I Love Fall Fashions

Fall is by far my favorite season.  Here in the northeast it brings cool crisp temperatures, deep blue skies and spectacularly colored vistas.  But the thing I like best about fall are the fashions.  The heavier fabrics tend to lay more gracefully and the autumn hues are pleasing to the eye.  It’s the perfect time to wear boots and sweaters, which are always flattering.  I can wear blazers and jackets, which always lend a more refined look to whatever I choose to pair with them.  The cooler temps also let me wear hosiery more comfortably.  I have always considered stockings makeup for my legs, so as soon as the cooler weather arrives, I add them back into my wardrobe for a more polished look.

So, as autumn arrives, I’m excited at the prospect of being able to wear my favorite fashions.

I could wear that skirt!

Fall (autumn) for me is the time between bare legged summer and fleecy tights winter when I wear normal tights, and have to keep an eye on them for holes lol. It tends to be very variable but here winter is not usually that much colder than some fall days, for the most part, so it can be tricky to select the right clothes. That is fairly usual with UK weather altogether. This year I am buying little as I am not going out much for obvious reasons.

PSL, Sweaters and boots, what's not to love? I did some retail therapy this week, waiting for my haul of 2 plaid shirts, a long sleeve tee, a sweater and pink plaid flannel pj bottoms to arrive now. It's the start to the fall/winter wardrobe build.

I like that jacket! I’m really excited for fall outfits. I’m thinking it’s going to be leggings all fall and winter I cannot get enough of them. I would like to find a cute jacket come winter.

I love skirts. I only have one, but it's one of my most cherished and beloved pieces of clothing ever. The closest thing I have to leggings is one male's Under Armour bottom which I used to love wearing, but I gained too much weight since then and haven't lost enough yet to get back into it :(

I wished I had that complete outfit right now.

I love it!!!!

Very stylish.   ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

I agree with you, Sally.  Fall & winter are my favorite seasons for clothes, but here in the southwest it isn't cold for very long, usually.  I have a couple of sweater dresses, along with many, many sweaters.  One of my favorites is a duster, and another is a car coat.  I can't wear boots any longer b/c of my feet, but they've always been my favorites.  I have a few long skirts, too.

Happy shopping, everyone!

I've been starting to like fall and the fashions more and more over the last few years.  I have seen so many cute outfits but the one that sticks in my mind is a pair of Uggs, leggings and an oversized sweatshirt. Something about it. Maybe it's the simplicity or the "every girl" look, I don't know. There's just something I love about it.

I really want to get a skirt or two but I just can't decide. I'm drawn to mini and over the knee length ones when I should probably be looking at midis and maxis.

I do, at least, have a sweater dress I crocheted last year. Now that I have some semblance of a female body I can start wearing it.

A sweater dress would be cute. I’ve been drawn to cardigans so far. I have gotten 3 already. I’m pretty much hooked on leggings. I just wish I had the boots to go with them.

Liz,

You don't have to feel obligated to wear a midi or maxi skirt.  Maybe a real short mini isn't so appropriate, but I still wear fashionable above the knee skirts to satisfy my adventurous nature.  Pair a just above the knee hem skirt or dress with a pair of high-heels and you are rocking!

This was an angle that I was very suspicious of as well, and may be the hook on which the settlement was hung.      Not at all strange especially if they had former patients who moved there that still owed money on their bills or they were buying hospital supplies from a Texas corporation. They may have business licenses in other states as well.  Small loss, but saxeT shot itself in the foot there since the license was a source of income to the state.

Nah it's fine, I'm past the point of really blaming them most of the time. I've gotten used to it, and they could be a whole lot worse.   I'm glad you have a good place, though <3

I wonder about the professional knowledge level here.  Men have milk ducts.  She, as a nurse, should know this.  This is interesting  https://www.livescience.com/45732-can-men-lactate.html  Yes, men can lactate and have lactated, trans or cis.  The idea that Birdie does not have milk ducts or tissue is just plain wrong.  Her statement indicates that she has not looked at the medical record, which she should be familiar with to treat the patient.

Trans women can lactate under the right conditions. But that's not even the case in your situation.  It's so stupid how they simply refuse to accept your reality.

It takes a lot to make me that way. Then it depends on which side comes out. I could simply walk away or be very confrontational. I'm used to being made fun of and criticized. I don't take to kindly if someone talks about my kids or family though.

aren't folks odd ..just dress differently..like pick to be a boy for today instead of the girl you're screaming you are really..so that I can be more comfortable...needs   I'm sorry   I have family wedding this summer too..I've said for 2 years I'm not going n I've skipped holidays for that period..now I'm being told I'd best be there in boy mode...yeah right..laughs   sorry. I'm planning on once again skipping the event. until you'll let me attend as myself, I guess you dint really miss me that much .so I find something else to do n just accept the number of folks who unconditionally love me is a lot smaller than claimed.  oh well.   good luck sweetie

I suppose both sides can claim a win they didn't get.

Mia, forgive me, I should have introduced myself. Hi, I’m Bette. I work with trans youth and I have many young trans friends; the other day I was at a party with 30-40 of them. If you’re envious of young trans folks I understand; when I left that party I broke down in tears thinking of all I’d missed out on as a young person. But I was also happy for them, and if anyone were to try and take away their happiness I would fight for them with all my strength.   I don’t know you, but it seems to me you’re angry about more than just your inability to find help? I’m very sorry to hear that you are struggling, but I hope you are not blaming young trans folks for that. Imo there is a generation gap in the trans community and it needs healing, not exacerbating. We are far stronger when we are united.
