Is Anyone Familiar with this Surgeon?

I ran across some YouTube videos by Dr. Katherine Gast who is on the faculty of the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.  She specializes in (among other things) all the usual gender-related surgical procedures.

 

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with or feedback on her, particularly regarding FFS.

I have heard of her and it was OK for the person I heard from.  She is a little newer in the Trans stuff field, but may have a lengthy and good record for stuff that is not Trans specific that can give a clue.

I know two people who have had bottom surgery with Dr Gast. one also did breast augmentation with her.   They are very happy.  So are a Facebook group of her patients I'm told.  Post op surgery photos have been proudly posted.  My surgery consult is with Dr Gast in three weeks.  Putting together a list of questions for this.

I will be finding out more about her FFS procedures and preferred echniques.  As I mentioned, the folks I spoke with had GCS and one had BA.  She also offers FFS and I've been reading up on this to have a clue what to ask about.  There is bottom, top, and face available, but I would think it's rare that a surgeon would be specialized in everything...

In my case, GCS is most likely covered by insurance and possible.

Thanks @Ms Maddie!  I would be interested in hearing what you find out about her FFS work.  I am hoping her rates are a little more reasonable than, say, Deschamps-Braly.  I am also curious about whether she would accept as input an analysis from Alexandra Hamer at Virtual FFS.  By the way, in what part of Wisconsin do you live?  I am in the greater Milwaukee area.

Thanks Maddie for the sweet compliment.  It's a picture of me from 10 years ago fed through the FaceApp gender filter.  I think I can get there for real (or pretty close) even with the added years; my family seems to age slowly and live a long time . . . a very long time, actually -- the only downside is that we don't get out much during the day LOL.
