I found these earrings on Amazon and ordered a pair. At $30, they're not exactly inexpensive but I thought I'd take a chance sine they are handmade. After receiving them and wearing them yesterday, I'm thrilled. They are well made and hang beautifully.

Enjoying my new place.  The acoustics are great in here and I have all the cooking and music gear I need to be happy.  Enough money in the bank to do nothing for a whole year.  Just add groceries.  Been up all morning playing bass, drinking coffee and writing VBA Macros to parse my bank's transaction data.  All my purchases came to just over $5,000 but there is some reconciling error because of that odd way Amazon splits up the purchases into sub-purchases.  Something is off by several hundred dollars in the reconciling.  I enjoy writing code like this much more than coding professionally, especially when they are 8 to 5 jobs.  Coding professionally is a lot of fun too though.  Being exposed to all those industries and their design patterns.

All my stuff is pretty minimal.  I have three above the knee dresses and two of them are grey.  4 pair of leggings/yoga pants.  7 swoop neck t-shirts.  One pair of heel sandals and one pair of TEVAs.  A large pile of large wool socks.  I'm trying to keep my bare feet off the floor.

It sounds like you've got a great start on the new place - everything you need to be comfortable and no big financial pressures for now. At this point, you can begin to fill out the wardrobe. :D

Have you checked out 32 Degrees? They have some cute and really inexpensive travel pants that are wonderful for everyday wear and look wonderful even after a day of travel.

SHEIN, TEMU and local thrift stores are my favorite. Mostly my clothes are from Shein and if you want to you can apply to get now pay later with Afterpay. They divide your total to four payments and no interest. The first payment is due when buying the stuff. They even give coupons to their already cheap but good quality clothes. It does come from China so it will take some time to get to you.

Went over to the coffeeshop this morning.  And then got some gas.  The grocery store was pretty picked over.

It is a bit cooler this morning, so I broke out a couple extra layers.

I tend to favor a kind of "traditional" wardrobe.

Full slip, light shortsleeved dress, jumper/pinafore, split apron, under a sweater.  Thigh-high cotton socks.

I like the split aprons.  There is a front and back part with separate ties - covers your clothes and adds another layer.
