Jandi its good to step outside your normal routine sometimes. Trying a wig might open up a whole new look for you to experiment with.

A nice wig doesn't cost a lot of money and you can go synthetic or human hair for roughly the same money these days.

Some wig shops offer 2 for 1 sales and that is a great time to try something new.

You are dressed WAY too classy for WalMart.

I'd be good though. I'm still in my pajamas.

Hugs!

My partner and I went shopping for new clothes yesterday!! I took the leap this weekend and came out to my family and it went AMAZING. To celebrate all the happiness we got me some new outfits. Today I am wearing white washed jeans, a dark blue short sleeve button up shirt, and my grey timberland boots (got these on sale a few years ago for only $70!!!). The outfit makes my body look very masculine, and gives me all the gender euphoria.

That's amazing @Myles97, so happy for you! Your family and partner sound amazing too.

Back to a basic look for me today. We’re short staffed and I may need to go out for some field work.

That sounds like a cool outfit Myles.  I must admit the last white jeans i had were bell bottoms which as they were almost my only pants during a period of living on the streets soon lost their sparkle.  I loved those pants and the beads around my neck.

Today I went with a pleated flowing flower print skirt and white top.

I will have to be careful while wearing this while outside...the wind!!!

@Linda MarieLooking classy as always!

@ElizabethStarLooking good! Agree you need to flash that smile of yours ;)

@Myles97Congrats on the coming out and new clothes! What a winning combo.

Not wearing much different today, I think you all have seen most of my wardrobe by now. Went casual top and black jeans. I got my 2nd vaccine today so in case I start feeling bad I wanted to be comfy.  I did pick up this pendent at Michaels Art store.  Liz I know you will like it ;). Michaels is a little gem of a place to put together a variety of necklace looks.  The sell all kinds of pendants/charms ect in their jewerly making department. Just but a few different chains and swap out the pendents.  Most are under $5.

I'm glad you're happy. Surprised there's no hoodie. I thought those were required by the FtM Authority. (Snark, obviously, wear what makes you happy. I'm glad you're happy.)

Sounds awesome Myles97  Post a pic if you want but if you choose not to thats OK too.

How the clothes make you feel is the important thing.

Went out yesterday looking for a few clothing items and didn't find anything I was looking for but it was nice getting out .

You have a lovely smile Elizabeth.

I recently discovered Michael's as a source for jewelry @Bri2020, I've made a pair of earrings and three pendants that I like better than anything I could find in shops.

Tonight...I'm ready for the roaring 20s!

It is feeling spring like today so broke out a dress, hair up and a light cardigan. Gold wedges, necklace/earrings to complete The dress I got of Poshmark, the cardigan is a Tory (given to me by a friend, I can't afford those. lol) and the necklace from a local designer consignment shop. Earrings-Target.

Thank you Bri.  No party...just playing around after group.  My Tuesday trans support group on Zoom is my one weekly event were I can dress up all I want without having to come out to my neighbors by walking to the car.  I always look forward to Tuesdays.

You sure put together some nice outfits Bri.  It's so encouraging to see you going off to work dressed the way you want.

I can feel the spring coming too.  This pandemic has been my cocoon...I will definitely emerge a transformed creature.

Just a note that Chadwick's catalog/website has tall sizes for those that need them.  I've bought several shirts and blazers that fit nice at reasonable prices.

I felt like getting dressed up, no place in mind to go, but just felt like dressing up.

I've probably modeled it here before, but....now.... I've different jewelry and hair style!!!

It's interesting to read this. Apart from the stuffed animals I have the only thing I can think of is my deliberate cultivation of a childlike attitude to learning such that I can learn and accept new ideas more readily; ie I try to avoid blinkered views and similar restrictions which often come with age. In that I have no age bias and fear of appearing childish (in the keeping up appearances sense).   Your last comments on baby talk do remind me of an advert for sweets / candy over here currently which has two policemen in a police car dubbed with childrens voices. People tend to love or hate it. I tend to mimic them and similar but more my sense of humour though.   Tracy

It's pretty clear that Republican state governments don't fear, or even take notice of, the Biden administration's policies. It looks like the Republican State governments feel they have to move quick while they still have a 6-3 scotus conservative majority until the Dems pack the courts (within the next year probably) to even things up a bit.

Totally relate. I was locked up in a psychoward ran by Mormons when I was 12-17 years old...sex was used as currency. ...Feel kinda lucky some days that I didn't really know I was being raped. ...Other days I just feel sick and wanna blow my brains out. ...Most days though, I just want....revenge. I guess I kinda had an epiphany one day: I'm not the one who deserves to die. ...Neither are you.  Hang in there. This too shall pass. *big hugz*

Kimber, I agree with Jackie, your parents were very accepting and supportive. Especially given that society was so different and so much less accepting back 25 years ago. Your parents loved the real YOU so much. It is a wonderful story.   Life would’ve been so much easier for many of us here if our parents could embrace our real identities. I am so glad yours embraced and accepted you so unconditionally. It sounds like an amazing experience.   I’m so sorry to hear that you had lost two siblings within a year back then. That must have been such a difficult period of your life. I can’t even imagine experiencing that kind of loss in such a short time period. We all have different crosses to bear. No journey through life is an easy one.   *Hugs* Susan R🌷

This is a one of your colors Linda Marie. Your dress really looks nice with the shoes too. Hard to match outfits that close without a large collection. You can NEVER have too many pairs.😉

I don’t wanna go back to a mental hospital. That place still terrifies me. Even more bad memories.

Mostly just the erotic variety that involved a boy being forcibly feminized then diapered and treated like a baby girl lmao. I'm a freak lol. =P

If you are having this bad a time, it may be necessary for you to go to a hospital or an urgent care provider and see if they can provide you with some medication to help your anxiety about the memories.  You may have to cut your vacation short to deal with this, or maybe it is the vacation environment triggering you.  Please go and get some professional help before you feel compelled to hurt yourself.

Looking lovely LM. Kaltia Bras are a constant problem with me too. Lacey bras are so pretty but the lace chaffs my skin. Sport bras I wear a lot just because the seem to hold everything in place just fine. My nice bras I save for special occasions.

I can’t stop remembering. I’m on vacation. I need to relax. I want it to stop. I can’t forget about what he did. I keep trying to make myself forget with things like overdosing, but it doesn’t work anymore. The memories are so loud. I don’t know how to stop this.
