It sucks big time!  My clothing expenditures in 2020 were miniscule, and not by choice!  Whenever it's safe to use fitting rooms again, I will be ready!

I’m with you on this @Astrid. I used to frequent thrift stores weekly and would get some great deals. The only thing I can try on are shoes. The dressing rooms are closed and the return policies are a joke.

I spent more than my usual on clothes in the last month, but I needed a new winter coat and I replaced all my underwear and socks. (Still men's underwear, but more fashionable than I've worn in the past.)

I have found if the clothes come from Asia the sizes run a few sizes smaller than US or EU sizes.

Sizes vary by manufacturers too so buying online is always sketchy.

My shopping thru 2020 was very minimal due to no dressing rooms and I bought online from Zulilly, Torrid and a few plus size retailers with decent results so it wasn't all bad.

One of my biggest annoyances with Amazon these days - with products across the board, not just clothes - is that it's become a flea market for imported junk and returns of genuine products (or counterfeits) sold as new. About the only thing positive about the experience is Amazon's return policy.

I think you will find that with a little shapewear you won't need larger breast forms. (those look great)  When I wear some tummy control or some hip/butt pads it makes my breasts stand out more.   High waist jeans/pants will work the same way for you.

I've got those! Some of my shapewear has built-in pads to make your backside and hips look bigger. They're hot though. It doesn't matter right NOW, but in the summer they can be beastly to wear.

On breast forms... I had to give away my biggest pair. They hurt my actual breasts too much to wear, sadly. Remember that if you start HRT, you probably won't need breast forms forever so don't go overboard.

Hugs!

Yes! Definitely the case especially if, like Jackie C, buying shape-ware which tends to run very snug with limited to no stretch! Never buy Amazon, Bezos is rich enough, but have ordered ebay just to 'ave Amazon deliver it (shared seller?)

I like Venus on-line, with many sales and

a pre-printed/paid return label with every purchase.

I really do like wearing black but it can be so hard to take good pictures. Thankfully my employer is supportive and I can, for the most part, dress however I like.

I think stylistically we're a bit different Liz lol.  I think I only own 1 black top.  I did pick up some pleather black pants though.

Today no one had appointments at the clinic so I just came to work after my workout without changing.  Kinda nice to work supper comfortable.  This is the Au' Natural look for me having not done my hair/makeup or any shape wear/padding. Can't wait to grow more in some area hahaha. I know it's early but I think I'm on the BA pathway.  Supposedly most breast growth occurs between 3-6 months of HRT. I celebrated 5 months yesterday and don't "fill" an a cup.

I own just SO many black t-shirts. A friend of mine said though: Dark top, light bottom. It helps make your hips look bigger and your shoulders look smaller.

I like those leggings. I've been looking for a set that has a pattern that's me. I haven't found it yet.

The shoes are fun too! I was talking to my gym partner today about coloration in the gym. I get so used to seeing blacks, grays and browns and I'm colored like a poisonous frog (today was turquoise tomorrow is pink and crimson. Yes I pick out my outfits the day before). She didn't believe me at first but all of the men and most of the women at my gym wear subdued colors. Weird.

Today I'm wearing jeans and the only hoodie I own.

Hugs!

I would give the girls more time, they may surprise you. Mine didn’t look like much after 5 months. Now at 14 months they’re still too small to defend themselves but enough to be  plausibly passing.

I'm wearing a fleece vest (is that the correct word?). Each day. Because well, working from home, not many people to see and winter...

Underneath the vest I've got a really nice oversized jacket. And skinny jeans, always skinny jeans.

Ah yes. Someone else who loves the skinny jeans! This is the way.

Well, sometimes skirts or leggings, but usually the skinny jeans. My legs are like my second best feature. I have to show them off.

Haha yes! At first I hated them but then I got shoes that went along well with skinny jeans and I found out that I actually like them. Never skirts and leggings for me, too feminine. I'd like to try other kind of jeans but in my experience they are whether not really professional to wear or too professional to wear. I could try the latter but then I really also should have other shoes. I need another garderobe haha, but that will go slowly and after the lockdown. I don't like shopping online.

