I found my xmas party dress at the consignment store yesterday! Now I just need an actual party invite. lol. The question is do I wear it with the cleavage knot and showing some belly or the more full coverage conservative option?  Crushed velvet material.  I need to find a white fur shawl or cover still.  And of course, gotta wear heels in this so will be looking for something I could wear with this and my NYE outfit.

I like it with the cleavage knot. The neckline is begging for a necklace.

Yeah, point. You paid a lot to have cleavage, you ought to show it off.

My Christmas party this year is going to be with a gaggle of lesbian friends so I'm wearing my cis-mas shirt and flannel.

Hugs!

I vote for the cleavage knot.

Today I wore this for a special meeting.

The meeting was at my house.

It went well. Another victory for me and the LGBT.

My next step is......is coming....when ever it gets here.

LM❤️

Today I'm going office professional (except my shoes since my toes aren't healed up yet). A cute semi-sheer blouse (black bra for a riské look. ) I really like the cloth buttons even though they are hard to get the elastics around them. The pants are Ann Taylor slacks that have a bit of tweed like texture that doesn't show in the pic.  The ex loaned my her tortoise shell (fake) pendant necklace to complete the look. Most of my jewelry/clothes are packed already)

Nice! I'm between clients right now so flannel, jeans and a t-shirt for me.

Of course this is more-or-less my work uniform too. Only real difference is that my t-shirt has words on it and I'm wearing my fox necklace instead of my mirrored silver chain (good against vampires AND werewolves!).

Hugs!

My new boots finally came in. The heels are only 3/4in wide. Stiletto wedges? Today I’m learning new walking skills.

My new boots

So cool, and they look fantastic. Are they production floor approved? I'm sure once you put a mile long walk in them you'll have them mastered.

Can I ask where you found them? Might see if they have some that will work for me! Lol

Also I ran into a lady at work that could have nearly been your twin.

I found them on Amazon. just took forever to get them delivered.

A twin? How cool is that? I think Jackie said she also knows someone that looks likes me. I’m slowly but surly blending into the crowd.

Yup, you're basically a thinner version of my sister-in-law.

Also, like the boots but I'm not sure about the color. I've got a pair coming in from Amazon too, but they won't be here for a bit yet. I was just excited that they came in my size.

I wear flannel to work CONSTANTLY. I didn't realize it needed a special day. ?

Hugs!

I’m feeling cute and powerful today.
I had to stop and think about this. In the past I would wear a leather jacket covered in chainmail, heavy jeans and biker boots to feel this way. I was literally armored-up and yet I was just hiding from world.

Now I wear substantially less, I’m out and about, no longer hiding, and feel like I could conquer the world.

Good morning Rowan,

My Biker Leathers are just that Armor. I'm loving the lighter fair leathers from the ladies selection now.

My AVI is a woman's leather coat.

Here’s my unfortunately less than feminine attire for the day. As a side note body armor over sensitive growing breast tissue is…….. uncomfortable ?.

@JustineMI have that exact headband in my rotation of headbands.

Thanks for being there, and I'm proud that you're wearing your Body-armor.

Do they make it in a feminine version with pleated areas for the growing breasts?

Best wishes, and stay safe,

The body armor has to be aggravating  during breast growth.

I never really thought about it for someone doing what you do.

I back the blue btw.

Justine I love that pic. Make it a profile pic!
Liz those boots rock!

working the consignment shop today so once again channeled Liz with the all black look and realized I needed some contrast so the faux leather snakeskin pattern blazer to complete the look

Congratulations and Happy Anniversary!!!! A beautiful milestone.    I hope to see you tonight...I just have to stay awake long enough!!

It's funny with photos isn't it, how we think we look in them vs. how we actually do look in them! I'm hopeless at smiling and I have to try really hard not to frown or look like a zombie. I'm never sure how I come across to others.   I had a moment late last night when my eldest daughter facetimed my wife for some now forgotten reason, and when I was handed the tablet and talking to her, I was fixated on my image in the corner. My hair was wild at the time, I was a bit tipsy and all I saw was a woman! I have no idea what she saw in that context. I'll probably never know.

I hope to see you on the Zoom meeting tonight, April.  I might be late, since I am doing lights and sound for a play that opened last night.  I was home before ten last night, so I think I'll be able to make it.   Today is an anniversary for me.  Seven years ago today, I stood up at the weekly community kaffeeklatsch as <deadname> and announced that henceforth I would be Kathy.  It went as well as I could have imagined: there were some surprised looks, but no hostility and lots of support.  A whole layer of stress disappeared that day and has never come back.  (There have been other stresses, but that one is gone.)  I have been me full-time ever since that moment.

This is a scarily accurate description of what I feel!   I hope I don't sound too schmaltzy by saying this, but I remember when I signed up to this forum last year, during the sign-up process the question is asked, "Why do you want to join TransPulse?" to which I wrote, "Looking for a home where I can freely write about my issues and interact with similar people."    I think I just found one. ❤️

Good morning, everyone!! I was up early again - already on my third cup of coffee having walked/fed the dog and read the local paper.   We have a birthday party for a friend to go to this afternoon but no real plans otherwise.   I hope to be able to attend tonight's TGP Zoom session. It's been weeks since I've been able to participate with the illness/loss of our dog, two horrible colds in succession and our trip to chase the solar eclipse.   Have a wonderful day and look for the goodness in it.

I think we tend to be overly critical of our looks, whether we're trying to express ourselves as masculine, feminine or anywhere along the gender spectrum. For me, I use photos as a way to track my progress, to help me find my style and look and to help me find ways to improve myself in posture, looks, make-up, style......   I didn't really think about our FB avatar being public but then realized that when people search they do see it.   Since I'm not out to anyone but my wife, therapist, priest and people here, my FB page remains "that guy." I have created a Bitmoji that is relatively androgynous moving slowly towards the feminine. Long gray hair, earrings, softer features...I'm transitioning it along with myself. :-)
