I have to wear sweaters every day now during the day. Believe it or not, I can get away with the heater being on and wearing no shirt while I sleep, and I much prefer to go topless when I sleep. It's not even cold with a blanket. I live in the South.

Between the weight loss and the HRT I start bundling up in the mid-70s. Today's outfit is my scrubs over a flannel shirt over a t-shirt. It should keep me warm enough to deal with my client's house. Her thermostat is set at 73.

Hugs!

2 positive things about being fat.

1. Your butt is big enough to hold your leggings/ pants up.

2. Your face doesn't show wrinkles. lol

Thanks ladies.  They are my favorite from a style perspective.  They are actually quite comfortable given the height of the heel, but after a day of shopping it was nice to get out of them.

I'm just chilling in the music room wondering who is going to knock on that door.

I hope they don't ask me to pick up an instrument today.

I'm not all that good anymore and have limited standing time.

Anyway I'm doing well and enjoying all the lovely pictures and fashion's here.

I hope to get out soon and post a picture worth posting, until then, same old basement pictures, sigh...

Love, LM❤️

I've probably posted this outfit before, but this is just everyday stuff for me.

Had to draw up some water, hence the well pix.

As food for thought I wanted to explain one of the aspects of my outfit.

The oversized hoodie. Although it doesn't really go with rest of it, it gives the illusion that I'm not as tall (5'9") as i really am. It also helps cover my shoulders and minimal waistline. On the other side of things, I feel it helps with passing by giving  an impression that I may be involved with some really tall guy named Brandon that works at Jimmy Johns. It's also pretty warm for what it is.

I love your psychology...it's so interesting figuring out what helps us pass.  It's not always what I thought.  I pass more with a pony tail, than I do with my long hair out.  I also like small guitars, but I don't play them on stage because they make my hands look big.

Not often do I rock the center part, but I'm kinda feeling it today??‍♀️. Also, just super minimal makeup. Eyeliner and mascara. I'm ok with it.

So I am new here and have been exploring the site and posts.  Just wanted to say you look beautiful with minimal makeup.  For me I have a long way to go before I could get away with it ..of course even with makeup I don’t look great cause it’s a skill I’m just learning !

Today I'm back as myself.

I'm a little stiff as you might tell by the pix.

Welcome!  Yes it's a skill but less is more FYI.  If you have a Sephora nearby, they will teach you. Transfriendly biz. There's a couple makeup threads on here that might be helpful.

Liz, that looks great.  And I see your wife hasn't venture to far away from you pallette ;)

There is a Sephora inside a JC Penney close by…just go in and ask for help?

You might have to check the app and look for classes. A lot of their stuff is remote right now (at least where I'm at).

Hugs!

At the very least, they can help you find the colors that work for you. That's half the battle.  They're expensive though. Start with a powder foundation, maybe a "finish kit" to apply over that and eyebrow pencil if you need to darken them. Oh, color corrector if you have any beard shadow.  Either that or find a mary kay person who's trans friendly. I might do a quick video on how I do my minimalist  "natural look" makeup.  I spent about $300 at sephora almost a year ago. I only put makeup on a couple times a week at most. Most of those times it's just foundation, eye shadow and mascara. If I'm going out and want a more glam look I will add the brows, some bronzer/finishing powders and lipstick. Since I wear a mask everywhere nowadays, lipstick and contouring kinda stuff is wasted.  The only thing I've needed to replace is my brow pencil because my hair is so light you can't really make them out without it.

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).

Good morning everyone,   It’s Thursday well as least I took my Thursday Medications as sorted out in my weekly dispensary caddy. Today’s coffee is Folgers Breakfast Blend served HOT, black and strong. My wife and I are going to explore the Western and Southern coasts of Saginaw Bay and hang out in Bay City, MI. today.    @Willowonce @Abigail Genevievepointed out the word usage in your post. I read it and laughed, enjoying the snarky tone of the comment. Since it was spelled correctly I thought maybe you meant for it to read just as you typed it. Then the kinder gentler me thought it would be better if I changed it. I’m not saying I corrected it, I just changed the severity of the sentence.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Things are moving quickly now that I have my drivers license and social security card in my new name. It was really affirming when I got my first paycheck in my new name.

Amazingly I have found many cis women are absolutely wrong in their assumptions about bra fittings. I knew an elderly lady that said, "I have been a C cup since school, I just buy a bigger band size as my breasts grow." This is completely WRONG as the band should always fit snug with they gore firmly against the chest.    One of CNA's came into Torrid and I helped her pick out a new bra. She didn't even understand band size was inches and cups/band combo were based off Victorian shirt sizes.  She said, "how do you know so much?"   We found her proper fitting band size, then found a cup she fit.    How can people that take the vast majority of bra users know so little about them? Seems most cis women just use "try it on" only.

As has been said many times, this is not a black and white issue. Sure.  I get it that a MtF person that has gone through full male puberty and "transitioned" 6 months ago probably has an advantage in some sports.  But these bans affect elementary school kids too. I mean, banning trans women from Darts?  Chess?
