Breast growth?

Yes it was a men’s t-shirt.  Honestly I usually don’t wear a shirt.  Yes I would like to wear something else in bed, but I have renegotiated or ignored enough other rules , that one shall reman sacred, at least fo now.

Sunday afternoon.  We are supposed to get storms and I had to make some adjustments for my boat before they hit. That means male work clothes so I wore a sports bra.  Definitely prevented any chafing.

I am definitely having more erect nipples and some swelling behind them.  That’s where the pain is for me.

I can’t decide if I’m getting general breast growth or not.  My self measurement can vary between 41 ½ and 43. The 41 was what it was all along. 43 would definitely indicate growth.

There is a fabric that uses bamboo in its makeup (I think its called Viscose?) and it is divine in its soft feel next to my skin.

I'm going to have to look into that! So far, I've been thrilled with the soft feel of the clothes I've gotten from Torrid...(well, except for the one chiffon top I got. I love the design, and its still softer than the guy stuff I usually wear, but it has zero stretchyness. The lack of any stretchyness kinda makes it feel like paper, only more durable. Chiffon seems much more suited to gowns than shirts.) So far my favorite material seems to be a mix of predominantly "modal" (a big improvement on rayon, apperently). So soft and light!

Erm, so I guess it's a 50/50 mix of modal and cotton.

Even though I don't openly dress feminine at home, I have totally converted to wearing women's nightwear exclusively.
I just cannot feel comfortable anymore in men's pj's or shorts.

I've pretty much done that too. (Same with panties. My usual el cheapo men's briefs are just so boring, uncute and chaffier than my feminine collection. And don't even get me started on boxers!) It's kind of ironic since I never used to like wearing anything to bed other than basic underwear. Last time I wore pajamas was probably the 80's! My usual rule is "The less clothing I can manage without, the better."

But last year, I bought myself a couple of kinda sultry nightgowns, and one of them in particular just feels so nice to wear that lately, I've been wearing it to bed more often than not. So comfy and soothing...mmm...?

Only problem is, I have enough trouble getting out of bed even in normal conditions. But now, there's all the more reason to stay in bed because I don't want to take off my nice comfy nightie and put on thick rugged, boring, neck-choking boy clothes!

Hello!

well my doctor confirmed I have started growing breasts.  His words, this is just like a teen starting.  I was hoping for that diagnosis.

I guess everything was primed and ready, but just needed that boost of DEP.

Now you just need to find a bra that makes them look nice. I was looking in the mirror today and the one I'm wearing is doing me NO favors.

HiJackie

I have been wearing Soma bras.  Originally purchased when i was flat and using breastforms.  But with some early changes, the breastforms looked unnaturally big and pushed the cups out.  So still wearing the same bra but with a push-up pad to fill in the blanks.

Soma are well made, soft and come in lots of styles and colors.  I have ones that hide the side fat, move it front.

what would be best for me now would be a padded A cup but it’s hard to find that with a 40 band size.

Yup, I own one of those. Crystal and I had a discussion with a friend of mine today about how it's hard to find things that fit tall girls. Crystal is only 5'8", but we share a shoe size. Ray, our friend who needed convincing, is 5'3". I keep TELLING her how hard it is to find stuff in my size, but...

At least Crystal can find bras. ? I own like three that have a decent fit. One's padded. It's purple and I love it.

Hugs!

Something I never thought about, driving. I love driving. I usually drive with one hand on the wheel. A habit I picked up driving manual. Yesterday I had to go out on a service call for work. I noticed I was having a little trouble steering, making a full circle with only one hand on the wheel. Something’s getting in the way. As I made a slow sharp turn into the driveway it hit me. It’s my girls getting in the way. Now I have to (happily) relearn some aspects of driving. Maybe no donuts or drifting corners in the snow for me this year.

Some things you never think about, until they're a thing.

I've been noticing this sort of thing lately myself.  I kinda like it.

I just realized I lost SIX INCHES off my band size between the last time I measured myself and now. Granted that still means my band is 42" but that's BETTER...

Congratulations Jackie  loosing weight and or inches is always a good thing.

Liz, I'm pretty sure I've got a long way to go before that happens again.  Oh, yes that happened to me wearing breast forms once or twice.  Now, no more breast forms so its going to take time to get enough size again.

Jandi, yes it is a nice feeling.  Never having any prior experience with this, I just wanted confirmation that is was growth and not something else.  Can't ask my wife because she isn't happy about this.

So, @Jackie C. If you don't mind, where did you find large band A cup and what brand bra do you like.

Hugs

They were all lucky amazon buys.

Technically this is a B, but it fits pretty well. T-shirt bras rock, but I need more support on the sides.

Hi @Willow -

I have a 42A for the second link @Jackie C. posted.  Glamorise brand #3010, comes in 40A also.  I LOVE that bra❣️  Its the only one I own that gives me shape and some cleavage for my non-HRT self.

