I never had a father figure to follow by example. I learned how to be a parent by movies and tv shows. I think my youngest son might be trans. I hope he isn't because this life is extremely hard. He told me he didn't want to be a boy and he liked girls. I will love her of course but I don't wish this on anyone.

My bio father was not good to me,out of my life at age 10 and called me a nobody

Sounds like he could have kept company with my father.  I was always a disappointment.  I was either supposed to follow a law enforcement career or become the "ideal" wife and mother, married to a husband approved of by my parents.  They basically disowned me in my 20s when I turned out to be an artist and a lesbian.  And they'd probably like me even less now in my boy form.

They say the best revenge is to live well.... I've been doing that ever since I left them.

My father used to call me a disappointment, in deformed. He said my life would never go anywhere and that I was living in his Shadows.

Tired of being put down all the time I left my hometown at about 19. Struck out to make the life of my own. Every time I left my father's control my life took a turn for the better financially and socially, but he would call me and ask me to come back saying he needed me and I was right back in the Rut that I left. He had a family owned business and he needed the free help. Every aspect of my life had to be controlled by him.

I finally took him to lunch one day and told him that if I continued working with him we would end up being enemies for life, and is to both of ours advantage that I leave on good terms and keep a good rapport. After that, I would help him out upon occasion for free just because but I never work for him again. Out of three children I'm the only one still in contact with my father.

There are still some hard feelings, as he was the one that found me a doctor to put me on testosterone and send me down the path of boy mode (I'm intersex). The testosterone treatments were like poison to my system. I got off of the testosterone as soon as I moved out of my father's house.

End results, I love my father and I care about him but I don't trust him. Loving him from a distance is so much easier than loving him close up.

Well it has been going smoothly so far. I did have one woman who tried to blackmail me but she couldn't do anything. Past relationships have taught me valuable lessons on not trusting people till they can prove otherwise. Looking forward to the Zoom chat tonight. I haven't been able to lose any weight. I gained 11 pounds unfortunately and have reminded the VA about gastric bypass surgery. Hopefully they'll take me seriously this time. It has now been two weeks without anything to help control my diabetes. I wish they were better at their jobs. It's really pathetic how we get treated.

Good LATE Saturday morning

Yes, finally a weekend off, the whole weekend!  Slept in watched my favorite Friday night TV.  It was very nice, but I can’t get used to this it won’t last long.  I usually watch those shows after they aired on an app when I have time.

@Hailey I learned construction, cabinet making, car repair, and a whole lot of other skills watch the people my dad hired or a neighbor.  I have built 2nd story decks with a permit and inspection anchored to the wall.  My son an I built an over 400 sq ft deck again permitted and inspected.  I’ve made furniture (Shaker style with dovetails) and I’ve done some relatively major engine repairs on cars and boats.  Now, it’s the simple things a can of Barsleak here and splice a wire there.  I don’t even do my own oil changes anymore, although I may put new brake pads on one of my Caddy’s.

Speaking of parents, my father wasn’t absent from our home, nor was he abusive by most definitions, but he was absent from my early life.  He left for work before we got up, arrived home late afternoon.  We ate together and he went to his bedroom to listen to classical music until he went to bed.  The one thing he taught me was a love for classical music.  He was around for holidays, and took us out to dinner one night a week at nice places but he never played with me, never taught me anything physical like woodworking or the like which was his only hobby.

I wasn’t mistreated by any definition I was just left alone to learn my own way in life.  Before he died, he did make me the head of the family and made me promise to take care of my mother.  My brother in law didn’t like that much.  Nor did my sister.  (I was the youngest) but that was the tradition of the Stewart’s going back centuries.

We need to do some shopping today. The cupboard is getting bare.

Willow.

Will be out as Hailey, have a photoshoot done to update my modeling profile this afternoon. I model when dressed as Hailey doing this since I was 18.I love it as well and a new clothing designer wants to meet me there as well. Found out she is going to have a show next year and wants me to be one of her models. She is going to let me read the fine print and wants a LGBTQ person as one of her models.Have 3 other clothing designers that are going to be there as well

I had a good, late morning today.  I didn't even get out of my nest until 11am :D  Normally I'm up somewhat early, since there's too many chores to do around here.  But I was able to wake up naturally, without an alarm clock.  I was surprised to find my other partners gone, and my husband still with me.  He had me wrapped up so tight I never felt the others waking up.  He's had so much going on this month with all the drills and extra county work, sometimes going 2 or 3 days straight without sleep.  So, he's catching up on all the sleep (and fox snuggles) that he's missed.

Now GF is wanting me to go out with her, probably to check on a couple of her rental properties.  She's got her usual truck out front.  IDK why, out of all the nice vehicles she owns, she prefers to drive the ancient, noisy, camouflage abomination with "COUGAR" on the tailgate in big shiny letters.

