I'm getting over myself and will proudly show a little skin.

Looking at it from the outside, it seems a little weird. When I was still pretending to be a cis guy I was always covered up. Head to toe. Boots, jeans, jacket, do-rag on my head and sometimes gloves. Even most times  wore a t-shirt when I went swimming. Now that I'm in the midst of transition I don't fell the urge to be covered up. I would think I would still have the urge, maybe more-so at the moment, until my "transformation" is complete. It's an odd sensation to not carrying around all that extra weight, being exposed and vulnerable but it feels right.

This. I ALWAYS used to dress like that. Everything except the do-rag. Long sleeves, etc...

Now I'm wearing a sleeveless top and I WOULD be wearing my peasant skirt, but it needs some alterations 'cause it's WAY too big and I didn't feel like pinning the waist today. Totally in my sandals though. Today is a sandal day.

A bit off subject. Can anyone tell me what the average Estrogen and Testosterone levels should be while on HRT ?

It's a range but they're shooting for female normal so 30-100 ng/dl testosterone and <200 pg/ml estradiol. Your endo should be adjusting levels for best fit while keeping your overall health in mind.

And yeah, I have a couple of bras that fit right (or right enough), they're just really hard to find. I usually have to order online because unless you're talking sports bras, there aren't any in the shops. I've reached the point in my transition where tearing off my bra is the best part of the day, but it would still be nice to have a couple more pair that fit.

Thanks. Still waiting for Testosterone results, but Estradiol is only 13.2 pg/ml up from 11.1.

The link I posted has links for bras that fit us. (I haven't tried any of these since I just got this tip in todays email).

Oh yeah, I shop some of those brands plus Carmen Liu. I've got some extra complications though. I'm tragically afflicted with pectus carinatum which my parents chose not to treat when I was small. Makes things just a little harder.

Bummer. I wonder if Craniosacral work would help. My wife studied this through Johns Hopkins. It does wonders for some things.

The experience was the same for me @April Marie. I slept much deeper and I woke up each morning feeling so much more restful sleeping with forms solidly in place. For me, wearing breast forms at night started when before I was a teenager. I had no access up to modern breast forms and certainly no way to buy mastectomy bras back then. I wore a basic bra my mom had put in a donation box and two pairs of soft cotton socks. I have some crazy memories of things I did in my youth to combat my GD but regardless, these makeshift concoctions helped me work through it all.   All My Best, Susan R🌷

Colorado isn't exactly a Republican place, and won't become one anytime soon.  I think those folks might be better off not spending their time playing Don Quixote.    We certainly have our share of California "refugees" moving into where I live, so I wouldn't be surprised to start seeing Coloradans too.  I suspect the trend over the next few years will see the blue areas getting more blue and the red areas getting more red as anybody who can relocate tries to find a place where they fit better.
    • awkward-yet-sweet
Well, at least it'll be a place some folks could choose.  Options are a good thing.

My family would have gobbled that jar up in a minute or two.  When we do have pickled herring, its usually for Christmas.  I didn't grow up with that particular dish, but I grew up in a Greek family so I like just about any kind of fish if I can get it.  However, ocean fish and freshwater fish taste so different.  We usually have more catfish and tilapia to eat than anything else.    What I can't quite get used to is the tons of cabbage my GF insists on eating.  When you live with a Russian, there is always cabbage soup.  Always.  When I first moved in with her, breakfast was "shchi" for soup and either bread or "kasha" which is a bowl of boiled buckwheat with butter and salt.  Those dishes can be made in any number of ways, some are better than others.  In the winter, it can even be salty and sour like kraut.  Not exactly sauerkraut, but packed in tubs with vinegar and salt so it keeps partially for the winter.  But I drew the line when the cabbage soup included pieces of fried snake one day.  😆

Good evening to you as well @Mmindy   That is awesome that you have support from her side. My dad has communicated with me once and that was because he was forced to. His new wife wanted to spend time with my kids. He hated me so much he was in the process of taking my rights away as a parent to my two boys. He was talking to a lawyer and I called him out on it. I don't love him at all. I'll respect him because I wouldn't be here without him but I wished I had another father. My uncles don't talk to me and unfriended me on Facebook. Almost all cousins except for two are still Facebook friends but they don't give me any support. My mom said she won't support me with that but she has said that she loves me. I have nieces and nephews that are still Facebook friends but they have yet to talk to me. I have one sister that supports me out of three. The other's disrespect me by deadnaming me. They have never called me their sister. I think for them they think it's still a phase. They don't ask questions about me being trans. I have to bring it up and on the look of their faces they don't look comfortable about it.