I kind of feel like the odd girl out on this. I can find my size in most stores. Granted there's not a lot of choices. Feeling I'm over-all a lot smaller than I ever realized.

I suppose it doesn’t help being 5’10” and 190. Not fat by any stretch just large   You can feel my ribs.  My sister was 5’7” and very athletic.  I doubt she ever weighed more than 135.

I definitely need a bra that covers the sides otherwise I end up with a very uncomfortable roll pushed out between the bra and my underarm.  If you pull that into the cup it helps fill the volume.  Just reach in with your fingertips and gently lift your breast up an pull the side growth in.  I always measure a size or two bigger than I can actually fill.

I can find my size in most stores also. The other day I went to a store called Soma I was actually fitted. That was great lol. They have you put on a sports bra with sensors on it and it measures you. They told me I was a 40c but I ended up with a 38d and they fit great and it gives me a little bit of room to grow since they definitely not stopped.

I need bra help. I been staring to have trouble keeping the straps up. I tried tightening them but I can't go very far before it starts pulling the whole thing up. I'm not spilling out of the cups at all but the thing I noticed is the apex of my bra(s) is about 1-1/2 inches below an imaginary line between my armpits. I don't know if it should be this low. Google has been completely useless. I feel if the straps were closer together or the apex was higher the problem would go away. I'm thinking I need to go up a cup size. Anyone?

This used to happen to me a lot early in my transition. I wasn’t quite big enough for an B cup and my breast tissue was not filling the cups enough. Of course, all the nice bras I wanted didn’t come in A cup sizes. Eventually when I grew enough to fit into most B cups, the issue disappeared for the most part. But adjusting the straps never helped much and it started to pull up too much from under my breasts if I did.

You might just try some of these until they fill out your current bra. Alternatively, you might order half cup sizes through a company that sells them like ThirdLove

Thanks @Susan R. You understand exactly what I'm going through. The straps on my bras can be hooked together but then they are too close and you can see them unless I wear a crew or v-neck. Those strap holders may be the answer. I've looked around thirdlove. I heard they're really good and I should give them a chance.

EXCITEMENT The feeling when you expect something good or nice will happen to you. You cannot wait for it to happen. You feel excitement when something very nice is about to happen. For example, when you are about to see a good friend who just returned from a year abroad, when you just received the keys for your new car, or when you are waiting in line for a thrilling rollercoaster ride. In each case, you are experiencing eagerness and impatience in expectation of the upcoming pleasant experience. Excitement is more likely when the anticipated experience is both novel or unique and desirable. It is especially intense if you have been waiting for a long time to obtain the goal, or when excitement is shared with other people and the event makes you feel like you are part of something bigger.

I went to work with my husband today.  He asked me this morning if I wanted to go...of course I said yes.  I enjoy being with him, and getting away from the house for a little while.  He spent half the day in his office, which I think is why he asked me along.  He made a nest in the corner for me, where I can plug in my laptop and do my stuff...nobody minds me being there.     But today ended up with a strange opportunity.  I had a conversation with my husband's boss, the company owner.  They want some basic graphic design work done, so I think they might hire me to do it.  Nothing fancy, not nearly as complicated as what I've attempted to do for our county.  So I have a meeting with them on Monday, just to look at some details and see if I can do the work they want.  And especially talk about when they need it done, because I still work pretty slowly.  I don't really need or want the money, but its nice to feel like I can do something again.

I went to WM today with the objective of buying sandals: they would be women's, but look like men's; they would be brown or black, not white.  I realized the cheapest way to go  was to go for flip-flops, which I observed were prevalent in the store. So I checked out the women's.  Flowers. White shiny straps. Nothing that could possibly be men's. The best deal was one flip flop for $3.98.  At first I thought that was a pair, then, nope.  And because I comparison shop (is there the same thing in men's?) I found the cheapest over there was $6.98 for a pair of flip flops in green that also match my women's cargo shorts that I love.  Doing the math, finding the pink tax.  Rip off.  I have found a blue tax this way, but usually they charge women more for something than they do men. I guess women tend to lose one flip flop at a time or something. Weird.  The pairs were a lot higher.   So, following my rule, but unhappy with it, I bought the green men's flip flops.  They were the cheapest.  Later wife of mine complimented how masculine I look in my matching shorts and flip-flops.  Inward groan. We have not discussed the Subject in a long time because I think she forgets it is there as soon as the conversation ends.  Or she is trying to talk me out of this.  Not sure.  We only discuss it when necessary, and how often do most couples discuss whether one spouse is one sex or the other? Outside of here, I mean.  So we very seldom talk about it and she is happier if she does not know about it. Super stealth.  I do the laundry and I shower in the shower in the wing away  from the master bed room so I have my own shower.
