@Denisenj I'm so glad you never lost hope.  You are beautiful!

Jani

You know even the young girls  that meet Denise  say, I look beautiful .W hy did I wait to 62 to look beautiful. As Dennis I wasn't complemented even in my twenties or thirties  .To have someone say your gorgeous or beautiful this late in the game is overwhelming.  Thank you. If there was a cloud 10, I'm on it.

Denise, your nails are a dream away for me. Once I no longer work as a mechanic/welder I'm so looking forward to beautiful long nails like you're posting.

I had a comp room at Ocean club Thursday night into Friday

Now I know why a girl pack so much I'm starting to act like one it felt good to be a girl for 2 days it just felt rightno more feeling nervous about going out as a female because I feel I am one. I'm not nervous about going into the Ladies room anywhere and I get no strange looks at all that's a good feeling

That's good.

Me, I'm very nervous about that.  (NC- home of the infamous Bathroom Bill). In fact, I haven't been able to make myself do it, even though I present as female really all the time.  But, going into a public mens room is terrifying.  I inevitably look for a work around - or just hold it.

Recently I was at a campground with family members.  The place was packed, and of course the facilities were not private.  My daughter suggested the ladies side.  She thought I would pass okay since I had "developed" lately.  But all I could think about was someone calling the rangers about a "man" stalking the girls.

I ended up using a jar I keep for emergencies.  I'm such a coward.

@Denise  I swear in that top photo you look like a lady I used to work with, she would eat men alive on work nights out!

Enjoy being you!

@Jandi That's terrible. I understand the nervousness, especially with that disgusting and stupid bill, but I would be genuinely more afraid of walking into a mens room dressed as DeeDee.

It is prudence not cowardice!

If your daughter thinks you belong in the ladies trust her though! maybe even take her with you the first couple of times! I did with my sister. In the UK we do not have that kind of legislation, but we also have disabled loos that have special radar keys in most places, my children have sensory issues so I have one, and that would be my emergency last resort.

Sally, a moderator can edit the post adding "Post 3" if you would like. Let me know and I'll be glad to take care of it. That way your numbering system is in tact.   Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

I thought Hey, I can't be experiencing Gender destroyer because it doesn't fit the narrative, but Hey I can. I am experiencing mild discomfort in relation to my gender. Because and that can be a form of mild form of it this forum because their elements of my gender that are out of alignment with my sign gender at birth. There are elements of my gender I have been holding back on some I did not even know for fear it did not fit was told was not very manly or in some other way not correct for someone who is an amab. I tried embracing and expressing some of these parts of me even for just a little bit every once in a while and it feels like a relief to me like a weight has been lifted.

Welcome to Transgender Pulse Forums @violet r   I think we all were scared with our first post here on TPF. I hope you come to find this site as welcoming as an old friend. Not knowing the type of retail you're in, it is hard to know how they will react to your coming out. I would hope that if it's part of a larger corporation they may have corporate policies supporting/protecting you once you decide to come out publicly. No one here will rush you, or try to slow you down, once you've decided to come out. Some of us are secret sisters, and others of us are as flamboyant as they come. The cool this is you get to choose. You be you.   Best wishes, stay positive, and motivated,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Welcome aboard, Violet. What a pretty name!   You are among friends here. We are all on a journey, with things in common despite our individual uniqueness. I hope that makes sense!

Welcome Violet.  It's been awhile since i found this space with so many who understand the struggle to simply be ourselves in a society that often disapproves,  It isn't an easy path but being together we can share all the bumps and the joys. You are not alone.   Hugs,   Charlize

I'm sorry it didn't work out for the new job. Nothing to keep you from being on the search. I had a coworker who used to walk out of the locker room saying; "I was looking for a job with I found this one and I'll keep searching for the next one. Never let them think you're comfortable and settled."   The coffee has just finished brewing, and we have a HVAC technician coming in about 30 minutes to do an annual system check.   It's time to get out of my Pj's.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

@Sally Stone, I have enjoyed reading this thread immensely. There certainly are some things in it that I can relate to, particularly when you wrote that "I wasn’t a man trapped in a woman’s body." This simple statement confirmed two things for me; I am not an imposter here, and I could end up much further along the path than what I imagine now.   I very much look forward to your future posts here.   I hope that by posing this question I'm not committing you to spoil future posts, but can I ask, why you have settled on Bigender as a label? I keep changing my label and have no idea what it might be tomorrow or next week or next month!
