Is This Price About Right For Laser?

I was quoted a price for laser on my face at $99 / session or a package of 6 sessions for $499.

Is that about on par with what you ladies are paying for it?

Wow! i'm getting ripped off? Last year where I go a four pack (full face and neck) was $1000, and $250. for a single session. Prices went up this year, now they want to charge me $350. for a single session. I've had 7 treatments so far. My doctor uses an ELOS laser...supposed to work on all hair colors and skin colors. Maybe that's why so much? I'm about ready to switch to electrolysis for touching up.

I paid $1900 for an 8, monthly-treatment program with two years of monthly follow-ups from American Laser. They threw in doing the bridge of my nose between my eyebrows and even guarantee to remove any skin darking that results from the laser! The clinic is run out of the #1 skin therapy center in Tidewater VA. My wife loved them, and they gave me the family discount, so how could i say no :)

I've only done 2 sessions, so it's too early to tell if I am going to have any problems with the gray in my beard (I'm 48). The pain isn't too bad. Just like the rubber band snap everyone describes it as. It helps to shave super super super good with a new razor, up, down and sideways before your session. Use their after laser lotion for a day or two after treatment, stay out of the sun aand SPS 30 EVERYDAY so you don't get any tan and you shouldn't have any problems.

Good luck!

wow nice! I just got back from a consult and she said it's normally $2850, but they are doing 50% off, so 1425 BUT its like a contract and i have to go to them. And i have to either do a credit check through some company or through them (with a fat deposit)..as far as i am concerned that's a HUGE bargain!

WOW Lizzie - grab that deal!

I am on elctrolysis - my sessions of 1 hr are $55 each. I have had two one hour sessions and three double. The eyebrows are fixed, the ears, and about half the upper and lower lip. But I have yet to work on the sides and under the chin. I figure at least another 20 sessions.

Lizzy grab that offer up quick, my sessions are $500.00 but I'm getting face and neck done, she told me the ones after July will not cost me anything.

I'm having my eyebrows done too and that's $50.00 a session, don't need many of those thank goodness.

Sounds like a good offer, I'm paying 200 euros per session (in France).

Be sure to ask what crystal they're using, if it's an alexandrite, you've got the best solution for (male) facial hair. Anything else you risk a much higher return rate (which means just more sessions to clear your face).

Well yesterday didn't work like I wanted to. I met a guy and started talking and he was wanting to be in a relationship. I asked my kids on how they thought of me dating a man and they said gross and said no. I guess it's time to look for women. I think that is going to be harder. Oh well I guess.

This topic reminds me of the lyrics to the Beatles song, "A Little Help From My Friends."   "What do you see when you turn out the lights?"   "I can't tell you but I know it's mine."   Carolyn Marie

@Ivy have you read the actual document?   Has anyone else out there read it?
    • Abigail Genevieve
I am reading the Project 2025 document https://www.project2025.org/policy/   This will take some time.  I read the forward and I want to read it again later.   I read some criticism of it outside here and I will be looking for it in the light of what has been posted here and there.  Some of the criticism is bosh.   @MaeBe have you read the actual document?

      No problem!

Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).