I love skinny jeans because my shoe options are varied: sketchers, sandals, sneakers, ankle boots or knee highs all look great.  Plus, I admit I like the way I look in them. I have the height to no butt ratio that works. At least that's what a girl friend told me. lol

Heh. The last time I saw my dad, he turned around and I realized I get my lack of backside from him.

He almost didn't get his Christmas cookies.

I can attest though that with lots of hard work and oh, so many squats, lunges, dead-lifts, leg curls and leg presses, I now fill out the back of a pair of skinny jeans. It's still not huge, but it's firm and round. I'll take it.

Yea, not going to make any decision on those until I hit a year but they are going to have to really kick into overdrive if I'm to get anywhere near what I ultimately want.  I just want a solid B+ cup.  Given my overall shoulder width anything less isn't really noticeable unless I'm wearing a lighter top. I've noticed when I stuff a bra to about B size I get "ma'am-ed " even with a moderate jacket on, if I don't I get Sir-ed most of the time.

Most of the good butt building exercises are off limits for me with spinal root stenosis and pretty fragile meniscuses.  I can't get close to 90 deg squats without setting both off. Deadlifts absolutely off limits. Curls I can do, presses not really.  I'm not destined for a big ass. lol.

I don't know, my As look pretty good in the right bra. They're still sore and sensitive so I'm hoping for a larger A or a small B. Pretty content with what's going on right now though. They're not perfect, but they're mine and that's what's important.

Besides, I'm terrified that there would be a problem with the augmentation process. Which is weird. I was perfectly OK with all the risks of vaginoplasty but if you touch my boobs, they won't be able to identify your body from the shoe-sized stain that will be your remains.

I am apparently an irrational creature.

Ah, I see you were taught by a man. ?

We don't go that deep. Especially with a heavy weight. Just low enough to get the gluteal muscles engaged, then hold. You build strength and endurance. I can bend almost in half now, but that's for stretching, not exercising. We do not stress our joints while working out.

Curls would do it though, I worked the heck out of my backside today at just 160 lbs (I usually go higher, but I'd just squatted 270 and was freaking tired) for the seated leg curls. I can still feel it.

Not always true, though.  I'll have completed 14 months in two days, and right now the girls are definitely in a growth stage the past six weeks or so.  YGSMV (Your Growth Stages May Vary) ?

Just had an odd, yet good conversation with my manager. Somehow we got the topic of if it would be OK for me to start wearing dresses and skirts to work. He said that he would fully support me to wear whatever I wanted. Another manager overheard and said she would support me as well. So tomorrow, assuming it’s not ridiculously cold, will be my first day at work in a skirt.

this is a picture from a few days, maybe weeks ago! i really liked this one, so i took a few sets and showed them to my boyfriend, he seemed to like them as well. :D i'm really proud of this specific one though.

**WHOOPS** Just sunk in that you're a minor. Sorry sweetie. Rule #19. To be fair, you don't look 16 and it sailed RIGHT over my pretty little head. -- Jackie C. ?

That's not true at ALL for us younger girls. We can keep going for 5-10 years. I'm at 2 and a half years and I'm still growing at a slow, steady rate. Generally surgeons won't touch you until at least 2 years just in case you get a spurt and they have to remove the implants and for girls in our age bracket, you should really wait 5.

Also, looking good @nympheanelumbo! I hope your boyfriend appreciates what he's got!

This is exciting news! Glad that you have such a supportive management team at your workplace. I'm hopeful your wife will be as well, I know she has shared strong feelings about the idea of you wearing skirts or dresses. I suggest wearing leggings underneath in cold weather. p.s. Black is the official wardrobe color for New York City.

Since we're on the topic of breast growth, I feel like I'm experiencing modest changes at the four month mark. My doctor emphasized that everyone's bodies will react differently to HRT, and it can take years for full effects to be realized. While I would love for it to be faster, it's wonderful to see them slowly awaken from a lifetime slumber thanks to the estrogen goddess.