Good evening @Ashley0616,   I just got offline with HP tech support trying to get my printer tool box icon locked to my tool bar. This is one of the most important features of my printer that I like because it keeps track of ink, paper, and scanned documents. I'm diffidently not a computer geek.   I'll catch up with the other bookmarks next week. We leave to go home for the Easter Holiday with our families. Saturday with her side, and Sunday with my side. What's odd about that is I'm out to more of her side and they're reluctantly supportive. My side on the other hand are less supportive, and my sister just under me in age will not acknowledge my being there. She will be constantly moving to keep from dealing with me. I'm dead to her.   Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

I used to follow baseball and the team I would cheer for is Boston Red Sox. My favorite player was Papi. He was an awesome guy and even held a child during the National Anthem. I haven't watched baseball for a long time. It just died off to me.

My view is we are "dependent" on government, because as a society, we are too lazy to stay actively involved. So, we let politicians do our bidding for us.  I think we'd be in a better place government wise if we policed the actions of our politicians.  We elected them; they work for us.  Sadly, we are allowing them to run amok.  We are where we are because we have chosen to let politicians make all decisions without us.  Remember "by the people, for the people?" That was the intent of our democracy.  Today, however, it is "by the politicians, for the politicians," the people be damned.

"Play Ball! Batter Up!" is the closing line of the National Anthem as far as I'm concerned. It's the call of the Home Plate Umpire and signals the start of the game. I grew up in the TV and Radio broadcast of the St. Louis Cardinals. Harry Caray, Jack Buck, Tim McCarver, and Mike Shannon, were the voices on my transistor radio. KMOX 1120 AM pushing 50,000 watts of Class A clear-channel non-directional signal. It could be picked up all across MO, IL, IN to the East. KS, OK, CO to the West. IA, MN to the North, and KY, TN, AR to the South. There has always been a rivalry against the Chicago Cubs, in the National League. As for the American League, I have to pull for the Kansas City Royals. I've also been a Little League Umpire, and fan of everything the Little League stands for. Going to Williamsport, PA and seeing the Little League World Series is in my top 10 things to do on my bucket list.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Good evening everyone,   I don't think my mother ever cooked a meal that I didn't like. We also had a kitchen where mom fixed the food, dad filled your plate, and you eat it. It wasn't until our baby brother was born that we could have Pop-Tarts for snacks. Before that all snacks had to meet mom's approval, and in her opinion wouldn't prevent you from eating supper.   Well my day started off on a good note, but has become frustrating because my IT person didn't transfer my saved videos I use for teaching. Then I found out that they didn't save any of my book marks for websites I use frequently.   Best wishes, stay motivated,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

The number is relative to method of deliver, the time of the dose, and when the blood is drawn. However, I do want to keep away from DVT and other potential issues. I assume I may be getting backed down from my current dose, but my doc told me to stick with the higher dose, so? I also wonder if this has anything to do the my breast growth and mental changes that have been happening over the past few years, like I have some estrogen sensitivity so a little goes a long way or something? I don't have enough data to postulate, but who knows!   With weekly, subcutaneous, shots you expect to see big swings of serum level estradiol from shot to peak to trough. My doctor is interested in mid-week testing (for E and T levels only), which would be post-peak blood serum levels but they will be higher than trough. Most, if not all, resources I've seen online is to measure at trough (which I might do just to do it next time) along with a SHBG, LH, and other metrics.   This is from transfemscience.org for Estradiol valerate in oil, which is very spiky compared to some other estradiol combinations. It's also for intramuscular, which will have a slower uptake and is usually dosed in higher volume due to the slower absorption rate from muscles. They don't have subcutaneous numbers, which I would expect to see similar spikes but higher levels at similar doses due to the relatively higher absorption rate direct from fat.   Are you doing pills, shots, or patches? And when you do get your levels checked are you getting that done when your levels are lowest or some other time?
