@KymmieL sorry about that. I'm shocked it took that much. That be very simple.

Yeah, All that bull cookies for something as simple as a morning off to go to an appointment. And I don't even care about the lost 4 hours.

Later this afternoon, The acting manager wants to talk with me. (what did I do wrong now) It was about my missed time clock punches.  Then she tells me that the new driver isn't doing what he needs to on his shift (7:30-4:30) getting everything ready for delivery when the second driver gets in at 8. So, not only am I off Weds but I may change my schedule to be in at 7:30-4:30. Don't really know why the FNG got the first shift. While I was stuck with the 9-6 shift. then they changed me to 8:30-5:30. The Asst manager is going to talk with the new store manager when he gets back next Wed. He is having veracious vain operation tomorrow.

That place has gotten really screwed up when I was gone.

Hugs,

Kymmie

@KymmieL What you're going through is pretty typical of poor management all across the US.  No wonder most people hate their jobs.  Give some people a bit of power...and they red tape everything beyond what we'd think possible.  And the result?  Turnover!  Companies cry all the time about turnover and money lost on training, but I guess its still cheaper to treat existing employees like crap.  And have you ever noticed how companies put out ads that say something like "competitive pay" but won't give a number?  That's pretty much a dead giveaway that the pay is no better than the awful place next door.  I swear somebody should write a satirical "glossary" of employment-related terms.

My husband's company doesn't do that stuff.  Employees and management get the exact same salary raises (or cuts), the same benefits, and the exact same vacation policy.  Brief medical appointments are always approved with documentation, and are called a "semi-absence" and can simply be made up by extra time on a project without counting against an employee's attendance.  At one point the owners offered a raise to the project managers (my husband included) without offering a raise to general labor.  Unbelievably, the managers unanimously rejected the raise in protest.  Management actually advocates for employees to the company owners, and managers are expected to have served time in labor in a related field so they can be proficient at employee tasks.  Funny thing?  There's no union, and turnover is so low they never have to advertise.  Even stranger - with the good pay and benefits, the company still makes a handsome annual profit.  Seems to me that there's no reason (besides greed) for companies to screw over their workers.

Good morning 🤗

My hairdresser recommended a Diffuser attachment for my hairdryer to really brings out my natural curls.

I have been experimenting with it for days now, and I finally figured it out.

My hair looks wonderful! 💋💋💋

Good morning, everyone!! My wife and I slept in a bit - very unusual for us but a needed slow-down. Even the dogs were unusually quiet and willing to wait for breakfast.

We're supposed to have rain showers today so no outside plans for me. I'm going to work on my journal and read some more of "By Her Own Design" - a book about Ann Lowe who was a black woman, granddaughter of slaves, who became a fashion designer for the social register and designed Jackie Kennedy's wedding dress.

I forgot to mention that I went to the hairdresser's on Monday. I've been growing mine out since January and it needed to be shaped desperately. My wife made an appointment for both of us with her hairdresser. She is a family friend so I had to present as male. I told her I wanted to let it grow out and part it somewhere left of middle...but that I didn't want to lose too much length. She worked miracles with minimally cutting the length. She shaped it into an androgenous look..without me asking her to...that has volume and shapes around my face similarly to my wig. The wig is just a little longer for now. I absolutely love it!!

Be safe and remember to look for the goodness in this beautiful day we've been given!!!

Today is nice because my hormones are in check with a new estrogen patch. I wished I could be in this euphoric mood forever. The only thing that stinks is seeing a lot of money going to bills but I'm ok with that. I'm at peace today.

One of the guys at the centre said, "wow, what did you do different to your hair today? Whatever you did, keep it up!"

I guess he likes it curled? I used the diffuser on it this morning and left it curly. 🤭

He's the one that asks me out all the time. 🤫💋💃

Persistent man. Is he annoying or do you like it to constantly come from him. Heck I would love that.

Very lucky!

If he wouldn't insist on meeting me at a BBQ full of his friends, I would have gone out already. 🤗

I'm not going to be by myself in a room full of guys, oh no! 😲

I'm happy for you, Ashley.  I know that took quite a bit of time and effort!

But just a bit of OPSEC advice...you might want to edit the photo so folks on the internet don't see your full name etc...  From identity theft to stalking, you never quite know what happens online.

Today was busy but successful.  My partner gave birth to a healthy baby girl!  Her water broke just after lunch.  We called our husband to come home ASAP, and the baby was born shortly after he arrived.  My partner's labor is usually pretty quick - 2 hours or less.  She's had a lot of experience 😏  In spite of relatively easy labor, she's pretty worn out at the end.  I wish she'd put more time between her pregnancies, but she's been adamant about no birth control of any sort (a personal religious thing).

