Regrowth cycles for genital electrolysis

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know how long it takes for hair to regrow after genital electrolysis? Specifically, how long does it take around the base of the penis and the perineum? It's been a month and it hasn't grown back. My electrologist thought it would be three weeks. I'm probably not going to have vaginoplasty for 10 months but when the hair grows back slowly and would have to have electrolysis infrequently I worry that it could take too long to complete.

I'm told you should have work done on the area for a year prior to surgery. I imagine it varies a lot from person to person though based on age, hair growth rates, hair thickness, etc... Too many variables.

The people I talked to in Bellevue, WA told me it  does take a year, and they only do appointments every 4 weeks apart so there is actually hair to be removed during each treatment. I believe that is why it takes so long to get it done. If your hair doesn't grow back very thick during treatment then it will be shorter treatment cycle.
