Pre HRT, give me some advice!

A simple post as I'm new and extremely anxiety prone. This is me, the only thing  I have changed is the length of my hair (digital wig). How do you think HRT will effect me and do I have a chance of passing? Much love ❤️

Tone the eye make-up down (wrong color for the hair -- ) and you will do fine in my estimation.

You'll be fine. Look at all the disparate sizes and shapes of the women around you. It's all good.

Vicky's right about the eye makeup though. It could definitely match your hair better. Or you could just dye your hair black and go goth. Whatever you think is the best fit.

Hugs!

Hi Holly!  Welcome and nice to meet you!
Well, I am the last transfeminine person here who should give makeup advice.  As I have told others before, after I try to put on eye makeup it looks like I've been in a bar fight ?

But, being new on this Forum you will find lots of great posts, advice and experience about your questions on HRT (I haven't started HRT yet, but I am convinced now it will likely help my dysphoria/anxiety issues).  Also, gender therapy is another common recommendation.

We are all here to support each other and have the same goal ... to be happy❣️

I think you will pass easily but perhaps i'd suggest looking at other women's makeup (not in magazines).  Most do little or no makeup beyond lipstick or a bit of powder.  When i was first going out i over did it but time has made me realize less is often better.

Hugs,

Charlize

Ok, I tried another one with the digital wig but otherwise just natural makeup. I'm sensitive but I want people to be critical, things are so overwhelming at the moment and I'm genuinely after opinions. Much love ❤️

@Holly92 Due to your younger age and current feminine looks and with some nicely done makeup, proper feminine movements and gestures, and a real wig, you could easily pass as you are right now without HRT.  With HRT it’s almost a no brainer.  Voice does add an additional dimension and is needed if you want to pull it off completely. It wouldn’t take you long to blend with just a little effort and time.

Put on a shirt girl! This isn't that kind of site!

You look fine. I've seen cis women that look less like a woman than you do while I'm out running errands. With a little makeup, you could be a knockout.

Hugs!

I am reading the Project 2025 document https://www.project2025.org/policy/   This will take some time.  I read the forward and I want to read it again later.   I read some criticism of it outside here and I will be looking for it in the light of what has been posted here and there.  Some of the criticism is bosh.   @MaeBe have you read the actual document?

      *older, not holder, oops :P

      No problem!

Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).

I will have arrived when I have a b*tch certificate of my own.  I think someone called me one once.

Good morning everyone,   It’s Thursday well as least I took my Thursday Medications as sorted out in my weekly dispensary caddy. Today’s coffee is Folgers Breakfast Blend served HOT, black and strong. My wife and I are going to explore the Western and Southern coasts of Saginaw Bay and hang out in Bay City, MI. today.    @Willowonce @Abigail Genevievepointed out the word usage in your post. I read it and laughed, enjoying the snarky tone of the comment. Since it was spelled correctly I thought maybe you meant for it to read just as you typed it. Then the kinder gentler me thought it would be better if I changed it. I’m not saying I corrected it, I just changed the severity of the sentence.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
