27 days drug free

while i was in a really bad head-space (i have BPD) i became reliant on drugs. but now im very happy to say that i am 27 days drug free!! i wanted to share this with you guys to show that there is hope if you're struggling with drug addiction. you CAN recover, and its in you to make the first step

Congratulations Beth!  There are others here who have struggled with addiction and found sobriety.  Please don't hesitate to reach out if you need help or simply to know you're not alone.  We have a substance abuse meeting at the chatrooms and there are TGAA meetings you would find welcoming as well.  Most of the folks there have had drugs as well as alcohol in their stories.  I know drugs were part of my problem with addiction.

We do it one day at a time, but it is worth every day and every minute to be clean and sober.  It is the only way to truly get to know ourselves and to have hope and direction for our future.  I am sure that everyone of us who has posted here so far would love to be part of your support team if you need us.
