I worked out in a pink skirt with a tie dye shirt. I'm now wearing a different tie dye shirt and capris. I did get a shirt in from Shein and found out it's lower in the front than I thought. Oh well I guess I'll get a spaghetti strap top to wear underneath it.

Davie good for you dear. :)

I ended up in high waisted button up jeans, heels n a green short sleeve bodysuit since it was cold here.

My abilities in clothing assemblage and selection are way below the pre-school level. I have no idea, no clue, what to do. The wig selection was a lucky and random choice--otherwise, duh. Henceforth, I'll try to pay attention.

Oh, do I know what you mean. I'm working hard - with my wife's help - to gain a sense of style and eye for pairing clothing pieces, shoes, jewelry, etc that I never really needed for 67+ years dressing as a male. I find items of clothing that I like, and then am not sure how to pair them. But, practice does make perfect and I am getting much better. I have found that I absolutely love clothes with bright colors, flowers, and butterflies, etc.

My first wig was not as successful as yours. I opted for a medium length strawberry blond version - wore it once and realized it looked far better in my mind than on me. A $250 ooops that I'll donate when I find a local TG support group. My natural hair is almost completely gray and I needed to embrace it. I found a second wig, slightly different style but still medium length and gray...the one in my avatar picture...and love it. I'm growing out my hair and am at the point where I could actually go without a wig - I've been testing the waters a bit but not wearing the wig sometimes. Still, I love the feel and look of shoulder length hair.

Do you remember Garanimals for kids? The clothing line that had tags on them with different animals that kids could use to select their clothes and ensure they matched.  We need that for us to help us learn the art of style. Actually, my wife and I used to shop for clothes for my mother and always said that Alfred Dunner was the Garanimals for Adults. 🤣

To get back on track, at this early part of the morning, I'm wearing a blue sleep dress with planets and stars on it. I'll update later.

It's early and I'm still deciding, but shorts will definitely be on the list today. As warm and humid as it has been I might wear one of my white tanks and a white bra under it. 🤔

I'll put a blouse over it for the morning chill. But something I can take off later.

My new shoes came in from Torrid and I should wear them as well. 💖

Nice wigs are expensive.  Mine are not natural hair, but are close to my natural color, grey.  I assume they are clocked as wigs.  In cold weather, I tie a scarf over them babushka style.  Such is my life.

Today as most days, I'm just wearing a below the knee, sleeveless dress.  I have several of these and it's kind of my everyday wardrobe if I'm just hanging at the house.  If it's cool, I add a sweater, or throw a shawl over my shoulders.

I don't go out much - there's not a lot going on around here anyway.  If I do, it's usually to the store for something.

Thanks so much @AprilThis feels like a show-opening moment for me—at 75 years old. And I now realize that if I want to truly understand my feminine side, I can't just dream about it—I must act it out. Walk a mile in sequined shoes, perhaps. Scary can also be equal to the word Thrilling. Look great for yourself today.  — Davie

Hair just doesn't grow fast enough. My back has just barely hit shoulder length, and the sides are about 1" over my ears.

I just wish it would grow out overnight. 🙄

Oh, yes. Over the years, I've photographed myself in various outfits to be able to get a better idea of exactly how I look in various pieces. I would say that scary is the perfect word for much of those early times when I focused on things like stockings and heels. Now that I've come out to my wife and begun to build a wardrobe of "normal" clothes, maybe I'm not so scary for an older woman. 🤣

Today, I am going to begin selling some of my early pairs of shoes - mostly platform heels that were easy to find in my size but aren't really appropriate for me now (although I am NOT giving up those leopard skin 6" platforms!!). If I cull the heard, I can make room for some other heels and styles. 😊😉

So, I'm starting the day in a flowered skort and a light blue t-shirt and pink flip flops but I'm in the mood to put on a skirt and blouse so I may do that this evening and enjoy a cocktail at our bar.

I wore a royal blue t-shirt, bright yellow shorts (that were probably too short for my age but, hye, I love them anyways) and white ruffle socks (with a daisy embroidered on each them) to and from my medical appointment this morning... why do i love to wear women's clothes so much?? even at the risk of the stares and comments I may receive?

Forgive me, but I absolutely love the feel of dangling earrings swaying when I move my head. I'm wearing 2" silver hoops today. How did I live almost 7 decades without having my ears pierced????

I have bought myself a beautiful skirt today and it arrives tomorrow, so excited to finally try it on.

How exciting!!!! There's nothing like a skirt to make you feel feminine and pretty.

Pink has always been a favorite color of mine. I was just to embarrassed to admit it when I was little. I definitely would've been treated differently.

Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).

Good morning everyone,   It’s Thursday well as least I took my Thursday Medications as sorted out in my weekly dispensary caddy. Today’s coffee is Folgers Breakfast Blend served HOT, black and strong. My wife and I are going to explore the Western and Southern coasts of Saginaw Bay and hang out in Bay City, MI. today.    @Willowonce @Abigail Genevievepointed out the word usage in your post. I read it and laughed, enjoying the snarky tone of the comment. Since it was spelled correctly I thought maybe you meant for it to read just as you typed it. Then the kinder gentler me thought it would be better if I changed it. I’m not saying I corrected it, I just changed the severity of the sentence.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
