Good evening

Well we are short a worker.  Our second shift lead has been let go for failing to come to work without notice.  That changed my hours for tomorrow and could change my start time back to 4:15 at least a couple days a week.  Is what it is I suppose.

I’m not sure I mentioned yesterday but I finished my paper. Just need to fix some formatting issues and rerun spell ckeck.  And lastly create a bibliography.

right now I have asked a couple of people to review it.

@KymmieL id love to have your hot weather.  Upper 80s and 90s expected for the rest of the summer.  Along with tropical storms or worse.

Well, good on you.  I would never have the patience for that.  I hope it is well received.

I've been mostly wasting my time, watching the latest Bridgerton episode.  I have a weakness for trashy romance books and flicks, I'll admit it.

I've always been like that.  I used to hide it when I was trying to live as a man, but now I just embrace my depravity.

Have a good night y'all.

The stock market seems a little weird to me too.

I'm into it, not in a big way though, and never over my head. Yes, it is nonsensical, with prices being driven either by fear or greed instead of intrinsic value. And that's really frustrating for old fashioned folk like me who try and invest for the right reasons instead of gambling on share price movements!

Sounds like my secret little crush for The Bold and the Beautiful! 😄

Good Friday Morning

Well, I can’t believe I’m up this early.  Ok it not that early but I usually sleep in when I can.  (At least until 8 or 9.).

I opened a new bag of coffee beans today.  Costco branded French dark.  It’s pretty good!  I’d give it a thumbs up but our editor doesn’t like emojis.

after my wife has her home health nurse appointment we are going back to Costco.  We have a number of clothing items to return. And hopefully nothing to purchase.  Seems odd to make a trip just to return but it happens particularly with clothes.

quiet morning, I guess all the neighbors are still sleeping.

slow morning so I’ll just sit back and enjoy my coffee.

hugs

I have a little toy that would change that, quickly. :D

Had a good season with my therapist, yesterday. Seems like only one more before she leaves. Hopefully in person. She has been the best I have had, we just clicked. She hand picked the therapist who is taking over my case. I hope we click as well.

Still no news on the job front. For unemployment's sake, I need to put in for a least a couple a week.

Well, looks like out over night trip next week has expanded. Tuesday we head to Kearney, NE to see REO Speedwagon. Original plan was just ride home Weds. Since the wife has taken the week off. ( She had vacation needed to burn.) She wants a longer ride. We will be doing a big loop. Hitting the Harley Dealers in Sioux City, IA. then Sioux Falls, Watertown, Wall, Rapid City, Sturgis, Deadwood, and Hill City, South Dakota. Then home.

All I need to do is change the primary oil. Then we are ready to ride.

Well, just waiting on delivery of the new brake drum for the van. Then the seals, bearings, and brakes will be done.

Hugs, To all.

Wopila Tonka Unci Maka! For this glorious morning where the breeze whispers with the fragrance of Summersweet through the pines, the birds sing & the squirrels chatter "Good morning!”

Its almost 1am here... so, Good Morning.  Ugh.

Not asleep yet.  It has been quite a day.  I went out to the hardware store with GF this morning, and I ended up having my first full panic attack.  I've gotten stressed out before, but this one was BIG.  IDK what caused it either, since I don't remember the beginning.  But all of a sudden I was just really scared, heart racing, and really cold.  I couldn't think or do anything, just looking for a place to run and curl up.  GF put me in her lap until I calmed down, and when she first tried to handle me she said it was like I didn't even recognize her.  But I was a mess all morning and into the afternoon.  Finally took a nap, something about adrenaline makes me tired.

Now I'm wondering if this is going to happen again.  Leftover issues from being assaulted?  Something related to TBI?  My husband is talking about therapy and I'm thinking I really don't want that. :(

REO Speedwagon twice on one tour, sounds like a group to me.  Hey she’s off, you need to have some downtime, just let her call the shots and go with it. Sounds like fun!

@awkward-yet-sweet wow a full on panic attack did this happen before or after the hardware store?  Certainly something triggered it to be this bad. Glad your GF was there for you.  Take care of yourself, I know all about wanting to avoid therapy.  I was like that for many years.  You can’t do it until you are ready.

Wow, I didn’t realize just how much working different hour would affect me.  Last night was a killer.  Knees hurt, feet hurt, give me back my mornings!  Ok this week is going to be all mixed up as we get the schedule straightened out.  At least we have two new people whom I think will work out. One doesn’t need any guidance and the other has things to learn but he’ll get there.  The bad part is we really don’t have anyone who can handle the second shift lead position

We the puppy got me up at little past five. UGH. But I was dead so once both the dogs were out and fed. I headed back to bed. Still tired but doing alright. just waiting on the wake up juice to finish. Then get a cup or three into me. then hit the road.

Hugs,

It was afterwards, in the parking lot.  I started feeling anxious inside, but it got way worse after leaving the store.  I have no idea what triggered it.... maybe loud noises or something I saw?

As for therapy, I have tried therapists before and my experiences have ranged from unhelpful to actually making things worse.  Finding somebody who can understand me is nearly impossible, so I have relied on my husband.  He's good for normal stuff, but if I end up needing a referral to someone else that's not something he can help me with.

Happy Father’s day

Father's Day - a set of mixed feelings for me.  Today we honored my husband and his father, both excellent men who do so much for their family.  I enjoy that, and I got a laugh because working is so much a part of my husband's nature, he couldn't even sit down and let us take care of cooking and cleaning...he just can't rest if somebody is working.  :stir:

Of course, today also carries with it the bitter memories of my own father, who never really wanted me.  I'm glad that my stepkids are getting something better.

Good morning

I guess everyone had something happening, I’ve never heard so many crickets on hear  at the same time I do realize the Father’s Day brings with a lot of memories.  Some good.  Some not so good and with that I’ll drop the subject.  I hope everyone survived the day.

Speaking of Father's Day, I never realized until today that it is commemorated on different dates depending on where you are in the world! Here, it is the first Sunday in September! But our Mother's Day is the same as the rest of the world! I have no idea why there is inconsistency.

I got a text from one kid, a lunch and visit from the other kid, and the old "I'm not a lesbian so maybe we should divorce" speech from my legal spouse. So a mixed day for me.

Good morning everyone,

I had a lot of catching up to do here today. I’ve been away from social media for nearly a week camping at a Bluegrass Festival at Bill Monroe Campgrounds in Beanblossom, IN. Father’s Day gift from my son was that he and my grandson broke camp and readied the camper for departure. My daughter shipped me a tablet or phone holder and a supply of French Lavender Sachets for my drawers and bathroom. She is my biggest supporter and understands my situation in transition.

Hugs for y’all

Monday after vacation sucks.

It ended with a small non-holiday get together and started with me reffing and getting wicked tan lines. In between we were working toward our move and met with a realtor. It was a busy as heck Sunday.

Hmmm.... maybe send her this one?

At least from what I've seen, it seems like the majority of women are somewhat "flexible" when it comes to relationships and sex, so "I'm not a lesbian" could be a convenient excuse rather than the whole truth. :?
