The Newest Fashion Accessory

Well, I guess once the dust settles and we get back to a more-normal way of life, we may have to add a new fashion accessory to our wardrobes: the virus mask.  Wearing a mask in public may become the new normal, so I'm thinking I'll need one for every occasion.  I'll need a casual one, one for when I'm dressed in ladies business attire, oh and I can't forget a mask for formal events. 

 

Classical fashion guidelines have always mandated we match our shoes and handbags, so I'm wondering if this should apply to masks as well.  But, perhaps it would be better if I pick a mask so it compliments the blouse or dress I'm wearing?  I'd certainly want to feminize whatever mask I chose to wear, so I'm thinking maybe a little attached bow would be cute.  Instead of a bow, however, I might also be able to enhance the mask's femininity with jewelry, like a butterfly pin.

 

Ultimately, I think I want to be ahead of the fashion curve when this latest trend hits, so it's important to plan ahead!?

Ugh. I really hope not. I hate breathing through a mask. I guess I'll just never leave the house again. ?

 

Though I've seen PLENTY of ads for masks in various designs and patterns over the last couple of weeks. One or two even fit my aesthetic.

My pink mask.  I usually wear these in the winter when cold air causes issues for my heart when I’m working.  Today they unfortunately have another use.  NJ is getting hit pretty hard so as both my wife and I have health issues we try to be as careful as possible
