You look wonderful, Timi!!! And you witnessed history.

Thank you, April. That was actually kind of a big step for me, going out alone dressed like that. I’m processing my feelings, but I just felt more “right” than usual.

Wearing my plain Jane grey kilt.

Cute fit! I just got a new MN Aurora hoodie, they’re not NWSL yet but have to support the ladies.

Tee and shorts today, of course with stockings as well.

Nothing too fancy, but noticeable. 😘

I absolutely love how you assert yourself. You rock!!

A white 3/4 sleeve cotton sweater with blue stripes and embroidered peacock feathers, white crop pants and blue/white slip-on sneakers. I'm also wearing my flame colored brass feather earrings. Full picture is in my gallery.

I've been looking for a coat, especially for the conference I'm going to in March when the weather can be cool and rainy. I ordered this one from Woman Within that has a removable hood. It arrived today and fits perfectly. I love it!

I've been taking every opportunity to explore my gender expression since coming out to my wife last week. All the clothes I have tried so far make me feel so good and feel so right.

My wife surprised me yesterday by saying there was a dress I could try that no longer fit her. I've always wanted to try a dress and what great experience. Put it on with a cardigan since it was chilly here this morning and did some tidying in the kitchen.

I had to run some errands and wasn't feeling bold enough to go out in a dress. I picked a women's long sleeve T-shirt instead. It's not anything super feminine looking, but I don't think anyone gave me a second look.

I know every day won't feel this good on this journey, but I'll take a win today.

Keep on being your wonderful and beautiful selves.

It's so amazing when we have spouses that support us, isn't it?

And, I agree. There is just something about a dress or a skirt/skort that makes me feel pretty.

Enjoy!!

Found a very cute black pleated mini skirt yesterday while shopping. It had been placed on a different rack and I never found the "home base". But it happened to be my size and a great price and was right there, so I bought and have been happily wearing it most of today with a soft yellow T-shirt... maybe a bit short for my age but incredibly comfortable...

Just one of my old around-the-house dresses.

TBH, probably needs to go in the laundry.

But it's comfy, and I'm not going anywhere today.

Went to Michael’s and saw these charms and my son made them into earrings for me!

They are pretty heavy compared to my usual studs, but gnomies!!!

I was looking through my closet tonight, planning outfits for the 5 day conference I'm going to in March. Yes, I am so excited I'm already planning my wardrobe!!

This dress is the first one I bought for myself after my egg cracked....and I've never worn it until tonight. I tried it on when it first arrived and thought that my body wasn't shapely enough to wear it and put the dress to the back of my closet. Since then, I've come to accept my looks, now at almost 70, and love who I am. I looked at the dress and said to myself "I'm going to give this dress another chance.

Is it a keeper for the conference to wear out one evening? Full picture is in my gallery.

Tomorrow is "cowboy/girl" day at the day-centre. I have laid out my outfit for tomorrow being a pink and white plaid blouse, denim vest, blue jeans, bandana, white cowgirl hat, and cowgirl boots. All fairly androgynous, but off the women's rack. 😘

For some of us, life begins at almost 70. And, ladies, we can still enjoy an evening out. Maybe even turn a head or two? Sometimes, we just want to see if we can pull off a little sexy look. Probably not, but I felt amazing in this jumpsuit.

Full pictures in my gallery.

I love that picture!! I'll take a McFishwich with an order of McFriskies.  lol   Good morning, everyone! Another cold northeast US day. Now that the holidays are over it's into the waiting for Spring to appear. Why does time just seem to crawl by at this time of the year?   My wife and I are taking a trip to Las Vegas to see The Eagles in concert at The Sphere. Our gambling is limited to $20 each for the trip....we're donors not winners. We're also going to take a trip to see the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. We've flown over them many times over the years but never seen them in person.   Be safe and look for the goodness in this wonderful day we've been given.

I do agree with this statement. To me, happiness is not a fixed thing but, rather, a process. It is something that we have to work on continuously. Something that we can control but don't own.

I have traveled a similar path of self-doubt, guilt, self-forgiveness and acceptance in my journey. And, if it helps, I would bet that most of us have had a similar experience. And, I wish I could say that one day, it all just disappears. At least for me, that hasn't been the case.   It seemed as if the acceptance came relatively quickly when I began working with my therapist. The others less quickly and, perhaps, that's because it took me almost 68 years to finally accept my truth.   In my mind, you are on the right trajectory. Exploring, discussing, opening up and looking into the nooks and crannies. It's not always an easy process but I'm confident you'll find your way. I know I have, despite the doubts and guilt.   Stay with the process and know we are here if you need us.

It soundsd like your girlfriend is acquainted with and accepts the LGBTQ+ community. So that's a plus. I wonder if you've discussed this with your therapist. In not, it would be a good idea. I know, in my case, my firsr time I came out, it was to a friend who lived a distance away and not part of my local friends/family. If rejected, it wouldn't hurt as much to lose that persom. I then worked my way in in order to gain confidence. However, if the relationship is important, I think sooner than later to telling her. Being she hasn't lived with being LGBTQ, you are much longer along your journey and so it may come as a shock - and she may have to go through steps a greiving, be compassion and give her room. If she rejects you then it is also better to know sooner than later. Even if she first rejects, that may be a reaction to the news but give it time to settle in. That's my opinion, but you know her so let your inner being guide you.