Had the photoshoot and 3 of the designers offered me to model in their shows. The first one that was interested in me, going to do it in one show January of next year. The other two, came up to me and they use transgender and transsexual women including MTF crossdressers as their models, took their offer as well. One is in March and the other is in April. The 4th one passed on me calling me a weirdo, they kicked her out and told her she was not welcomed back. I am excited about this

@haileyThat is very exciting, I would love to eventually get into modeling once I’m comfortable with myself. Maybe further into my journey and start getting more courage. Congratulations again and I’m very proud of you I’m sure you’ll kill it.

They are and been to them as Hailey. Also glad I picked them knowing they are supportive. I have met other MTF crossdressers, MTF transgender and transsexuals over the years that I have a good friendship with. One is my friend Tricia whom is also a part time crossdresser finding she will be modeling in the March and April shows. One dress, will be a custom made sparkly black halter top dress for the after show

But, if you're an old lady what am I? I think we're just well-seasoned women.

Day 7 of our thrash at work. 7 more to go until I get 2 days off. yeppy skippy. Make or break inspection the 11-12 luckily I won't be there. Only work 6 hours like yesterday.  At least not a 12. thankfully. Supposed to go back to normal shifts on the 13 or so they say.

Gonna be a good pay check. but won't have time to enjoy it. OH, well.

It has been a good day so far. Decided to go to church as Hailey once again. One church member asked me where I got the skirt I am wearing and told her.

Its been a pretty relaxing Sunday.  Raining here, and since harvest is complete we haven't had much outside work to do.  I've just been sitting with my husband in his shop tonight.  He hasn't had much leisure time the last couple of months, but he heated up the forge and he's been doing some steel work.  He's actually a talented blacksmith when he has the time - something he has been doing since he was a teenager.  He does more agricultural stuff than anything else, but tonight he's working on a short sword blade, a Christmas present for GF.  Its kind of mesmerizing to watch him heat the metal, hammer it, heat it again, over and over.

While he's been doing that, I've been making charcoal.  We made a barrel kiln out of a 55 gallon drum, and my husband got a bunch of wood from a willow tree earlier this year.  A neighbor needed it removed, so we did it for free just for the wood.   The big chunks get used for the forge.  Small stuff will be ground to make black gunpowder.  And a few pieces of just the right quality I can use for art :D  I haven't drawn with charcoal since my school days, so I'm going to try something new.

Good morning

@awkward-yet-sweet No, please don’t say it!  You’re burning up my sister.  lol

you certainly are very self sufficient.

no rain here, we could use some but not the hurricane type.  We are hoping that is over for this year.

ill be glad when this election is over.  I’m really tired of all the hate ads and everything else.  Why can’t we get back to one country under God with liberty and Justice for all.

Yeah, the election has been kinda rough.

A little drizzle here this morning.  The first since Helene.  I guess I'll find out about my roof in the next few days.  I'm pretty sure there's no serious problems, but…

Haven't been posting for a bit.

sitting at home most of the weekend fighting off a nasty bug.  also had to replace a refrigerator and discovered an interesting problem.

The Fridge is 29-3/4 inch wide, and so too is the door jambe to the house.

I wound up removing the doors, and yanking out the door jambes with still getting the fridge stuck halfway through.

Finally got it through and the old one out.

Slammed my right breast in the process and had to deal with that pain.

Then spent the rest of the day in bed!

What a fun weekend.

Too tight doorways are inconvenient.

Hope you're feeling better.

Hi TiffanyB,           so pleased that you are happy starting your journey!! gosh on hormones sooo quickly, I hope you continue to get the support that you need along your journey best wishes kat

yet ironically for me synthetic hormones produced the best outcome, i am very cautious under the current climate (and movement against the existence of transgender) We seem to have moved from the reason why we are taking hormone therapy and now as i call it in the UK we play the numbers game we seem to have become trapped in a range game (female range) rather than our real reason is to align our bodies not to match a female hormonal range .

Finally got my butt out of the house again.  I'd been hiding at home for at least a week - other than the grocery store and getting propane for the heaters. I've just been really depressed to be honest.  I should stop looking at the news. I made myself go to the coffee shop to hang out around people for a bit.

Yeah, I'm for the right one myself.  Looks a bit more natural to me - just my opinion of course.

Mom finding more older pictures of me from the past. One was me dressed as tv show character Peg Bundy, this was in 1999 and I got a lot of attention from it.I remembered it too was out with friends going to a halloween  party.

I shall absolutely flip there is nothing more annoying in my book than someone calling you the wrong gender or using the wrong pronouns specially when said person knows what the correct ones are and has done for six years
