Great to see casting like this! Spiderman is one of my favorite Superheros and I really enjoy the Tom Holland version. I was a little surprised by the female pronouns used in the article, when it seems Zach's transmasculinity would call for male or neutral ones.

The comments on that article are garbage, btw. I made the mistake of reading them because I wondering if anyone else noticed the pronoun thing. But there was just a ton of hate and religious bigotry and a #$&@ ton of ignorance.

Fun fact: Tom Holland has said he supports the head cannon idea of his version of Peter Parker being a trans male, and is famous for cross dressing on an episode of Lip Sync Battle. 

 

This is really cool, though. It makes me happy that Marvel is being so inclusive with their casting choices. It also makes me sad because I know people are not going to let their kids watch this movie when they hear about this because they will claim Marvel is "pushing the gay agenda" on their children.