So, I'll have some things to do at night when I'm awake.  One nice thing about her pumping breast milk is that any of us can feed the baby.  Especially in the beginning so that my partner can sleep and recover instead of being burdened with childcare right away.  Luckily, her kids tend to be easy and quiet and most sleep through the night early, if not immediately.  Unlike GF's kids, who have all been pretty difficult.

While I love stuff like this, it also gives me a little feeling like I'm missing out... that my intersex body prevented me from being a "real" girl because it tried to be a boy instead.  And I tried so hard for a solid year to get pregnant...before finding out that it wouldn't be possible or safe for me.  I probably wouldn't have been a particularly good biological mother, so step-parenting is a better role for me.  But still, I think about it.

I understand this to a point.

Two years of testosterone treatments have left their mark on me, and something 'I never wanted' (parents choice).

I was however lucky enough that my intersex male equipment did function well enough to produce 3 children of my own.

Strange enough, my 'stepchildren' are much closer to me.

Good morning   so much happened since my last visit and that was just yesterday.  Back to 4am today, off tomorrow my schedule bounces around all week but Friday morning I leave for my weekend of Lay ministry school.    let’s see, guy who wanted to see your DL, run away and block that one.  Doesn’t sound right to me. Sorry for your losses this week.  Always sad to loos a good friend they are so hard to come by, and same is true with cousins, although I never knew any of mine.     One thing I don’t have and never will is a LBD. Too old to do one any justice.  Besides where does one hide the 45?     Don’t meet a stranger without one!   well gotta try to walk the dog.  It’s raining but not cold.     and don’t take everything I say to heart.  Sometimes my sense of humor is a lot worse than I realize.  LOL   Willow

Welcome to Trans Pulse, Sarah.  I think this site will live up to your expectations as a friendly, supportive and knowledgeable place.  I know that transition can be stressful and daunting and we've all been where you are now at some point.  I do hope that you are seeing, or have seen, a gender therapist or at least and M.D. to ensure that your hormone use is safe and appropriate.  We want everyone to be safe, because hormones can be dangerous if not done correctly with good supervision.  If you don;t have a gender therapist, that would be help to add to your tool kit, too.   Please ask any questions that come to mind.  The only thing we can't answer is about hormone dosages.  Please have a look around and enjoy your time here.   HUGS   Carolyn Marie

This one is not that far "off the wall." They just consider us mentally ill anyway.  We need to be corrected somehow - kinda like the Chinese do with the Uyghurs.  Time to break out the pink triangles.

hi i guess this is where i tell you about myself and some goings on. my quick and dirty trans history about 20 off years ago I confessed to my best friend about wanting to be a girl she was super supportive said she'd get everyone to use whatever name I want and treat me like one of the girls at the time I didn't know transitioning really existed the LGBT was really just an LG so I didn't think it was actually possible to more than cross dress and dismissed the idea and forgot about until 6 years ago I met a transwoman in a Discord community which and awoken 20 year old memories, a few years later after self debate I admitted to myself that I was trans eventually came out to a few people and in October of last year started taking hormones. The actually transitioning is taking time I duelmode mainly being my true self at home for right now. How I ended up here: I wasn't prepare for the hormones which have been a struggle wild mood swings and just constant anxiety attacks, I've only recently been able to clear my head and quell my anxiety with medication enough to function. I had some bad moment and alienated myself from some people dear to me and I'm questioning whether to keep going or not. I've been doing a lot to improve my situation picking myself up doing self care but I realize I can't do this on my own so I've been adding to my support network, people in my circles, support groups and communities like here. From what I read so far this feels like a wonderful community and I look forward to being apart of it. Thank you

All I can do is shake my head. This will be followed by the other 19 R states soon enough. They are more persistent than piranha. A few days ago I received an email from a recruiter trying to recruit me to a hospital in Oklahoma. I told them that I was a transgender female and would not consider Oklahoma. The recruiter could have cared less.   Sadly, I am not sure the rest of the public really cares what happens to us. There is going to be some massive pain down the road regardless of who wins the national election. I think the next logical move is that they will try to roll back the insurance coverages we gained with private insurers.   Short of a huge blue wave hitting the country, they have zeroed in on us. I just wonder if there will be Schutzstaffel troops coming to take us away. Seems like the only missing piece.

Had fun and he was great to me treating me right.Loved the LBD I was wearing.I am much happier including him.Said he has found the right transgender woman in his life,me.

Ivy, these folks are beyond psychotic. Make America Germany Already. You could not make this stuff up. I am waiting for an initiative to be launched requiring us to go to a re-education camp, and receive forced HRT of our birth gender. Sometimes there are no words that one can express...