Also - nice to meet you @nympheanelumbo, hello from your neighbor in NYC!

Love,

~Audrey.

aaaaa!! this made me really happy, thank you! it's a nice change of pace from a  conversation I had with my school counselor. Did you know that parents needed to be notified before changing deadnames off of school websites? It's gonna be rough talk with my mom, but I'll figure something out. Reason why I'm here, actually! ^^ There's a lot of talk about needing a support system, so I joined!

The counseling session was heated, if you could call it a counseling session.  Sometimes Lois felt he was on Odie's side, and sometimes on hers.  When he was on her side, Odie got defensive. She found herself being defensive when it seemed they were ganging up on each other.   "This is not working," Lois said angrily, and walked out.  "Never again. I want my husband back. Dr. Smith you are complicit in this."   "What?" said Odie.   The counselor looked at him.  "You will have to learn some listening skills."   "That is it? Listening skills?  You just destroyed my marriage, and you told me I need to learn listening skills?"   Dr. Smith said calmly,"I think you both need to cool off."   Odie looked at him and walked out, saying "And you call yourself a counselor."   "Wait a minute."   "No."

I have read some of it, mostly in areas specifically targeted at the LGBTQ+ peoples.   You also have to take into account what and who is behind the words, not just the words themselves. Together that creates context, right? Let's take some examples, under the Department of Health & Human Services section:   "Radical actors inside and outside government are promoting harmful identity politics that replaces biological sex with subjective notions of “gender identity” and bases a person’s worth on his or her race, sex, or other identities. This destructive dogma, under the guise of “equity,” threatens American’s fundamental liberties as well as the health and well-being of children and adults alike."   or   "Families comprised of a married mother, father, and their children are the foundation of a well-ordered nation and healthy society. Unfortunately, family policies and programs under President Biden’s HHS are fraught with agenda items focusing on “LGBTQ+ equity,” subsidizing single-motherhood, disincentivizing work, and penalizing marriage. These policies should be repealed and replaced by policies that support the formation of stable, married, nuclear families."   From a wording perspective, who doesn't want to protect the health and well-being of Americans or think that families aren't good for America? But let's take a look at the author, Roger Severino. He's well-quoted to be against LGBTQ+ anything, has standard christian nationalist views, supports conversion therapy, etc.   So when he uses words like "threatens the health and well-being of children and adults alike" it's not about actual health, it's about enforcing cis-gendered ideology because he (and the rest of the Heritage Foundation) believe LGBTQ+ people and communities are harmful. Or when he invokes the family through the lens of, let's just say dog whistles including the "penalization of marriage" (how and where?!), he idealizes families involving marriage of a "biological male to a biological female" and associates LGBTQ+ family equity as something unhealthy.   Who are the radical actors? Who is telling people to be trans, gay, or queer in general? No one. The idea that there can be any sort of equity between LGBTQ+ people and "normal" cis people is abhorrent to the author, so the loaded language of radical/destructive/guise/threaten are used. Families that he believes are "good" are stable/well-ordered/healthy, specifically married/nuclear ones.   Start looking into intersectionality of oppression of non-privileged groups and how that affects the concept of the family and you will understand that these platitudes are thinly veiled wrappers for christian nationalist ideology.   What's wrong with equity for queer families, to allow them full rights as parents, who are bringing up smart and able children? Or single mothers who are working three jobs to get food on plates?

Well yesterday didn't work like I wanted to. I met a guy and started talking and he was wanting to be in a relationship. I asked my kids on how they thought of me dating a man and they said gross and said no. I guess it's time to look for women. I think that is going to be harder. Oh well I guess.

I am reading the Project 2025 document https://www.project2025.org/policy/   This will take some time.  I read the forward and I want to read it again later.   I read some criticism of it outside here and I will be looking for it in the light of what has been posted here and there.  Some of the criticism is bosh.   @MaeBe have you read the actual document?
